ROH Global Wars 2014 Review:
Opening Video Package: Good if you went into this show not knowing anything about it you would know 2 important things after watching this 1. The Main event in Kevin Steen vs Adam Cole for the ROH World Title and 2. You'd see big stars from New japan in a few of the matches

ACH vs Michael Bennett: **3/4 Good opener ACH is a guy I always find exciting and Bennett's an amazing heel as well and it worked. Also when Bennett speared Maria on the apron I la: Roderickughed when Corino screamed "WHY DOES BENNETT HAVE TO HURT PEOPLE EVERY TIME IN Toronto" referencing Bennett breaking Mike Mondo's ankle in 2012 and injuring BJ Whitmer's neck last year

Michael Elgin vs Takaaki Watanabe: **1/2 For what it was which was a showcase for Elgin to get some momentum before his title shot next week this was great

3 Way Tag Match reDRagon (Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish) vs The Briscoe Brother's (Jay and Mark) vs The Decade (Jimmy Jacobs and BJ Whitmer): *** Fun action with some nice dives that helped the Briscoe's look strong going into there IWGP Tag Title match next week with Gun & Gallows and kept reDRagon from looking weak because they didn't lose either

Roderick Strong vs Cedric Alexander: ***1/4 Really good match I liked Roddy calling Cedric out immediately and Cedric rushing down and fighting immediately it put over these 2 wanted to fight bad. It had some good fast paced hard hitting action as well and helped tie there feud up for a third match
Post Match: The Decade attacks Cedric and finishes with Roderick doing his End of Heartache Backbreaker onto a few set up chairs instead of his knees. Good stuff that helped get Roddy his heat back and set up Cedric and Roddy's match at Best In The World

3 Way Tag Match for the IWGP Jr Heavyweight Tag Team Titles The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) vs Time Splitters (Kushida and Alex Shelley) vs Forever Hooligans (Rocky Romero and Alex Koslov): **** AWESOME! I'm a HUGE Young Bucks mark so you can guarantee I'll give any match they're in that goes at least 10 minutes at least a ***1/2 rating and this was all action for 12 minutes. Also Time Splitters were awesome as well and Forever Hooligans were Forever Hooligans which I have no problem with either (Also now I want to know more about that mysterious story Corino mentioned that took place in Japan and caused him to have heat with Koslov)

Shinsuke Nakamura and Jado vs Hiroshi Tanahashi and Jushin "Thunder" Liger: *** I'm a huge fan of Liger and Nakamura and Tanahashi (along with Okada) are in my top 3 anywhere right now so even if it's only on DVD it's a treat to see them wrestle in America and the action was decent as well but it was obvious they were saving up for next week at War Of The Worlds (Also I liked when Corino brought up that Tanahashi originally became a star due to being stabbed by an insane ex girlfriend)

4 Corner Survival for the ROH Word TV Title Jay Lethal vs Tommaso Ciampa vs Matt Taven vs Silas Young: ***1/4 This match was not long in fact it was the shortest non extended squash on the card but it was all action and did not slow down at all

Kazuchika Okada and Gedo vs Bullet Club (Karl Andrson and AJ Styles): *** Read my comments on the Nakamura/Jado vs Tanahashi/Liger match and put them here for this 1 too
Post Match: Elgin and Styles have a staredown and Elgin says he wants AJ's IWGP Heavyweight Title while Okada stares them both down as if to say he wants the winner

ROH World Title Match Adam Cole vs Kevin Steen: ****1/4 This was a great match the only thing keeping me from going to 4 1/2 stars is the beginning with Steen low blowing Cole on all 4 posts but other than that this was a great match that told a great story of Steen trying to win his title back in his hometown and where he won it only to fail in the to Adam Cole

Overall Rating: 7.5/10 Good show the main event IWGP Junior Tag Title match and Roddy vs Cedric and appearances from Liger, Tanahashi, Okada and Nakamura make this recommendable but the rest of the show was mainly decent to average unless you really wanna see the 3 matches I said just get War Of The Worlds (if it's in stock I've tried to buy that show 3 times but it sells so fast it's already out of stock every time I try to get it)
