In 02, we knew he was returning. He had been on TV and had a confrontation with Kurt. I am thinking more of an Edge thing. Totally unannounced

right now i'm between Hunter, Cena, or Miz (i can see Orton taking the title and Miz using A-Ri's number)

Del Rio. I feel like he's had more consistent momentum than anyone other than Morrison and Bryan and he's yet to win a title.

Punk is my second pic (bc Cena will prolly get the title before WM; or Orton will still hold the belt. either would have an awesome match with Punk.

Morrison has a good shot, too; he's the guy I believe could pull off a surprise classic like HBK did at WM. He's a great performer.

I still beleive it's going to be Awesome Kong.

Christian, CM Punk, or John Morrison...all 3 are due a RR win...

But, I'm gonna go with Barrett. For as far as he's made it up the card, they haven't given him much to brag about. Rumble Winner would work...

Too soon for Barrett to win it in my opinion... I could see Miz winning it in that scenario... but would still prefer Christian, Morrison, or Punk...

why is that? at its inception I would have agreed... but this year, does anyone really think Primo, Zack Ryder, Darren Young or Heath Slater will win this year's Rumble? Its only for those who are either in the Main event or getting ready to be considered main event who will ever win it again... speaking of which, when is the last time someone won the Royal Rumble in their first try? I believe its Ric Flair...

You know I'm going to agree with you here.

I think del Rio has a good chance of winning, but I would LOVE to see guys like Slater, Gabriel or McIntyre win. I know none of those guys have had a decent push enough to deserve the win, but it would be a huge "...WTF? o_O" moment and people won't expect it to happen. That, and I think having a younger guy win would be a very good thing.

Also, I can see The Miz losing to Orton earlier in the night and using Riley's number as mentioned above. Barrett and Punk also have a good chance of winning as Punk has Nexus and Barrett has "The Core" to help him out. Lynas said in another thread that he would like to see Barrett and Punk face off as the last two men, and I have to agree, it would be an intense standoff.

Pretty much what I'm saying is, my heart pick is Morrison, but my brain says there are a number of guys who could take the Rumble.
