Death Before Dishonor VIII:
Show starts off with Cheech and Cloudy of Up In Smoke making there way to the ring then El Generico runs past them and demands his match with Kevin Steen RIGHT NOW Steve Corino comes out and says Steen is all about the main event so he won't wrestle in the opener Steen then defies Corino by running into the ring while Corino's yells NOT YET to which Steen replies saying STEVE IT'S FINE THIS END NOW!!!: Great segment to build this match up as a true grudge match with so much hatred they can't contain it any longer
Kevin Steen vs El Generico: ***3/4 BEST OPENER EVER!!! They really made you feel the hatred for each other while still leaving more for a future blow off because we all know this won't be the end
Up In Smoke (Cheech And Cloudy) vs All Night Xpress (Rhett Titus and Kenny King): ***1/4 Nice cool down from the amazing opener that did its job of making ANX look tough and made a team that had potential to be big 1 day look good by getting some good offense on ANX
Kenny King announces he and Rhett are now under the Extreme Management of Austin Aries and introduces him for his match up next
Austin Aries cuts a great promo where he says he tried to apologize to Delirious but he insisted on revenge so he will take his apologies back
Austin Aries vs Delirious: *** Good storyline advancement altho I don't like ANX was just able to walk out to the ring and attack Delirious without facing repercussions when they were supposed to be barred from ringside it's things like that that make the authority figures look like they're incompetent at enforcing the rules

Eddie Edwards vs Tyson Dux vs Shawn Daivari vs Colt Cabana vs Steve Corino vs Roderick Strong: *** I didn't like how in the 1st match Eddie Edwards got beat by a guy who is nowhere near his level in Tyson Dux and then get beat in a dirty finish by Shawn Daivari but after that it made Colt look tough by taking out Daivari in less than a minute than had some good storyline advancement with Colt rolling up Corino then Corino attacking Cabana so Roderick could run in and get a near fall off the attack and then it also helped push Roderick'salliance with Truth and get Roderick over as a heel
During The Intermission El Generico and Kevin Steen brawl around ringside with Generico attempting to murder Steen so Corino comes out to help and they get the advantage on Generico until Cabana comes in to even the odds then while security is trying to separate them Generico hits a brainbuster on Steen and chokes Steen out with Bobby Cruises tie: I enjoyed this it gave off a vibe that this feud was far from over and given this was less than a week after Daniel Bryan had been fired from the WWE for choking the ring announcer with his tie Generico attempting to choke Steen to death with the ring announcers tie was awesome
Kenny Omega vs Christopher Daniels: ***3/4 I loved this match it was so different than what you normally see in ROH these days it was a flat out technical wrestling match that told a great story and didn't have a ton of highspots but the ones it did have were spaced out well and meant something
NO DQ ROH World Tag Team Title Match: Kings Of Wrestling vs The Briscoe Brothers: ****1/4 They start out announcing The Briscoes couldn't make it through customs to be at the show in time but it turns out to be a ruse because while the KOW are mockingly thanking Canada for not letting the Briscoes' into the country they jump them from behind now while I don't like Faces jumping the Heels the Faces are Anti Heroes who want to murder the KOW so I'll let it go
THE MATCH WAS VIOLENT A HELL!!! Even without a million weapon shots they made you feel the hate and had a very brutal brawl between 4 guys who you felt were more concerned with killing each other than winning
ROH World Title Match Tyler Black vs Davey Richards: ****3/4 MATCH OF THE F***ING YEAR!!! GO OUT OF YOUR WAY TO SEE THIS MATCH THESE GUYS GO ALL OUT IN AN ABSOLUTE WAR FOR 35 MINUTES IN 105 DEGREE HEAT TRUST ME IF YOU LOVE HARD HITTING MATCHES WHERE TWO GUYS LAVE IT ALL IN THE RING THIS IS A MATCH YOU NEED TO SEE!!!!!
Afterwards Davey puts Tyler over as the better man to which Tyler thanks Davey for the great match and then thanks the crowd for coming out for a great show
Overall: 9.5/10 This is 1 of my top 5 ROH shows of all time if you are an ROH fan this is 1 show you would be crazy not to get
