NJPW G1 Climax 23: Day 6 (8/7/2013)- Sendai, Japan

BLOCK B: Kota Ibushi vs. Shelton Benjamin- 6.75/10
Great opener. Shelton was a great heel, not taking Kota seriously in the beginning… and then Kota started kicking back. Very cool finish, too.

BLOCK B: Toru Yano vs. Karl â€"Machine Gun” Anderson- 6.25/10
Yano is normally a heel, but against a member of the Bullet Club, he was playing the babyface, which made him winning by cheating feel weird. Otherwise, though, this was a decent brawl.

BLOCK A: Tomohiro Ishii vs. Davey Boy Smith Jr.- 7/10

BLOCK B: Minoru Suzuki vs. Yujiro Takahashi- 6/10

BLOCK A: Togi Makabe vs. Lance Archer- 5/10

BLOCK B: Tetsuya Naito vs. Hiroyoshi Tenzan- 6/10

BLOCK A: Satoshi Kojima vs. Prince Devitt (w/Bad Luck Fale)- 6.5/10
I enjoyed the overbooking, but other might not. I didn't like the fact that Kojima stopped selling his arm once the overbooking started, though. A good match, but it could have been better.

BLOCK A: Kazuchika Okada vs. Katsuyori Shibata- 5.5/10
Should have gotten more time.

BLOCK B: Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Yuji Nagata- 7.25/10
I was disappointed by this because I enjoy both guy's mat-wrestling ability much more than I do their strikes and this match was almost entirely build around strikes.

BLOCK A: Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Hirooki Goto- 7.25/10

An okay show from New Japan. I was hoping for more out of a lot of these matches.
