So now that LU season 1 is officially over, my life is meaningless, so in order to stay alive, i'm going to start re-watching LU from the beginning, evaluating subtle hints, things that were never payed off, build up that I missed. etc. I don't have to say, but I'll be spoiling a lot of future shows in case you haven't seen them. I won't rate matches with numbers, but I'll try to find a word that describes my feeling for the match.

EP 2: Los Demonios

Show starts with a full recap of Ep. 1. Full recap.

Big Ryck + The Crew Segment: Castro actually using the mic. I think this will be the last time he talks. Cisco will only talk one more time I think. Ryck is talking and Mundo comes out, no parkour yet to attack the Crew. Puma goes out there too. Dario then pulls out one of his first on the spot booking decisions and books a tag team match...playa.

Johnny Mundo and Prince Puma vs The Crew (Cortez Castro and Cisco) - GREAT!
This was a good intro and showing for the Crew, at this point, they were coming off as a legit team and actual competition, this was not a match between jobbers and the two top guys. Prince Puma was amazing in this match. While it was never mentioned during the season since Cortez became a jobber, I wonder if he could eventually have some significance to the Dario Cueto storyline being that Dario is the Spaniard that steals Aztec gold, and this guys is called, well: Cortez.

Konnan and Puma segment - Konnan tells Puma to not trust Mundo. He was right all along, i'll never doubt Konnan ever again.

Mil Muertes Vignette - Good for what it was, they were trying to make it seem scary, they'll achieve that weeks after Grave Consequences.

Son of Havoc and Ivelisse vs Chavo Guerrero, Jr, and Sexy Star - GOOD
Ivelisse used to look soo bad ass with the bandanna covering half of her face. I can't recall at this point, but this may be the first and last time that there is girl on girl wrestling in Lucha Underground. Match was good, mainly the spots between Chavo and SOH. Eddie chants at the end.

During this match, Striker says that 'if you got what it takes, come on down to the temple'. months later Marty "The Moth" Martinez will debut.

Blue Demon Segment - Enter Catrina and her superpowers. First Lick of Death too, Demon cleans it out, probably the reason why he never died like other guys.

Prince Puma Origin Story - So a 'close friend' told Konnan about Puma, wonder if that close friend is one Dragon Azteca, or at least someone from Boyle Heights.

Blue Demon Jr vs Mil Muertes w/Catrina - OK
The match was Blue Demon slow, but pretty decent for a Demon match. Mil Muertes was awesome. So the match wasn't all that amazing, but it was a perfect way to introduce Muertes and what he stands for.

Post Match - Mil was gonna attack Demon with the stone, no Lick of Death. Chavo makes the save and turns on Demon. Muertes was pissed off that Chavo interfered, but Catrina was kinda happy about it. During the Blue Demon beat-down, there are two guys that come out to help, one being Famous B, the other is who will join The Crew later on as Bael, why would he try to help Demon, i don't know. Sexy comes out to try and tell Chavo to stop, Chavo chair-shots her head off. Body count: 6. Only Demon gets EMT attention. "EEEES PUTO" and "CULERO" chants for Chavo.

FINAL THOUGHTS: Good follow up that had more great wrestling, good intro for 6 new characters, and the Chavo turn.
