ELIMINATION TAG TEAM MATCH: The Bravado Brothers vs. Jigsaw & Fire Ant vs. Andrew Everett & Caleb Conley- 6.5/10
People REALLY hate the Bravados. Jigsaw turned on Fire Ant after the match, calling him â€"dead weight.â€
RICOCHET vs. ANTHONY NESE (w/Mr. A & â€"Secretary†Su Yung)- 6.5/10
TRENT BARETTA vs. RICH SWANN- 8/10
THE YOUNG BUCKS vs. MASAAKI MOCHIZUKI & A.R. FOX- 7.25/10
POST-MATCH SEGMENT- The Young Bucks cut a promo putting over the Bravado Brothers, admitting that they were the better team last night, but they say that they want their rematch right now. The Bravados come out and say that all that they have ever wanted is respect. The Bucks offer them a handshake… and the Bravados kick them in nuts. The Bravados hit one of the Bucks with the tag title belt nad tell them â€"F*ck your rematch.†An absolutely awesome segment.
ROAST OF JOHNNY GARGANO- Gargano talks about how great he is, then allows the fans to speak. They insult him and say that they want him to lose the belt. Garnago then asks any wrestlers in the back to come out and speak about him. Chuck Taylor says he is embarrassed to have ever teamed with Gargano. Ricochet says that Gargano is ducking him and that he will take the title from him after he finishes dealing with Tony Nese & Su Yung. Then Rich Swann comes out and plays a very unflattering song about Gargano on his guitar. The segment was amusing, but I could have just as well have done without it.
OPEN THE FREEDOM GATE TITLE MATCH: Johnny Gargano(c) vs. Chris Hero- 8/10
Hero is Hero. The match was awesome, though I really didn’t like the ref stoppage finish. It almost left me with that feeling like it was a screwy finish just because Hero didn’t actually get pinned or submit. Hero cut a good babyface promo after the match saying that he would be back and would work hard, and win championships. Then AR Fox came out and said that Hero could have a shot at his Evolve Title any time he wanted.
Great show from DGUSA.
