At least John Cena didn't win the title again. But that Wrestlemania sucked overall.

this years WM didn't live up to ANY of the hype; kinda disappointing.

Punk v. Orton was good; I thought ALL the other matches would be better than they were, tho. And what happened to the US Title match?

I was thinking more along the lines of Summerslam. Those two need a bigger stage than a stupid gimmick ppv. I think it'll likely be Miz vs Cena II at Extreme Rules.

It was turned into a Non-Title lumberjack match before the show. Then a riot broke out, and Teddy Long made a battle royal, where The Great Khali won.

I popped in midway through the Triple H/Undertaker match, which I enjoyed, but it was downhill from there. That main event was gawd awful. They should have closed with Triple H and Taker.

I can not conceive a scenario where any part of this could be interpreted as a good idea in any way.

the thing I didn't like about the HHH v. Taker match is that it took about 40mins of the show and there was only about ten minutes of actual action. Most of that much was them laying in a heap or slowly (VERY slowly) making it obvious what they were gonna do. All the photo-ops and melodrama really made it suck for me; I feel like they've given us almost the same match four damn years in a row....

Fair enough. Keep in mind I had to go take care of something at my restaurant tonight and I've been looking forward to WM all week, finally tuning in as late as I did, I could have popped in at the second The Great Khali was winning a battle royal and been all; "Whoooooooooohoooooooooooo! WRESTLEMANIA!!!!!!! This is awesome!!!!!" I had my mark goggles on :-B

Never saw WM but I read all ur posts here and from what I gathered, you guys were really impressed with just 2 matches: Rhodes/Mysterio and Orton/Punk

I actually liked a lot of the actual wrestling this year, although I hated a lot of the booking.

It definitely should have been better. Del Rio should have won. The guy loses his title match, the babyfaces smash up his car because they're jerks and he cries over it?! Talk about burying a heel!! X(

Or burying a babyface. It looks to me like Edge & Christian are the heels now (this isn't what WWE is doing, but if you only watched this match, you would think that E&C are the heels).
