Should TNA Bring Back the 6-Sided Ring Full Time?

Post by womenwrestlerfan » May 28th, '11, 12:13

Hey guys,

It's been over a year since Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff arrived in TNA and we've seen alot of changes and the one in particular was the return of the 4-Sided Ring that was used during the Asylum Days and we also saw the Walkthrough that has been used in the NWA/WCW Starrcade as well as the Clash of the Champions

But there are some people and fans in particular that are not too thrilled on TNA getting rid of the 6-Sided Ring

The 6-Sided Ring is what separated TNA from other Wrestling Organizations (NWA, WWE, ROH, The Indies, etc.)

The 6-Sided Ring has also gave us the 6-Sides of Steel

But there were some who were not too fond of the 6-Sided Ring, especially Former Wrestlers such as The Honky Tonk Man, Lance Storm and Jake "The Snake" Roberts

But there were news that the 6-Sided Ring will return for one night only @ Destination X this Summer

and so, I ask you all this:

Should TNA & IMPACT WRESTLING Bring Back the 6-Sided Ring Full Time?

That's the Question!

Please Debate on this

Screw them, they don't even wrestle anymore. A good wrestler can perform the same in a 4 sided ring, a 6 sided ring, an 8 sided ring, and even without the ring.

I think TNA should definitely bring back the 6sided ring. I'm not just saying that I like it, but because there used to be a definite reason why TNA was considered as the real Alternative to WWE's Sports Entertainment, you could tune in to any TNA show and see the 6 sided ring, the X Division, and all those wrestlers that had decided not to go to WWE and you could feel there was something special about that show.

I think that they should, but at this point, the best thing to do would be to bring it back in an angle.

I have booked this multiple times in the past. The first thing that needs to happen is that Hogan and Bischoff continue to poop on the X-division, and elminate it by not giving X-Division guys any TV time at all, and they also take Foley out, physically injuring him.

Some variation of having a match pitting an Immortal team (Matt, Bubba, Gunner, Abyss, and someone else, optimally Jeff Hardy) vs. Team TNA (AJ, Beer Money, Daniels, Kazarian), while hyping up their "mysterious backer." The stip of the match is that the winning team gets control of TNA, and if Team TNA loses, the entire X-Division, as well as anyone who has ever held that belt, aside from Abyss, is fired. Have Immortal guys keep trying to interfere, almost conting the babyfaces the match, and amking it impossible for them to get any offense going until the X-Division guys come out and chase them away. When everything clears away, Jeff Jarrett comes out and turns babyface, hitting Gunner with an El Kabong. Then AJ hits a Spiral Tap and Team TNA wins, with Jarrett revealed as the mysterious backer.

Jarrett has now finally regained control of the company that he built, with no Hogan, Bischoff, Foley, or Dixie to screw it up and push it away from its roots.

That's too clever.

It's a good one, but I don't know if that's a good idea and that's not exactly what I had in mind

X-Division vs. Immortal?

I don't think that's gonna draw, but that's me

I would rather just have Foley say, we are gonna bring back the 6-Sided Ring and tick off Hogan, Bischoff and Jarrett

I also don't think that I would pick Jarrett as the Mysterious Back-Up

But like I said, good one, but I don't think that's gonna work, IMO

I never said X-Division vs. Immortal. I said Fortune vs. Immortal. The X-Division would just do one run in. An important run in, but still just one run in.

If not Jarrett, who would you have as Fortune's mysterious backer?

And TNA is doing the X-Division vs. Immortal right now. Do you think that is working?

It's a fantasy booking. There is no "wait and see" who it is. The question is
