ALLISON DANGER vs.LA MALCRIADA- 5.5/10
Good babyface vs. heel match.
YOUNG LIONS CUP MATCH: Maxime Boyer(c) vs. Sal Thomaselli- 5.10
MATT SYDAL vs. HALLOWICKED- 7/10
Another great match.
TAG TEAM GAUNTLET MATCH: The New Jersey All-Stars vs. Shima Xion & Jason Gory (w/Vickie Gambino) vs. Dunn & Marcos vs. Dino & The American Balloon vs. Robbie Ellis & Mitch Ryder vs. Prescription Thugs (Darkness Crabtree & Dr. Cheung) vs. 2.0 Joey Ryan & Excalibur vs. The Colony (Soldier Ant & Worker Ant) vs. The Olsen Twins vs. Larry Sweeney & The Sharecropper vs. Player Uno & Create-A-Wrestler vs. Scott Lost & Chris Bosh vs. Fire Ant & Equinox vs. Crossbones & Hydra (w/UltraMantis Black) vs. Cheech & Cloudy vs. the Iron Saints (Brandon & Vito Thomaselli)- 4.75/10
Standard CHIKARA tag gauntlet combination of wrestling and hi-jinks, but it dragged on for WAY too long. I was ready for this thing to end about six eliminations before it actually did.
MECHA MUMMY vs. MAKUJIN KEN-DUD!
The fans in the arena were into this, but I found this to be the most boring thing possible. This was people wearing costume that were so bulky that all they could do was walk slowly and throw punches. The first guy’s ring entrance alone took two minutes because the costume made him walk so slow.
SARA DEL REY vs. DAIZEE HAZE- 4/10
NOBUTAKA MORIBE vs. MASAMUNE- 6.25/10
CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI vs. RICOCHET- 7.5/10
GREAT big man vs. little man story, and Ricochet looked the toughest SOB in the world at the end of this.
KING OF TRIOS TOURNAMENT FINALS- 7.75/10
A great match, but it still felt a bit underwhelming for a King of Trios Final.
Overall, a good show from CHIKARA, but it definitely has some very slow spots. The first forty-five minutes and the last forty-five minute are GREAT, though.
