The first Raw after the two week period of WrestleMania and the Superstar Shake-up, the first real test of a normal show in a few weeks, did 2.37 million viewers, the lowest number since January 7, which was still against football.
The number was down 11 percent from last week and 24 percent from last year's show on the same week.
It was the lowest number in the modern history of the show outside of football season, with a massive second hour turnoff after an okay first hour.
It's a terrible sign because traditionally the show starts a decline this time of year, until June, with decreases as the NBA playoffs get into the later rounds.
The two NBA games last night saw the early game, against most of Raw, do 2.81 million viewers, while the later game, which went against the AJ Styles vs. Baron Corbin main event, did 2.96 million viewers.
Raw was sixth for the night on cable, losing only to the NBA and news shows hosted by Tucker Carlson (2.89 million viewers), Rachel Maddow (2.62 million), and Hannity (2.92 million).
As far as the first-to-third hour drops, they were 18.5 percent in women 18-49, 14.7 percent in men 18-49, 6.3 percent in girls 12-17, and 33.1 percent in boys 12-17. The latter figure is an unprecedented level of teenage boys tuning out during the show.
The three hours were:
8 p.m. 2.68 million viewers
9 p.m. 2.30 million viewers
10 p.m. 2.15 million viewers

For what it's worth, Firefly Fun House is trending on YouTube. Almost 1.5 million views in under 24 hours, I think it got up to 10th...

Yeah... but the guy was actually part of an awesome match earlier, and we already know AJ is the guy who carries him best, so no one should have tuned out for a #1 contendership match between those two.

people don't care about match quality, they just don't want to see Corbin main event. Look at the ratings, as soon as they know Corbin is main eventing, they're gone.Big Red Machine wrote: ↑Apr 23rd, '19, 21:19 Yeah... but the guy was actually part of an awesome match earlier, and we already know AJ is the guy who carries him best, so no one should have tuned out for a #1 contendership match between those two.
