wXw WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH:
A4(c) vs. CCK - 7.5/10

GREAT opener!

ROBERT DREISSKER vs. "BAD BONES" JOHN KLINGER - 5.75/10

Dreissker caught Klinger off guard with an early charge into a corner splash. They do call him "The Avalanche" for a reason. This was a decent hoss fight that ended when Dirty Dragan came out and tried to give his old stablemate Dreissker a high-five but this distracted Dreissker and allowed Klinger to powerbomb him for the ring. Dreissker destroyed Dirty Dragan after the match.

EMIL SITOCI vs. MICHAEL DANTE - 6/10

The story of this match was Dante's size against Sitoci's work on the arm in a match for bragging rights between Holland's two top wrestlers (the "who is the best Dutch wrestler?" part of it had been set up by either interaction last month at Back to the Roots XVI).

INTER-GENDER STREET FIGHT:
Alpha Female & Marius van Beethoven vs. Alpha Lovers (Alpha Kevin & Melanie Gray) - 8.5/10

As we learned in the pre-match video package, Melanie Gray was so angry and Marius van Beethoven than she demanded that this match be given a special dispensation for inter-gender violence because she wants to wants to make him suffer so badly.

This was one hell of an emotional, violent street fight. For those of you who are uncomfortable with man-on-woman violence, they actually had very little of that in there (and almost all of it was the heel Marius on Melanie), and yet they still managed to really make this feel like it was two vs. two rather than two separate singles fights. The finish saw Melanie about to get some revenge on Marius for last week's brutal attack in the cage but Marius ran off like the coward he is, leaving Alpha Female to eat a senton bomb with a whole bunch of chairs on top of her from Melanie to get some much-needed vengeance there. Marius will surely get his next month at the 16 Carat Gold Tournament. I'm telling you guys: this is the Feud of the Year.

BOBBY GUNNS vs. DA MACK - 5/10

They started off well and were doing a decent job of telling the story of Gunns working Da Mack's arm, but then they totally abandoned it in favor of random stuff.

ILJA DRAGUNOV vs. ALEXANDER JAMES - 6.75/10

James was impressive, and Dragunov picks up a good win heading into 16 Carat Gold.

POST-MATCH SEGMENT - Robert Deisseker comes out and has a stare-down with Dragunov. Referees and security get between them before any physical altercation takes place. This was good build to that inevitable showdown.

MANAGER OF THE WINNING TEAM BECOMES THE HEAD OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP BOARD OF DIRECTORS:
Ringkampf (w/Christian Michael Jakobi)(c) vs. David Starr & Jurn Simmons (w/Karsten Beck) - 9/10

Beck, the babyface, has maneuvered heel Jakobi into this situation as payback for Jakobi similarly maneuvering him to put his job as Director of Sports on the line a few months ago.

The heels cut a promo in German before the match. The crowd booed them heavily for it, so I guess it worked. Speaking of things that worked, how about everything that happened between Beck and Jakobi in this match. Also, David Starr's wonderful performance for about five straight minutes of a two-on-one situation. A (pardon the pun) star-making performance from "The Jewish Cannon." This was a match with an extremely hot crowd, some outstanding questions about the interpersonal dynamics of both teams that needed to be answered, and something very tangible on the line... and then the wrestlers were given over half an hour to go out there and deliver the goods, and they sure as hell did. WATCH THIS MATCH!

Final Thoughts
An AWESOME show from wXw. With all of the (well-deserved) attention that started to be paid to various American and British indy groups over the past two years or so, it's quite a shame that wXw isn't getting more attention, because they are fun, exciting, and well-booked enough to fit right in with the top tier of American and British indies. Hopefully their day will come soon.
