In a big rebound from recent weeks, Monday's Raw scored the show's biggest TV audience since before the start of the most recent NFL season.

Buoyed by a first hour that broke three million viewers for the first time since last August, Raw had an average audience of 2.771 million viewers, the largest total since September 3, 2018.

The number topped the Raw after the Royal Rumble, which did 2.70 million viewers.

It's possible that the late afternoon tease of Ricochet, Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa, and Aleister Black debuting helped the ratings rebound. There was a big drop of over 20 percent from hour one to hour three, with that being one of the ten highest drops in history.

Monday's Raw also got a bump from taking place the night after Elimination Chamber.

In a relatively weak night for cable TV, Raw finished fifth for the night in overall viewership and topped the 18-49 demo with an average rating of 0.96, nearly 50 percent higher than second-place Love and Hip Hop.

Year-over-year, Raw was down 15 percent, a little better than in recent weeks. Last year's President's Day show did a big number as well -- but not nearly the 12 percent increase over the previous week that this episode did.

The three hours for this week's show were:

8 p.m. 3.05 million viewers
9 p.m. 2.84 million viewers
10 p.m. 2.43 million viewers
