BRM Reviews the 5/21/2012 Raw (bad)

OPENING SEGMENT- Cena’s promo was a bit too over the top, but the most problematic thing here was Johnny Ace saying that he rehired Big Show ON SATURDAY. Before the PPV. Meaning that Big Show was under contract when he interfered in the match at Over The Limit… so he should be fired again, as per the stips of the match! (edit: okay, they caught this mistake and Cole explained it away later)
Big Show was good, though.

JOHN CENA vs. DAVID OTUNGA- no rating. Okay segment. It was executed well, but I’m not sure it was necessary.

SANTINO MARELLA & RICARDO RODRIGUEZ SEGMENT- decently amusing.

RANDY ORTON vs. ALBERTO DEL RIO- 5/10
The Jericho stuff was eh.

DANIEL BYRAN, CM PUNK, & KANE SEGMENT & MATCH- decent

CHRISTIAN vs. JINDER MAHAL- 3.25/10

KELLY KELLY vs. BETH PHOENIX- 3/10
Did its job well

HANDICAP LUMBERJACK MATCH: John Cena & Sheamus vs. Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger, & Lord Tensai (w/Vickie Guerrero & Sakamoto)- 6.25/10
Told its story well, but still not good enough for a main event. I would like an explanation of why the babyfaces didn’t come down to the ring earlier, though.

Overall, a bad episode of Raw

But that doesn't mean that they can't attack the other lumberjacks if they see an injustice going on.
Also, I am remembering a Lumberjack match from a long time ago where Bischoff had to have all of the babyfces jumped or something like that. He couldn't just not choose them as Lumberjacks.
