WWE Judgment Day 2002 (5/19/2002)- Nashville, TN

WWE INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH: Eddie Guerrero(c) vs. Rob Van Dam- 6/10
Good opener

WWE WOMEN’S TITLE MATCH: Trish Stratus(c) vs. Stacy Keibler (w/Revered Devon & Deacon Batista)- 2/10.
The match went less than three minutes.

BROCK LESNAR & PAUL HEYMAN vs. THE HARDY BOYZ- 4/10
Perfect for what it was, though.

HANDICAP MATCH: The Big Show & Ric Flair vs. “Stone Cold” Steve Austin- 5.75/10
Not particularly exciting, but the crowd was definitely into this match, and really helped it a lot. I wasn’t fond of the overbooking on the finish.

HAIR VS. HAIR MATCH: Kurt Angle vs. Edge- 9/10
AMAZING match, with a few amazing nearfalls.

HELL IN A CELL MATCH: Triple H vs. Chris Jericho- 9/10
An awesome match, worthy of a Hell In A Cell blow-off. I wasn’t crazy about the finish (it goes against what JR said the rules of the match were back at Armageddon 2000, but after reading Jericho’s book, I understand why they tried it.

WWE WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: Billy & Chuck(c) vs. Rikishi & Rico-3.75/10
Painfully bad booking decision.

WWE UNDISPUTED TITLE MATCH: Hulk Hogan(c) vs. The Undertaker- 6/10
Not acceptable for a main event. I didn’t like the overbooking at all, either.

Overall, a very up and down PPV from the WWE. The good was amazing, but the bad was horrid. Definitely worth seeing, though, because of the two amazing matches.
