WWF TITLE MATCH: “Stone Cold” Steve Austin(c) vs. Kurt Angle- 9.5/10
AMAZING match! Heyman did a good job of explaining why Hebner didn’t count both guys out. I don’t think it is a good reason, but it makes kayfabe sense. One touch I absolutely LOVED was Nick Patrick counting to one before getting up and deciding to DQ Austin. It really gave you the sense that the WCW referee was calling for the DQ for the sake of screwing Kurt Angle, rather than for the sake of upholding the rules.
WCW WORLD TITLE MATCH: Booker T(c) (w/Shane McMahon) vs. The Rock- 7.5/10
Overall, an awesome show from the WWF with awesome wrestling and closing off the show with a big moment in The Rock winning the WCW Title.
