Morrison's name, Johnny Nitro, was in honor to WCW Nitro, since he was named during the angle where he was Bischoff's apprentice. And it's believed that he changed to Morrison cuz Vince hated the name Nitro.

I knew it was a WCW reference; didn't think that was why he changed it.

I don't really blame Vince. I think its a silly sounding name.

I think the only time it's acceptable to call yourself nitro is if you're a big buffed up guy and the name of the show is American Gladiators.

Not only did I know this, I remember watching it when it happened. If I remember correctly, his original name on Raw was Johnny Blaze
