the angle was supposed to be that the hand was a vibrator because back in the time dildos were not all shaped as dicks, but some as hands, and so the 'joke' was that Mae Young had gone to town really heavy and lost her vibrator inside herself, and thus the pregnancy-like discomfort.

Now that I do, I think it was funnier when I thought it was just a random hand for no reason.

It makes a lot more sense why she gave birth to a fully formed and grown hand... but no, I did not get the joke and did not know this!
