Your Wrestling Library
Re: Your Wrestling Library
Joe vs Punk II is WAY better.
By the way...does anyone know where I can get a Japanese-language DVD of the IWA Japan 1995 King of the Death Match event? RFVideo has it, but I think it's dubbed with American commentary from...Dave Prazak and...someone else, I forget who. I want the original Japanese version. On DVD. Help, guys?

Yep. If you get one of the deals where it's like 10 for 30 bucks, why don't you send one my way?Sassafras wrote:Thanks a milli, YCW.

Re: Your Wrestling Library
Bumped for soon to be update. I need to inform everyone about ROH's current AWESOME sale!
It is the following:
http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/reelin ... dvds-sale/
Things I think are particulary good deals:
ANYTHING from 02, 03 or 04. It can't not be worth it at that price, especially something like Weekend of Thunder: Night 1 ($4 for a show with Aries vs. Punk and DANIELSON vs. LIGER!!!!!)
Final Battle 2009 - one great show and one mediocre show for more than 50% off from the price of one regular show (I already own FB 09 digitally through GoFight and I am still getting this)! It includes an AWESOME Fight Without Honor between Hero and Kingston including one of the sickest spots I have ever seen (the match itself, or their ROH feud as a whole, for that matter doesn't come close to their CZW one, but this match it definitely awesome), two awesome tag team matches (Wolves vs. Briscoes and Steen & Generico vs. Young Bucks) as well as between Steen turning on Generico.
Northern Navigation a freaking AWESOME show, and a complete and total steal at $8. It includes An amazing match between Nigel McGuinness and Kevin Steen, great angle progression as well as a good street gight between the Age of the Fall and the Briscoes & Austin Aries, Roderick Strong vs. Naomichi Marufuji (8/10!), Danielson vs. Castagnoli, Erick Stevens vs. Go Shiozaki, Kenny Omega's ROH debut, Jennifer Blake's only ROH appearance (to my knowledge) and to top it all off, an appearance by Lance Storm!
Violent Tendencies- The Steel Cage blowoff to Tyler Black vs. Jimmy Jacobs, an amazing tag team match between the American Wolves and Roderick Strong & KENTA, and a fun Six Man Mayhem match which planted the seeds for the title chases of both Delirious and Petey Williams in 2009 (plus an AMAZING one liner from Austin Aries to Joey Ryan)
Double Feature II ($9)- own this, but haven't watched it yet. This was really a "best of" of one double shot of shows, so you know it must be good. It includes Jimmy Jacobs vs. Delirious in a Street Fight, Jimmy Jacobs vs. Tyler Black, Bryan Danielson, Kevin Steen, & El Generico vs. The American Wolves & Sylvain Grenier, and an amazing match between the American Wolves and Danielson & Black (one of only 9 matches in ROH history to be so good that they named the show named after it).
The Omega Effect($9)- an Amazing match between Austin Aries & Kenny Omega that is worth this price alone, plus awesome matches between Roderick Strong and Tyler Black, El Generico vs. Katsuhiko Nakajima, and a great match between Steen and Hero, including a hilariously awesome pre-match promo from Steen.
The Final Countdown: Boston($9)- three words: DANIELSON vs. RICHARDS
Glory By Honor VIII: The Final Countdown ($9)- Dragon & Nigel in their last ROH match (plus farewell speeches), Steen & Generico vs. American Wolves in a Ladder War, and a few other great matches (Omega vs. Claudio, Petey Williams vs. Austin Aries, Sonjay Dutt vs. Grizzly Redwood vs. Delirious vs. Roderick Strong).
Clash of the Contenders ($9)- Kenny Omega vs. Davey Richards, Tyler Black vs. Chris Hero
Take No Prisoners ($8)- AMAZING main event worth the money by itself, plus an awesome match between Aries and Danielson. Everything else is solid or better.
Breakout ($8)- own it but haven't seen it yet. Card looks awesome though. Danielson vs. Black, Nigel vs. Hero in a Steel Cage, Aries vs. Stevens vs. Richards, Steen & Generico vs. Whitmer & Albright in a no DQ's match.
Fifth Year Festival: Finale ($7)- I have heard AMAZING things about this show. Another one that I own but haven't watched yet. Briscoe vs. Briscoe is supposed to be awesome. It also has Nigel vs. Jimmy Rave in a Fight Without Honor, Matt Sydal vs. PAC, Speed Muscle vs. Davey & Roddy, and Jacobs vs. Whitmer in a Falls Count Anywhere match. It is also Joe's last ROH show (he wrestles Homicide)
Fifth Year Festival: NYC ($7)- JOE vs. MORISHIMA!
A New Level ($8)- Own it but haven't watched it yet. Another completely stacked card: Danielson vs. Marufuji, Claudio vs. Nigel, Jacobs & Black vs. Jay Briscoe & Austin Aries, Steen & Generico vs. Davey & Rocky, Morishima vs. Necro Butcher, Strong vs. Stevens vs. Shiozaki
Return Engagement ($8)- Nigel vs. Steen, a good women's match, El Generico vs. Kota Ibushi, and MCMG vs. BRISCOES!!!!!!!!!
Anarchy in the UK ($6)- I have heard good things about this show, but it is more of a "dream card" show than a show that cares about angles, which has dissuaded me from buying it so far
Generation Now ($6)- own it but haven't watched it yet: Christian vs. Daniels, Nigel vs. Danielson, Mark Briscoe vs. Homicide
Dissension ($6)- AJ vs. DANIELSON (8.5/10!) also Daniels vs. Sydal, and some just plain great angle progression on multiple fronts
Showdown in Motown ($5)- Definitely will be ordering this one: Danielson vs. Sabin, Aries vs. Shelley, Jimmy Rave & Abyss vs. AJ & Matt Sydal, Homicide vs. Cabana vs. Joe vs. Daniels, and Nigel vs. Claudio for the Pure Title
It is the following:

Nope. Just the good ones (although if I see a show for really cheap (like, under $5, I will get it, just because it will probably be worth it)Rabid619 wrote:BRM, are you trying to buy every ROH DVD in existence?
