ROH Glory By Honor IX:

Show starts with a video package on the buildup of Double Chain Match between El Generico and Cole Cabana vs Steve Corino and Kevin Steen Wrestling's Greatest Tag team vs Kings Of Wrestling and Tyler Black vs Roderick Strong good package that sets up the big matches and makes you want to see them

Jay Briscoe vs Kenny King: **1/2 Decent opener

Mark Briscoe vs Rhett Titus:**3/4 about the same as the opener only a little better

Video Package for Ballz Mahoney/Grizzly Redwood vs The Embassy: HOW THE F**K IS THIS THE ONLY MATCH ON THE SHOW WITH A VIDEO PACKAGE TO SET IT UP???!!!

Ballz Mahoney and Grizzly Redwood vs The Embassy(Erick Stevens and Necro Butcher): **1/2 As good of a match that has both Ballz Mahoney and Necro Butcher that no one cares about due to no one caring about this feud at all

Double Chain Match: El Generico and Colt Cabana vs Kevin Steen and Steve Corino: ***3/4 Great match I actually enjoyed the use of the chain to tie Cabana to the ropes and teasing Generico fighting back to free him I also enjoyed Steve Corino bringing his son out it showed that this feud was so personal Corino's son was willing to put himself in danger to help them

Aftermath: Steen and Generico continue fighting and Generico sets up for the Super Brainbuster but Steve Corino stops it Generico knocks him off the apron and Steen takes the advantage to rip El Generico's mask off to which he then makes hit T-Shirt come alive by putting the mask on a chair and painting "MR WRESTLING" on the back of the chair in Corino's blood

During Intermission Jim Cornette interviews Davey Richards to which Davey announces he's not retiring and his goal is to win the ROH World Title ASAP: BEST INTERMISSION EVER!!!

ROH TV Title Match Eddie Edwards vs Shawn Daivari: *** Enjoyable match but nothing too special

Austin Aries vs Christopher Daniels: ***1/2 Great match both told a great story and both did well at doing some fun spots without over doing it

Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team (Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas) vs Kings Of Wrestling (Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli): **** Great match that lived up to its billing as a Dream Tag Match and going into this match there was alot of doubt if WGTT could still go given they hadn't teamed in a couple years and when they were considered the best team in the WWE the WWE didn't put as much interest in the tag division as ROH had at the time but WGTT definitely proved they could hang with 1 of the best teams in the world in this match

ROH World Championship Match: Tyler Black vs Roderick Strong: ***3/4 Great match that I feel would've been better with more time and without the over booking but still very good with a nice moment with a guy who's been 1 of ROH's most loyal workers winning the belt

Aftermath: The fands chant THANK YOU TYLER! to which he then flips them off as he leaves then Homicide Returns and gets right in Roddy's face as the feed cuts out good stuff that sets up a future match between Homicide and Roderick for the belt

Overall Rating: 8/10 Great show with some great storyline stuff a great hardcore match a good technical match between Daniels vs Aries a great moment in Roderick winning the belt and a great dream tag match between WGTT vs KOW
