WWF Armageddon 2000 (12/10/2000)- Birmingham, AL

SIX PERSON TAG TEAM ELIMINATION MATCH: The Hardy Boyz & Lita vs. The Radicalz (Dean Malenko, Eddie Guerrero, & Perry Saturn) (w/Terri)- 5.5/10
Good opener.

LILLIAN GARCIA INTERVIEWS KURT ANGLE- Kurt was great, as usual.

WWF EUROPEAN TITLE MATCH: William Regal(c) vs. Hardcore Holly- 3.5/10
GREAT pre-match promo by Regal, and a very random-feeling finish.

RIKISHI PROMO- okay.

CHYNA vs. VAL VENIS (w/Ivory)-5/10

VINCE & STEPH BACKSTAGE- okay

UNDERTAKER PRE-TAPED PROMO- this dragged on for WAY too long. There is almost no reason to have ever have a five minute long promo on a PPV, and especially a pre-taped one.

VINCE MCMAHON PROMO- GREAT!

LAST MAN STANDING MATCH: Kane vs. Chris Jericho-6.5/10
A great match marred by a dumb finish. This is the type of finish that you use to have the babyface outsmart the heel and escape punishment in order to continue the feud. This is not the finish for a blow-off. It was also abundantly clear that Kane had more than enough room under there and that he didn’t get hit by any of the barrels.

MICK FOLEY PROMO- okay

FOUR CORNERS MATCH FOR THE WWF WORLD TAG TEAM TITLES: RTC (Bull Buchanan & The Goodfather)(c) (w/Steven Richards) vs. Edge & Christian vs. The Dudley Boyz vs. Road Dogg & K-Kwik- 6/10

TRIPLE H & STEPH BACKSTAGE SEGMENT- decent.

WWF INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH: Billy Gunn(c) vs. Chris Benoit- 5.75/10

JR INTERVIEWS STONE COLD- good

WWF WOMEN’S TITLE MATCH: Ivory(c) vs. Molly Holly vs. Trish Stratus- 1.5/10
As good as they could have done in two minutes. The APA return after the match got a good pop and it was nice to see them send T & A running, but I really, really, really wish this match had gotten more time.

THE ROCK PROMO- very good

HELL IN A CELL MATCH FOR THE WWF TITLE: Kurt Angle(c) vs. Triple H vs. Rikishi vs. The Rock vs. The Undertaker vs. â€"Stone Cold” Steve Austin- 8.25/10
This felt a lot more like a crazy brawl than a Hell in a Cell match and it felt like they really didn’t spend too much time in the cell itself. They told a bunch of nice little separate stories and they made good use of the various issues between the guys in the match.

Overall, this was very much a one-match show. If you can get the Hell in a Cell match on another DVD, get it there.
