Joey Styles. He always got over the important things, was a wrestling encyclopedia, told the story, and was entertaining while doing so.

It's a tough call between Jim Ross, Gordon Solie, and Joey Styles.

My heart forces me to go with Styles.

I'm torn between JR and Styles, but I'm gonna have to go for JR, because he's the voice I grew up with

Definitely Joey Styles... no one else has called PPVs solo... hasn't been done before him & hasn't been done since!

Not true at all. Gargiulo has done it many times, as well as many others on the independent circuit.

He's one of the most overrated in the history of our sport.

Joey Styles easily. He kind of overdid the "OH MY GOD!!!", but at least he wasn't going crazy every time one of his favourite wrestlers came on screen.

Also, Coach wasn't too bad. He was a way better heel announcer than Michael Cole could ever be.

I don't think he overdid it at all. They include all of those moments where he does say "Oh my god" more than any others in like video packages and the matches you normally would see or look up to specifically watch, but if you watch full shows and stuff, you'll notice that he never said it more than once or twice a night, which isn't bad at all. It was the same thing with John House saying "SOMEONE CALL 911!" or Eric Gargulio saying something stupid like "HELLO SAN DIEGO!" or "EVERYONE OUT OF THE POOL!"

I'd like to give a shout out to Mike Quackenbush as a commentator. He really makes whatever you're watching feel like a sport, and if you watch some older CHIKARA stuff with him on commentary, he keeps a straight face throughout all of the antics, not matter how ridiculous. It's hilarious, and he's really damn good at what he does. I love the fact that he calls every move by its proper name, including all of these obscure submission and indy-tastic impact moves that nobody has ever seen or heard of. Go watch old CHIKARA DVD's, you'll see what I mean.

Can't believe I'm the first one mentioning CM Punk as a damn good commentator. He definitely has a set job once his in-ring days are over.

Having been watching FCW and NXT recently, I am really growing to appreciate William Regal as a commentator. He's not the best (I can't really pick, though I'm biased towards JR), but he's definitely up there. He's kind of a mixture of dry humor, interesting wrestling history and unique perspective.

If this were 8-10 years ago I'd vote JR and King.

Now I kinda favor Styles, JR, but I do definitely like Regal commentating on FCW. He's great on color.
