TNA Destination X 2012 (7/8/2012)- Orlando, FL

X-DIVISION TITLE TOURNAMENT QUALIFYING MATCH: Rubix vs. Mason Andrews vs. Lars Only vs. Dakota Darsow- spotty but good. A very X-Division opener, which is a good thing for Destination X.

X-DIVISION TITLE TOURNAMENT FIRST ROUND MATCH: Mason Andrews vs. Kid Kash- 5/10

SAMOA JOE PROMO- good

X-DIVISION TITLE TOURNAMENT FIRST ROUND MATCH: Doug Williams vs. Kenny King- 5.75/10

CHRISTOPHER DANIELS PROMO- very good

X-DIVISION TITLE TOURNAMENT FIRST ROUND MATCH: Sonjay Dutt vs. Rashad Cameron- 5.25/10

JESSE SORENSEN STUFF- very good

X-DIVISION TITLE TOURNAMENT FIRST ROUND MATCH: Flip Casanova vs. Zema Ion- 3.75/10

BOBBY ROODE AND THE X-DIVISION GUYS- eh (and unnecessary).

BOUND FOR GLORY SERIES MATCH: Kurt Angle vs. Samoa Joe- 7.5/10

LAST MAN STANDING MATCH: AJ Styles vs. Christopher Daniels- 8/10
Awesome! Great psychology and lots of blood, too.

AUSTIN ARIES PROMO- great

ULTIMATE X MATCH FOR THE VACANT TNA X-DIVISION TITLE: Kenny King vs. Sonjay Dutt vs. Zema Ion vs. Mason Andrews- 5/10
I really didn't like the end of this match. The bump that King and Andrews took looked more like they both decided to simultaneously let go than someone hitting a wrestling move, and Sonjay's bump at the ended looked way too controlled to be real. The rest of the match was just some random spots.

ZEMA ION PROMO- great

TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: Bobby Roode(c) vs. Austin Aries-8.5/10
An awesome match with a very hot crowd. This is the hottest I can remember the Impact Zone being in the entirety of the Hogan-Bischoff era.

Overall, a great show from TNA. This is their show of the year so far by miles.

I thought the Ultimate X Match SUCKED. Like nothing really cool happened. And I swear the "double neckbreaker" spot or whatever you wanna call it with Andrews and King, I SWEAR they were like "okay let go on three."

My thoughts exactly. I wouldn't say it sucked (aside from the finish), but I would definitely call it "uninspired."

I thought it was a decent heel ending, the problem IMO was that they were moving really slow, and they showed the spray can before Zema got to use it. The neckbreaker thing i do agree it wasn't that great, i didn't pay attention and just thought they had fallen, i was expecting dutt and Ion to stomp them down, but nope.

they should have had casanova instead of andrews, he would have done more crazy spots for the ultimate x match.

i agree with cero2k, the problem with the ending was that it was telegraphed so bad when they showed ion carrying the spray can

It seemed that the plans for Ultimate X kinda got scrapped once Sonjay hurt is shoulder; they seemed to be just stalling until he came back...

Yeah I get that. Odds are they didn't think Dutt was coming back and were trying to think of a new finish, Then Dutt came back,

yep; good thing too.

Honestly, I hope they higher all the guys I saw on the ppv; AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD SIGN JACK EVANS! I heard Johnny Gargano was gonna be a free agent soon also. What about Paul London? HE still wrestling?

Quick question tho: Where was Mark Haskins in all this?

Gargano is signing with WWE (or so the news article said). London doesn't seem to be wrestling anymore. If he was, he would likely be all over ROH, PWG, DGUSA, and the other major indies. He is a big name in indy wrestling.

I think Jack is happy working in AAA, and, even with the deal, I don't think TNA would be able to use him full time. Also, I know that AAA has pulled people (and Jack specifically) from shows at the last minute, so I assume that TNA doesn't want to get screwed that way. If they could convince Jack to come to the US, though...
