Jim Miller (NWA President) is here and says that he found some new talent for TNA and presents a trophy welcoming TNA to the NWA family.
First Round Tag Team Title Tournament Match
James Storm and Chris Harris vs The Johnsons w/Mortimer Plumtree - 4/10
Four points for AMW, one point for the Johnsons showing up. Match was bad, but at least the right team won.
Post-match: The Johnsons have turned on Mortimer just three shows in, one of them botched a chokeslam so he just pushed him down.
Scoll Hall/Jeff Jarrett/Jim Miller segment - Hall is gonna cut a promo and Jarrett interrupts. Jarrett talks shit, Hall tells him to bring it. Jim tells Jeff to chill, Krush attacks Hall and gets beat up.
Goldielocks!!! Someone attacked AMW and are bleeding bad.
"Alpha Male" Monty Brown vs Anthony something - SQUASH
Monty Brown is using what is now Abyss' song, he cuts a pre-match promo saying he's here for Shamrock's title. It was a squash, nothing to it, he had shiny shorts.
Goldielocks is looking around for Jim Miller, but Puppet is there instead. Fuck. He wants to 'beat midget ass'
First Round Tag Team Title Tournament Match
The Rainbow Express w/Joel Gertner vs Buff Bagwell and Apollo - 5.5/10
Goldielocks interviewing Bagwell and Apollo in the backstage. If they're next to fight, why aren't they cutting this promo backstage? Goldielocks is still the best thing in the NWA/TNA Asylum Years. Rainbow Express have the greatest tags in history. A better match than the first tag match, both teams are competent enough to pull off a match, Bagwell was botching a lot. i'm starting to like the Rainbow Express, it's an interesting team.
Marcus Bagwell cuts a promo that he doesn't want to be called Buff anymore. Marcus quits because he just lost to two gay guys.
During the match, Aleeza caame out again. Ferrara payed her off. I'm now speculating she is a prostitute.
Ken Shamrock Promo - Talks shit to Monty Brown, Talks shit about Malice, Talks shit about some Japanese that Jim Miller is bringing. James Mitchell interrupts, says stuff, lights go off and when they come back Malice has killed Shamrock.
Goldielocks is still trying to figure out what's up with the tag team situation. Jerry Lynn wants in on the tournament.
Puppet The Psycho Dwarf vs Cold Stone? - Midget Squash
It's taken me 12 yrs to figure it out, Puppet reminds me of Roger from American Dad. Puppet just killed that poor guy. After the match Puppet hit Borash and West with the kendo stick.

Francine vs Taylor Vaughn - Dud, terrible segment
Francine attacks Taylor straight up with a belt and Taylor went down. Taylor then took the belt and got payback. Ref DQs Taylor when she attacked him. Bad segment. Post match, Ferrara helps Francine up, but she puts his hand on her boob now and then she attacks him. What the fuck is going on?
Hermie Sadler is still here, fuck!! He talks until K-Krush interrupts with the greatest t-shirt EVER. They get in a fight. Krush vs Sadler is agreed for next week.
NWA Championhship of the World Match
Malice w/James Mitchell vs Ken Shamrock (C) - 4/10
They're playing the story that last time, Malice was already tired of the gauntlet match, but this time, Shamrock is injured and Malice is fresh. After getting destroyed for all the match, Shamrock won with a snap and Belly-to-belly suplex combination.
NWA X Division Title Match
David Young w/Bobcat vs AJ Styles - 6/10
Bobcat is still outside doing her shtick, but even when the commentary kept talking about her, they kept putting the match over. Match was great, but the crowd was dead, they wanted race car racers and titties and a little bit of that Toby Keith. They did pop for the middle rope Styles Clash.
Goldielocks interviews The Rainbow Express - Joel was great, but utterly creepy. He kissed Goldielocks and now I want to see him get beat up.
Finals of the Tag Team Title Tournament Match
The Rainbow Express vs Jerry Lynn and AJ Styles - 6/10
You would imagine that giving the shot to the Johnsons would make more sense than just a random team that wasn't even in the tournament, I'm not complaining since it's Lynn and Styles, but still. The match was good, some good heel tactics by The Rainbow Express, but commentary totally failed to sell it. There was a reversal from Bruce on Lynn that pretty much consisted of Lynn getting a bj with teeth. AJ Styles wins with the Spinal Tap and becomes a double champion within 3 shows.
I think the fans are as tired as I am, we're one and a half hours in, but it feels like 3 by now.
More backstage stuff. They found Jim Miller tied in the back and someone wrote 'FU' in his huge gut. Goldielocks was like "Fuck this shit, i'm out of here"
K-Krush and Jeff Jarrett vs Scott Hall and Brian Christopher -
When Jarrett and Krush become the workhorses of a match, you know you're in trouble. The match wasn't that bad, but you can't expect much from Hall and BC. The big story was that BC turned on Hall and joined Krush and Jarrett. I wonder if that Nascar guy is double thinking his match next week now that Brian Christopher won't come out to save his ass.
Post-match Jeff Jarratt Promo - He says that he has defeat Hall everywhere and is gonna run him out of the NWA. He keeps shooting on the NWA legends and breaks the new trophy on Hall's head. Jeff Jarrett keeps talking trash, attacks Hall on a stretcher, he's gonna kick Hall out of the NWO, sorry NWA.
OVERALL THOUGHTS:
God, this show was long, so fucking long. It was awesome to see Styles become a double champion and have two good matches. But there is just soo much shit all round that it gets hard.
