PAUL LONDON vs. KEVIN STEEN- 7.5/10
THE YOUNG BUCKS vs. CHUCK TAYLOR & JOHNNY GARGANO- 8/10
Oodles of crazy stuff here and some absolutely ridiculous kicking from the Bucks. More than usual. A great PWG debut for Gargano.
EDDIE EDWARDS vs. JAY LETHAL- 8/10
Lots of great reversals and just plain awesome wrestling.
AR FOX & SAMURAY DEL SOL vs. RICH SWANN & RICOCHET- 7/10
Lots of crazy athletic flippy-stuff.
RODERICK STRONG vs. TRENT?- 7.25/10
THE UNBREAKABLE F’N MACHINES vs. FUTURE SHOCK- 7.5/10
One of the kickouts in particular seemed a bit excessive (you’ll know which one when I’m talking about when you see it), especially considering that the finish seemed to be building towards Cole vs. Elgin. Otherwise a great match.
#1 CONTENDERSHIP GUERRILLA WARFARE MATCH: Drake Younger vs. Sami Calihan- 8.5/10
Blood and thumbtacks I am perfectly fine with, but staple-guns cross my squeamishness line. This match was just plain violent. They did some stuff with thumbtacks I hadn’t seen before, but then again I don’t watch too many matches with thumbtacks involved. Definitely and awesome match, but you need to know what your limits are.
Being an asshole, Adam Cole jumps the winner after the match.
Overall, an absolutely awesome show from PWG. Awesome wrestling up and down the card.
AWESOME COMMENTARY MOMENT:
1. Sami Calihan: Is that okay? Can I get drunk before the main event?
Excalibur: If I were you, I’d be taking PCP right now.
