I hope this gets the attention it deserves. American guys in Japan are treated as heroes, but Japanese wrestlers are treated as "a Japanese guy" in America.

Depends on the guy (or gal). Look at Misawa, Kobashi, Toyota, etc

And I disagree that they are just treated as Japanese guys. Those that deserve it are treated as huge deals.

Hmm... If I think about it...yeah I guess so, but I'm still right about the areas... it's really strange... but some areas of USA just appreciate the product more... (Philly, Chicago etc.) more than others... it's in these cities you'll find more love for the overseas guys..

Liger had all sorts of vignettes & videos. He was hyped to the moon & treated the way he should be.
