WWE.com released this video counting down the top 10 masked wrestlers of all time.
now my rant....

Vader...I may get heat for this, but he's not a masked wrestler really, that's not a mask, it's a bunch of straps, nor is a nose-protector a mask. He's a great wrestler nonetheless, but not a masked wrestler.

Mankind, almost like vader, but i'll let it pass.

Kane....he's good, but # 3 he isn't

Rey rey, i understand that he's WWEs golden boy...but jr doesn't hold a candle on Tiger Mask, Liger, or Ultimo Dragon.

I understand that they'll only promote and consider wrestler for whom they have rights to the footage, but c'mon, to think that Psicosis made it in while LA Park, the Great Sasuke, Juvi, Santo, hell, even Eddie as Black Tiger III didn't....fail.

rant over, i hate your list WWE, i really really hate them...

Majority of WWE lists are crap. Top whatever of all time and they're all crap mostly because they dont like to acknowledge people who are in other promotions.

I get the impression that, especially in cases like this, they struggle to come up with just 10 masked wrestlers - much less the 10 best. What blows my mind is that they had PLENTY of footage from their WCW library to use to include guys like La Parka who are relevant elsewhere today. They, instead, chose to include the clip of Schiovone praising the work of "Ultimate" Dragon, which was funny, but wrong place wrong time.

I'm surprised they didn't add CM Punk to the list...

I didn't think this list was that bad. Sure it was a little bias, but it wasn't horrible.

La Parka and Sasuke should have made the list and Tiger Mask should have been number one. Other than that, it was ok. Rey should be in the top three; he's def the most famous/popular masked superstar of all time.
