Disclaimer: This is my first exposure to RWA's current storylines, so i'm reviewing based on what I'm watching

RWA Tag Team Championship TLC Match
Forbidden Warriors (Great Akuma and Jun Hado) (C) vs Generation Dead (G-Raver and Jason Gory) - 6.75/10

Some clarifications, Great Akuma, not to be confused with Gran Akuma; furthermore, this TLC is won by pin or submission, not Ladder match rules. Match starts with the champs attacking Generation Dead during the introductions. I'm not all that familiar with Akuma, but I would imagine that fists of (literally) fire should be a spot saved for later in the match, especially since it only took out G-Raver for a little bit. Match itself was good, all four guys are quite capable, Gory being the standout of them all. No particular innovating spots, but they did a good job with the use of weapons and the environment. The finish saw what would had been a tower of doom to a table with thumbtacks, but Hado ended up just powerbombing both Dead to the tables and Akuma pin them both, this kinda made them look like chumps, they surely don't deserve another title shot if one man is able to powerbomb them both at the same time, and the other double pin them.

Post-Match - James Mitchell and Paul Heyman's long lost son, Dr. Feelbad, tries to put over the Generation Dead and then address that TNA and RWA are both running on the same night. He also announces that Sonjay Dutt is coming to defend his title, also announces G-Raver's last match in RWA.

G-Raver Promo - Talks about starting up, wrestling for RWA, and taking off. He wants his last match against Gory. Gory accepts.

5 Man Elimination Scramble to determine the final 2 Participants for the PA Regional Championship
Johnny Attitude vs Takahashi vs Danny Able vs Stephon Smith vs J Best- 5/10

Danny Able is pretty much a saiyan with a helmet and a green Puerto Rican flag, he also seems to have a fanny pack. The rest of the wrestlers are somewhat normal. The match has 4-corner survival rules with eliminations. Match was good, but most eliminations came way to close between them, and it seemed the whole match was set up to put Danny Able over, which worked at least on me, but I didn't like him cheating right in front of the ref.

Dree Blitz vs Christian Tarr - 5.5/10

Standard one to one match, started really good, but as the time passed, both wrestlers were either fantastic sellers, or got really tired and slowed down enough so their moves were not looking as effective. Both guys had some good moves for their size. Finishing sequence would have been good if the moves looked better.

PA Regional Title Match
Danny Able vs Stephon Smith - 5.5/10

Danny didn't come out to his Saiyan attire this time. Smith goes after Danny before the bell rings. The match was like the previous one, two big guys going at each other with big moves, a far better wrestling display than the 5 way match. Also similar to the previous match, wrestlers got slow as the match progressed. Again, I wasn't a fan of Danny straight trying to cheat in front of the ref. Finish was good, I asked myself why didn't Smith just grab the rope, but i'll ignore that for now.

Cage Match for the RWA Women's Championship
Jesse Belle Smothers (C) vs Sara Dox - 6.5/10

Aside from the escape spots, this was a great women's match that just happened to take place inside a cage, even the guys that were along with the girls got involved in the apron and passed weapons with ease. Jesse Belle was quite impressive

Steel Cage Match - Renegade Games
Team RWA (Shane Andrews, Nick Esteban Taylor, Stryder , and Ryan Edmonds) vs The Fold (Memphis Mofo, Jack Cicero, Jimmy Cicero, and Trace Matthews) - 7/10

Memphis Mofo and Shane Andrews start the match for their teams. Since i'm not fully familiar with the teams, i can't really say if the order to entrants made sense, but the wildcards and the big swerves seemed to be well used. I wasn't a huge fan however of Dr. Feelbad bringing out Ashton Amherst, it made him look like a sore loser and the faces needed to cheat to win. The match itself was a good brawl for a war games style match, Shane and Mofo went 5 minutes alone at the start and the suspense did build up, but as soon as the teams started to come out, it was the typical 'teams exchange momentum' until Ryan Edmonds returned and swerve ensured. Nick Esteban tapped out the champ, he should be getting a title shot next show.

Post-Match - Amherst cuts a return promo

OVERALL THOUGHTS:

Overall good show with some big things happening. Probably not the best option to start following RWA since it seemed like we were mostly getting the conclusion to several stories, but a perfect show to get an overall idea on who the major players are on each of the divisions and alignments. Definitely interested in watching G-Raver's final match and more on Danny Able
