ROH Defy Or Deny (3/19/2011)- Plymouth, MA

OPENING SEGMENT- GREAT!

EMBASSY PROMO- RD Evans is so over the top that he absolutely MAKES this group.

MARK BRISCOE vs. KYLE O’REILLY- 6.75/10. Great opener

STEVE CORINO & GRIZZLY REDWOOD vs. THE ALL NIGHT EXPRESS (Kenny King & Rhett Titus)- 5/10. Nothing special, but not bad either.

ADAM COLE vs. TOMMASO CIAMPA (w/The Embassy)- 6.5/10

COLE & O’REILLY-BRAVADOS SEGMENT- Good

SHANE HAGADORN PROMO- Good

TJ PERKINS vs. CHRIS HERO (w/Shane Hagadorn & Sara Del Rey)- 7.75/10 TJP showed a lot of heart and Hero & co. make for an amazing group of heels.

THE BRAVADO BROTHERS vs. MATT TAVEN & GUY ALEXANDER- 3.75/10. Not bad… just extremely short. The pre-match promo by the Bravados came off great, though.

TRUTH MARTINI & MICHAEL ELGIN PROMOS- Awesome!

EDDIE EDWARDS vs. MICHAEL ELGIN (w/Truth Martini)- 7/10

ROH TV TITLE MATCH: Christopher Daniels(c) vs. Mike Bennett (w/”Brutal” Bob Evans)- 6/10. I loved the finish. Great stuff with Daniels and Corino, too!

DAVEY RICHARDS vs. CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI (w/Shane Hagadorn & Sara Del Rey)- 8.25/10. AWESOME, and we saw a lot of stuff that we don’t normally see from Davey.

DEFY OR DENY 4 WAY ELIMINATION MATCH: El Generico vs. Jay Briscoe vs. Homicide vs. Roderick Strong (w/Truth Martini)- 8/10

Overall, this was an extremely good show from ROH, with two matches you should go out of your way to see, and a whole bunch of other great ones.

What's your opinion on Tommaso Ciampa? He won the Super 8 tournament and he's really making a name for himself recently, but I don't see a lot in him. He has a nice physique, but other than that he seems really bland to me, in and out of the ring.

Exactly what you said. He's not bad, but he's nothing special, either.
