TYLER BLACK & THE BRISCOE BROTHERS PROMO- good.
RHETT TITUS vs. â€"SKULLKRUSHER†RASCHE BROWN- 5/10
Very fun.
SHANE HAGADORN PROMO- very good
PICK 6 SERIES MATCH: Kenny King(5) vs. Tyson Dux- 6/10
Decent showing from Dux, but nothing that shouts ‘SIGN ME NOW!â€
KEVIN STEEN & STEVE CORINO vs. PEE WEE & PLAYER DOS (w/Player Uno)- 5.5/10
Steen takes Uno out before the match, so Pee Wee was forced to wrestle a good chunk of this match on his own. After the match, Steen and Corino attacked Uno and tore his sling off but Dos dived onto them to make the save.
PETEY WILLIAMS PROMO- Petey couldn’t even remember which Glory By Honor his biggest ROH match was on... which is funny because he was only on one Glory By Honor, and it was the only one (at that point) that had ever had a tag-line.
AUSTIN ARIES vs. PETEY WILLIAMS- 6.25/10
A very good match until the last two minutes, which took the awesome heelishness of Aries using the Canadian Destroyer and pissed all over the move as a whole by having Petey kick out at one (that’s right, Petey killed his own finisher), then had Aries get the pin using the ropes in such a way that it was almost impossible for the ref not to have seen it.
After the match Petey attacks Aries, hits him with a Canadian Destroyer, then pins him with a boot on the chest.
COLT CABANA & EL GENERICO vs. THE HOUSE OF TRUTH (w/Truth Martini)- 6.5/10
Very good match. The stuff with Truth Martini was a lot of fun. After the match, Steve Corino came out and cut a good promo hyping up his match with Cabana tomorrow night.
PICK 6 SERIES MATCH: Roderick Strong(1) vs. Kenny Omega- 6/10
Roddy dominated WAY too much of this match for me to rate this any higher. Kenny sold well, though, and between that the viciousness of Roddy’s offense, it is almost impossible not to feel bad for Kenny while watching this match.
TYLER BLACK & THE BRISCOE BROTHERS vs. THE AMERICAN WOLVES & CHRIS HERO (w/Shane Hagadorn)- 8.5/10
Awesome match, although I don’t agree with Hero getting pinned by the Briscoes going into the big tag title match against the Briscoes in just two weeks. After the match, Jay Briscoe tells Davey to get his â€"no belt-havin’ ass†out of the ringside area.
RHETT TITUS & RASCHE BROWN BACKSTAGE- fun.
Overall, a decent show from ROH. It is really entirely a one-match show, though, and is also entirely skippable, story-wise. You won't be disappointed if you watch it, but if you are short on cash, you can skip it without missing anything important.
