Riddle to miss weekend NXT house shows due to mild arm infection

A mild arm infection is preventing Matt Riddle from wrestling at this weekend's NXT house shows.

Riddle announced the news on his social media accounts today: "I’ve been pulled from all the shows this weekend due to a mild arm infection which saddens me greatly, but real talk I got my new creature skateboard from CCS yesterday and I’m gonna go tear it up at the local skate park"

NXT has both road and Florida house show tours this weekend, and Riddle was advertised for the road tour. It begins in Omaha, Nebraska tonight and has stops in Davenport, Iowa on Friday, Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Saturday, and St. Paul, Minnesota on Sunday.

Riddle challenged for the NXT North American Championship at TakeOver: New York earlier this month, losing to Velveteen Dream. Riddle was part of the NXT episode that aired last night, interrupting Adam Cole during a photoshoot and trying to further tension between Cole and Roderick Strong. Riddle then helped neutralize Undisputed Era in Johnny Gargano's match against Strong.
