BIG SHOW PROMO- GREAT!

SANTINO MARELLA vs. ALBERTO DEL RIO (w/Ricardo Rodriguez)- Santino is treated as he should be. He gets his comedy spots in, then is squashed. While I was watching this, though, it occurred to me that it would be hilarious if Ricardo ripped the cobra off of Santino's arm, put it in a burlap sack and then did a senton onto it, and they sold it just like Earthquake squashing Damien.

BIG SHOW, EVE, & ALEX RILEY BACKSTAGE- good

WWE WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: R-Truth & Kofi Kingston(c) vs. Jack Swagger & Dolph Ziggler (w/vickie Guerrero)- 4.75/10

BIG SHOW & BRODUS CLAY SEGMENT- YES! Finally, something for Brodus to do!

JOHNNY ACE, EVE, OTUNGA, & CM PUNK SEGMENT- boring. I laughed at Punk calling Otunga "Carlton" but that was about it.

CM PUNK vs. DANIEL BRYAN- 7/10
Props to Cole for calling out Lawler on stupid commentary regarding AJ. Lawler says that Aj has no business being out here and that it is Dragon's fault that Big Show ran AJ over is a huge 180 from what he was saying when dragon was still a babyface. I absolutely hate when announcers (and especially babyfaces) completely change every opinion they have ever had about someone when that person turns.
Since I'm sure you are all expecting me to comment on the AJ thing, I will say that I don't think it is bad, but I would have done the whole thing much differently. The stuff with Kane was great, though. I think that a tweener Kane running around is a great addition to this feud to keep it feeling fresh.

THE MIZ vs. CHRISTIAN- 4.5/10

JOHNNY ACE & THE STOOGES BACKSTAGE- I've got it! I had been searching for some sort of funny name to refer to Eve and Tounga by, and I think I've found it. And I swear that this one is actually good. Much better than calling Mason Ryan "Beard-Tista." Just like Vince had his stooges back in the day, Jphnny Ace now has stooges of his own: Blackerson & Chick-sco (like Patterson & Brisco. Get it?)
Anyway, the segment itself wasn't bad. I had almost forgotten that Teddy Long was being humiliated, but I have to point out that Eve didn't ask for iced coffee. If Teddy can't remember one simple order of coffee, then how did he ever run a TV show?

MIZ PROMO- not bad. I guess that Randy Orton had to get his face on the show somehow, and someone thought that randomly attacking the Miz would be a good idea.
Got to love Cole saying that Randy giving Miz an RKO was "shocking everyone>" I don't think there is anyone who has seen an episode of Raw over the past three years who didn't know that this segment was going to end with The Miz eating an RKO.

DAVID OTUNGA vs. SHEAMUS- Good squash

THE BIG SHOW vs. BRODUS CLAY- No rating- GREAT segment. This is a new, more dangerous Big Show we are dealing with here. Cena will definitely be in trouble at No Way Out.

Overall, a good episode of Raw.

that would be a great segment! the only problem here was that Santino is indeed the us champ, and champs shouldn't be getting squashed.

i thought that Show vs Cena again would be overkill, but i'm kinda interested now...yet, truth be told, i rather see show vs clay in a real feud

not during the comedy act run he has right now, agree. his first runs with the IC were good

As far as Santino goes, they had the PERFECT opportunity to get him out of that comedy zone and begin to push him as a legitimate wrestler with a goofy character, like R-Truth, when he and Dragon were left in the Elimination Chamber. They had Santino actually wrestle that night, and behave like a serious competitor, and did you see how much the crowd freaking loved it?

But no. They missed that window and still stuck the strap on him anyway. I'd love to see Santino as a proper fighting champion.

As for Big Show, this is why I've always loved him as a heel. You don't NEED to have him be good at winning the fans over. You don't need to shove him down our throats to get him over, because the moment he goes out there with that scowl on his face and his eyes locked on someone, you know he means business. And then when he goes full berzerker, THAT is what I look for in Big Show as a character. The bad ass mother fucker that nearly ended Kurt Angle's career, that terrorised Triple H, that flipped over a damn car because he was pissed off.

I also wanna mention this. The small promo Show was cutting on Clay before the brawl was great!!

Angry destroying Big Show huh? MORE PLEASE!!!!!! He's the biggest guy in the freaking locker room, let him kick some a**. He needs to rampage for months. Him as a babyface gets boring quick.
