2.0 PROMO- getting spanked for getting ice cream on your new shorts? It must have sucked to grow up in Jagged’s house! The promo was enjoyable, though, especially because it ends with â€"the Ice Creams will get their just desserts.â€

LOS ICE CREAMS vs. 2.0- short but fun comedy match (although I have to agree with UltraMantis that having both guys in on the pin is quite unfair).
EDDIE KINGSTON PROMO- AMAZING! Kingston always brings such great emotion in his promos. Would have been promo of the year any other year, but unfortunately for Eddie, this was 2007, and he had to compete with Nigel McGuinness’ tirade at the fans from ROH Final Battle 2007 and Jimmy Jacobs â€"Prom Night†promo from ROH All-Star Extravaganza III.
EDDIE KINGSTON vs. RICOCHET- no rating. AMAZING segment.
King beats the crap out of Ricochet. When Ricochet manages to fight back and put some offense together, King cuts him off with a blatant low blow. He then grabs a Hallowicked mask from the merch table and puts it on Ricochet, then beats the crap out of him.
SHAYNE HAWKE PROMO- good
SHAYNE HAWKE vs. BILLY ROC- 4.75/10
A lot of stallingin the beginning, but they eventually got to some decent stuff.
SARA DEL REY PROMO- kind of bland, but it gave the match a bit of context.
2 OUT OF 3 FALLS MATCH: Sara Del Rey vs. Daizee Haze-5.25/10
Seeing Daizee as the heel and Sara as the babyface is an odd switch for me, but I can’t deny that it worked.
THE COLONY vs. LES TRES DELIRIOSOS- 7/10
Mommy, I’m scared. There are THREE Deliriouses (Delirii?) running around. On commentary, Chikarason referred to them as â€"Delirious, Deliriousito, & Deliriousito-er.â€
This match was CHIKARA in a nutshell: fun, comedy, and great trios action.
PAYASO DEL FUTUO vs. LA PARKITA ORIGINAL- DUD!
La Parkita is a mini, while Payaso is a lame rip-off of Doink. La Parkita calls out this random chick to dance with him, and they do WAY too much grinding for a CHIKARA show. Then we got a dull match that just consisted of the mini doing a bunch of headscissors before Parkita’s dancing partner cmae back and she started humping his leg while he motorboated her. Yes. In CHIKARA. In the Immortal words of Larry Sweeney â€"well… he’s not coming back.â€
CHIKARA YOUNG LIONS CUP MATCH: Chuck Taylor(c) vs. Drake Younger-6.5/10
After the match Drake cuts a promo saying that he will be back and he will be going after the Young Lions Cup.
CHRIS HERO & CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI PROMO- great.
CHRIS HERO & CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI vs. EL PANTERA & LINCE DORADO- 6.75/10
Lince looked great, Claudio looked strong, and seeing a legend like El Pantera using the CHIKARA Special was very cool.
MIKE QUACKENBUSH PROMO- AWESOME!
NWA WORLD JR. HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: Mike Quackenbush(c) vs. Black Tiger IV- 8/10
Awesome mat-wrestling and some awesome nearfalls.
GRAN AKUMA & ICARUS PROMO- great
THE BRISCOE BROTHERS vs. F.I.S.T. (Gran Akuma & Icarus)- 8/10
While not exactly a dream match, this is pretty close to being one, and it was suitably awesome. Icarus does a great job of playing a role he rarely gets to play, that of the… um… wrestler… in peril (I refuse to call Icarus a babyface! I just won’t do it!), the Briscoes looked like beasts, but Akuma didn’t do too much here. After the match, Akuma and Icarus almost come to blows, with Akuma walking off alone, without his half of the titles.
STEVE THE TURTLE WEINER RECAPS THE SHOW FOR US- this seems like the sort of thing that you should put out on the internet for people who didn’t see the show, not the sort of thing you put on the DVD itself.
BONUS MATCH: The Southern Saints and UltraMantis Black vs. Jigsaw, Shane Storm, Tim Donst, & Mos-Cow- 6/10
AWESOME COMMENTARY MOMENT:
UltraMantis Black says that Eddie Kingston has â€"what some might call ‘anger management issues.†Leonard F. Chikarason replies â€"Issues? He’s got the whole series and collection at home.â€
Overall, a great sow from CHIKARA. There might be a bit too much comedy for some people, but if you just skip the dud, the show is enjoyable from top to bottom and the second half of the show has a lot of great action.
