ROH Caged Collision (1/31/2009)- Chicago, IL

ARIES & JACOBS PROMO- okay.

KENNY KING vs. SILAS YOUNG vs. "SUGARFOOT" ALEX PAYNE- 4.75/10

CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI vs. KEVIN STEEN- 6.75/10

NIGEL MCGUINNESS PROMO- good

JERRY LYNN & THE NECRO BUTCHER vs. THE AGE OF THE FALL (Brodie Lee & Delirious) (w/Jimmy Jacobs)- 6.5/10. Great psychology (especially if you take out the pointless, stupid, should have been a DQ chair shot and table bump between Necro and Brodie at the end.

AFTERMATH- F*CKING PERFECT! Props to both Jimmy and Daizee for their reactions.

FOUR CORNER SURVIVLA MATCH FOR AN MITB-STYLE SHOT AT THE ROH WORLD TITLE: Jimmy Jacobs & Austin Aries vs. Bryan Danielson & Tyler Black- 7.75/10. Good story and good action.

ROH WORLD TITLE MATCH: Nigel McGuinness(c) vs. El Generico- 8/10. GREAT story here, with some cool spots.

STEEL CAGE WARFARE: Brent Albright, Roderick Strong, Erick Stevens, Ace Steel, & Jay Briscoe vs. Sweet N' Sour Inc. (Davey Richards, Eddie Edwards, Adam Pearce, Bobby Dempsey, & Tank Toland) (w/Larry Sweeney)- 7/10. Extremely disappointing for a cage match blow-off. If you want to have Bobby become a man and stand up for himself... have HIM be the final member of Albright's team. Ace Steel had no business whatsoever being in this match as it is. He has had no part in this feud at all. Put Hagadorn or Del Rey in Bobby's spot on Team SnS, then put Bobby in Ace's spot. This way the heels actually have five effective members on their team!

Bonus Match:
RHETT TITUS vs. GRIZZLY REDWOOD- 4.5/10. Fun and entertaining though.

Overall, this was an okay show from ROH, but definitely skippable (unless you are a HUGE fan of the Delirous-Daizee Haze relationship, in which case it is still skippable, but a bit less so).
