ROH Retribution: Round Robin Challenge II (4/26/2003)- West Mifflin, PA

PROPHECY PROMO- Great promos all around

ROUND ROBIN CHALLENGE MATCH #1: Amazing Red vs. Christopher Daniels (w/Allison Danger)- 6.75/10, but the finish was perfect.

SECOND CITY SAINTS (Ace Steel & Colt Cabana) vs. DA HIT SQUAD (Monsta Mack & Dan Maff) (w/Allison Danger)- Mack is very disapproving of Maff having joined the prophecy. He shakes hands with the Saints. Maff does not- 5.25/10.

TAG TEAM SCRAMBLE MATCH: The SAT vs. Dunn & Marcos vs. EZ Money & Sterling James Keenan vs. Special K (w/Slugger)- Fast paced and action-packed, but it had enough people in it to allow everyone the proper time to sell. I didn’t like the other Special K members getting involved. I always felt that early ROH was a bit too lax on their DQs. 6/10.
After the match, there was also some confusing stuff after the match with Special K’s bodyguard Slugger, and some other guy.

#1 CONTENDER’S TROPHY MATCH: CM Punk (w/Lucy) vs. Homicide (w/Julius Smokes)- 7.75/10! Great match.

NO DQ’s MATCH: The Carnage Crew vs. Fast Eddie, Hernandez, & Don Juan (w/Rudy Boy Gonzalez)- 7.25/10. VERY bloody.

ROUND ROBIN CHALLENGE MATCH #2: Paul London vs. Amazing Red- 7.25/10.

STYKER & COLLYER SEGMENT- GREAT!

MICHAEL SHANE PROMO- good

PERSEPHONE vs. ALEXIS LAREE- 4.75/10.

CM PUNK PROMO- AWESOME!

MATT STRYKER vs. CHAD COLLYER vs. DONOVAN MORGAN vs. MICHAEL SHANE vs. BJ WHITMER- 7.5/10. Told two good stories, but I was very disappointed with Collyer’s selling when he got back in the ring after having his leg torn apart for seven minutes.

ROUND ROBIN CHALLENGE MATCH #3: Christopher Daniels vs. Paul London -8.25/10.

ROH WORLD TITLE MATCH: Samoa Joe(c) vs. Doug Williams- 7.5/10. Williams was very impressive here. He got in most of the offense, working over Joe’s arm.

AFTERMATH- The Prophecy vs. The Group: THE WAR IS ON!

Overall, this was a very good show, and is worth picking up.
