EACH MAN’S TAG TEAM PARTNER IS HANDCUFFED TO THE RINGPOST: Kenny King vs. Mark Briscoe- 6/10
I have always hated this gimmick for the following simple reason: If you really want to stop the other guys from interfering, why are you handcuffing them RIGHT NEXT TO THE RING? Why not handcuff each one to a radiator in the back where they are not WITHIN ARM’S REACH OF THE RING.
EACH MAN’S TAG TEAM PARTNER IS HANDCUFFED TO THE RINGPOST: Rhett Titus vs. Jay Briscoe- no rating. Okay segment. Jay frees Mark and they beat Rhett down. Jay takes his belt off and whips Rhett with it, leading to a chant of “PULL YOUR PANTS UP!” After a while, Haas and Benjamin come out to make the save.
FUTURE SHOCK PROMO- good
DAVEY RICHARDS PROMO- as if we thought the Wolves would ever go soft on anybody
THE AMERICAN WOLVES vs. ADAM COLE & KYLE O’REILLY- 8.75/10
An awesome match with an interesting finish, which came off well.
COLEMAN ALEXANDER PROMO- okay
TRUTH MARTINI PROMO- eh
CAPRICE COLEMAN & CEDRIC ALEXANDER vs. CHASE OWENS & MICHAEL ELGIN (w/Truth Martini)- 6.25/10
COLT CABANA vs. CHRIS HERO (w/Shana Hagadorn)- 7/10
I liked seeing Hero go back to the cravate-based stuff.
SHELTON BENJAMIN PROMO- good
THE BRAVADO BROTHERS vs. WRESTLING’S GREATEST TAG TEAM- 3.5/10
Short, and never made you think the Bravados had anything close to a chance.
BRISCOES AND WGTT BRAWL- okay
STEEL CAGE MATCH: Roderick Strong vs. El Generico- 8/10
Awesome match. Both guys looked tough. I popped huge when Truth Martini got what he deserved
Overall, a very good show from ROH, but is entirely skippable, storyline-wise.
