-- WWE has officially announced this year's WrestleMania Women's Battle Royal and confirmed 13 wrestlers for the match.

This will be the second year in a row that the battle royal has taken place, and it will again feature wrestlers from Raw, SmackDown, and NXT. Naomi won last year's battle royal. It was the final match on the WrestleMania 34 pre-show.

Asuka, Carmella, Naomi, Lana, Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville, Nikki Cross, Dana Brooke, Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan, Sarah Logan, Mickie James, and Zelina Vega are the first entrants who have been announced for this year's battle royal.

The sixth-annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal will also be part of the WrestleMania 35 card. Braun Strowman and Saturday Night Live's Michael Che & Colin Jost have been in a storyline leading into WrestleMania, and they're the first three entrants who have been confirmed for the men's battle royal.

WrestleMania 35 is taking place at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on April 7.

-- With the show taking place in Florida, several NXT wrestlers will be appearing at EVOLVE 126.

Four NXT vs. EVOLVE matches have been announced for the show, which will be held at The Orpheum in Ybor City, Florida on Saturday, April 13. Those matches are:

EVOLVE Champion Austin Theory defending against NXT's Raul Mendoza
NXT's Angelo Dawkins vs. Eddie Kingston
NXT's Shane Thorne vs. Curt Stallion
NXT's Adrian Jaoude vs. Anthony Henry
Kingston & Joe Gacy won the EVOLVE Tag Team titles from The Street Profits (Dawkins & Montez Ford) earlier this month.

WWN Champion JD Drake, Shane Strickland, AR Fox (w/ Ayla Fox & The Skulk), Leon Ruff, Harlem Bravado, and Colby Corino are also advertised for EVOLVE 126. The show will air live on Club WWN.

Yes and no. The point of these guys working in EVOLVE is to get seasoned in front of a different type of crowd and help find themselves in a different style (and, in some cases, probably to earn street cred with indy fans, too). Street Profits and Joaude have been regulars in EVOLVE, so their presence makes perfect sense. the other two are guys who Hunter doesn't give a sh*t about them losing. Women's matches in EVOLVE really just feel like an excuse for Priscilla Kelly to be at the show now that Theory has fired her as his manager, so Hunter is just sending someone expendable but who will benefit from the experience.

No. It's an EVOLVE show the weekend after Mania.

In other EVOLVE news, I'm going to the Evolve 125 on Thursday. Also to wXw.

I wish they would find something else to do with the women than a battle royal. Most of them are barely taller than the top rope, it's uncomfortable - borderline embarrassing - watching them try to go over it.
