WWF INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH: Rocky Maivia(c) vs. The Sultan (w/The Iron Sheik & Bob Backlund)- 5/10/ Good aftermath, too.

GOLDUST (w/Marlena) vs. HUNTER HEARST HELMSLEY (w/Chyna)- 6.75/10
Goludust has Hunter in the ropes and punches him right in the nose, prompting Vince to say “you can’t miss that thing if you aim anywhere near his face.” Lawler, in absolutely perfect Jerry Lawler heel form, steps to Triple H’s defense saying: “HEY! He’s sensitive about that. Just because he makes Pinocchio look like a cat… don’t make fun of him!” I want that Jerry Lawler back on commentary!
WWF WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: Owen Hart & The British Bulldog(c) vs. Vader & Mankind (w/Paul Bearer)- 5/10
NO DQ’S SUBMISSION MATCH WITH KEN SHAMROCK AS SPECIAL GUEST REFEREE: Bret Hart vs. “Stone Cold” Steve Austin- 10/10! A masterwork of story telling. An amazing tale of escalating violence and resilience.
FAAROOQ PROMO- short and sweet.
STREET FIGHT: Ahmed Johnson & The Legion of Doom vs. The Nation of Domination (w/Clarence Mason, Woflie D, JC Ice, & D’Lo Brown)- 6.25/10. Awesome aftermath, though.
NO DISQUALIFICATION MATCH FOR THE WWF TITLE: Psycho Sid(c) vs. The Undertaker- 7.25/10
Overall, an okay show by WWE, but slightly disappointing for Wrestlemania. This show is definitely propped up by Bret vs. Austin. Without it, this show wouldn’t have been very good. A must-buy for fans of Bret Hart and Stone Cold.
