Another NJPW regular has been added to Ring of Honor's upcoming WrestleMania weekend show.

ROH officially announced this morning that Kota Ibushi will be wrestling at Supercard of Honor XII in New Orleans on April 7th. He joins Kenny Omega and Hiroshi Tanahashi as wrestlers who have been confirmed for the show.

ROH's announcement mentions the post-match angle that Ibushi was involved in at New Year's Dash where Omega stopped Cody Rhodes from hitting Ibushi with a chair and Omega and Cody argued after.

Dave Meltzer reported earlier this month that Ibushi would be on the show. Ibushi's last stateside appearance was for NXT in 2016, and the last time he wrestled at a WrestleMania weekend event was at the WWN Supershow that year.

Supercard of Honor XII will take place at the UNO Lakefront Arena on the same night as the Smoothie King Center hosts NXT TakeOver. ROH is looking to break their all-time attendance record, which was set when over 3,000 people were present for Supercard of Honor last year.

Someone on ROHWorld said they think the building seats around 9,000, and ROH (and New Japan) definitely seem to be shooting to fill it. Omega. Cody has also been rumored for the show.
