- Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler & Matt Striker is at the commenting table.

- Nice oldschool-shots in the video to build up the concept Survivor Series, and then a good Cena-video pack with The Boss (Springsteen, not Traylor) in the background. Awesome.

- US-champ Daniel Bryan vs. Ted DiBiase.
Title-match. It feels like WWE can't see that Ted and Maryse has zero personal chemistry, but will let nothing destroy their plans to have them as a couple kayfabe. Probably it's also about that they have to shove her into some storyline to keep her on TV. Cole calls Bryan's song a 'nerdy song'. LeBelle-lock countered with a catapult into the corner, and Teddy gets two with a rollup. LeBelle-lock finishes again after 9:58. 'tis all okay, but DiBiase is no Ziggler. 3/5

- The Miz floors Bryan and is just going to start talking when the light gets turned off and on. He teases to cash in the MITB no matter who wins tonight. The fun is that he could easily cash in at the winner between Kane/Edge, which noone would be able to foresee, because the story has always been that he wants the RAW-title. Good promo, where the drunkard looked tense for once.

-Video for John Morrison and Sheamus, with following promo with Sheamus who's going to crush him tonight.

- John Morrison vs. Sheamus.
The story is that Sheamus is a bully and Morrison is the long-haired hero, standing up for his smaller friend Santino. Then it's just the question how Kozlov fits in, he should be able to stand up for Santino himself. Starship Pain is stopped when Sheamus gets him in the back and sets up for a High Cross, Morrison struggles free and ducks a kawada-kick befure he finishes with a nice Flying Chuck and a high knee after 11:13. I guess the feud is over when the face won cleanly, so they'll build Sheamus up again before HHH makes a comeback. 3.25/5

- Backstage: Cena paces around the room and R-Truth shows up and tells him he got a solution, that he by pure accident gets to ringside and knocks out Orton, so Barrett can cover him for three. Cena thinks it's a great idea (sarcasm) but wants to be able to wake up and see himself in the eyes tomorrow.

- IC-champ Dolph Ziggler vs. Kaval.
Title-match. Ziggler tweeted something noble before the match. ''My back is healing just in time to carry another indy hero to ANOTHER show stealing match, you're welcomg for the SUPERSTAR rub, Mr. Peepers.'' Self-confidence is good. Vickie introduces her boyfriend, and Cole instantly starts to call Kaval 'Internet-darling', and shouldn't think he's talented when it was internet geeks who pushed him forward in NXT. After some nearfalls Ziggler rolls Kaval up with a grip of tights for a win after 9:35. Expected a tad better match but it was absolutely not bad. Felt more like Ziggler didn't want to do his best. 3.25/5

- Backstage: Team Del Rio argues with eachother but agrees with aiming their agression against Team Rey instead. If they do, Del Rio promises to buy beer afterwards. This is PG so I'm tipping that it's Bud Lite.

- Survivor Series: Rey Mysterio, Big Show, MVP, Chris Masters & Kofi Kingston) vs. Alberto Del Rio, Jack Swagger, Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntyre & Tyler Reks.
Should've been Rey vs. Del Rio in a threefalls match, but Rey has an infection in his inner ear so they rebooked it so he wouldn't have to be in the ring so much. Cole thinks Del Rio's team is the best in SS history, which you could have differentiating opinions about. Which is what he had. Striker calls Rey 'sparklug', and I don't know how flattering it is to be compared to Bob Holly. Chokeslam finishes Drew - And apparently the match - after 18:13. I thought that Del Rio would sprint in afterwards because he was still in the match, but the feud will probably continue with a rematch at TLC or Royal Rumble. Really entertaining match, and Cody was the match's MVP! 3.75/5.

- Backstage: Orton is tired of talking about Cena, but promises to keep the title eve nif CEna tries to screw him or not.

- WWE Divas-champs Michelle McCool & Layla vs. Natalya.
Titlematch and tag-rules are set. HotShot sets up a Sharpshooter in the middle of the ring after 3:37. Really unexpected. Short but totally alright match, and it was nice to see another title for the family. Lay-Cool attacks afterwards but Beth Phoenix saves before she hugs Natalya and celebrates with her. 2/5

- Video for Edge vs. Kane, and because the video contains just as much Undertaker, I guess the feud will spring to life again when Taker does a comeback. Abit sad that it's not tonight, when he did his WWE-debut on TV at Survivor Series 1990.

- World-champ Kane vs. Edge.
Titlematch. Edge rolls in an empty wheelchair to continue his mindgames with Kane. Kane gets nailed with a spear countered from a tombstone for three after 12:49. But both shoulders were down so the ref rules the match as a tie to set up a rematch at TLC. Feels like a sane solution to create interest for TLC. Kane kicks Edge's butt after the match, but Edge turns and droptoeholds him into the stairs and dunks him into the ringcorner, before he puts him in the wheelchair and drives him through the barricade. 3.5/5

- Backstage: Wade Barrett gets seated at John Cena and reminds him the last time they were in the arena, when Nexus beat Cena down after the match.

- WWE Tag-champs Justin Gabriel & Heath Slater vs. Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov.
Titlematch and the rest of Nexus (minus Wade and the injured) are in. Slater wins with a flatliner after 5:12. Nexus celebrates and the mystery GM messages that NExus are banned from ringside during the main event.

- Same video as in the start of the PPV is shown.

- WWE-champ Randy Orton vs. Wade Barrett.
Titlematch and John Cena is the guest referee. If Barret wins the title Cena is out of Nexus. If Orton retains, then Cena gets fired. RKO finishes after 15:1. Striker: ''HE'S FREE'' Cole: ''He's fired.'' Striker: ''Oh..''. Wellworked match where Orton didn't pull the whole workload but Barret did his part aswell. Maybe not mainevent-level but totally likeable. CEna and Orton cooperates to fight off the Nexus before Cena gives Orton the title and hugs him, as if saying goodbye when he's fired for ever and ever and ever and ever forever. Atleast to New's Year. PPV ends with Cena hugging the cap guy and Michael Cole before leaving. 3/5

FINAL THOUGHTS: Opening match was okay (DiBiase isn't Ziggler, though), even if DiBiase is uninteresting and it didn't reach the same standard as Bryan's latest matches. Morrison-Sheamus was very entertaining with an unexpected winner. Kaval-Ziggler was really good, the elimination match was bteter then I expected, and Rhodes was extremely funny. Divasmatch was totally okay, Edge-Kane wasn't the best match in the world, but it was good enough. Santino-Kozlov-Nexus was entertaining for the short time it got and Orton-Barrett was entertaining even if not mainevent-level.

A very entertaining PPV, even if it'll be forgotten in the depths of your brain, together with german grammar and other stuff you don't remember, a week after you learned it/saw it. No match did really stand out if you look at the years previous matches, but I still think you should see the PPV if you catch a chance. Foour matches got 3 or more and the tag-title match was entertaining for it's length. Good PPV!

Thumbs up!
