OPENING SEGMENT- decent. It felt like Sting was working the crowd a little too hard, but if that is all I have to complain about in a segment on Impact, that is a huge win for everyone.

ANGELINA LOVE PROMO- okay

AJ STYLES vs. GUNNER (w/Ric Flair)- 3/10. AJ loses in 4 minutes after a DDT. More nothing from Daniels and Kaz. Daniels controls Kaz. We get it.

MAGNUS PROMO AND CONFRONTATION BETWEEN THE TAG TEAMS- okay

BULLY RAY & STING BACKSTAGE- bad

MAGNUS vs. CRIMSON- 2/10. Crimson beats Magnus in a minute and a half. How the hell are we possibly supposed to take Magnus and Joe seriously as a threat to Morgan & Crimson if Magnus can’t even last 90 seconds. Even the post-match beatdown doesn’t save face for them.

EY STUFF- the whole thing with the caterer was a waste of time. The ODB stuff wasn’t enjoyable, but it did its job.

GARRETT BISCHOFF VIDEO PACKAGE- pretty bad, as far as training montages in wrestling go. As for who his trainer is, it is pretty obvious that it will be Hogan.

STEEL CAGE MATCH: Mickie James vs. Madison Rayne- 5.25/10. The match they should have been given the time to have back at Lockdown 2011

AUSTIN AIRES PROMO ABOUT HIS UPCOMING PROMO- AWESOME!

MICKIE JAMES PROMO- Velvet and Tara were very unnecessary here.

JEFF HARDY PROMO- good

AUSTIN ARIES & ALEX SHELLEY SEGMENT- AMAZING! Utterly perfect!

ODB & WINTER BRAWL- good

ERIC YOUNG vs. ANGELINA LOVE (w/Winter)- DUD! A failed comedy match and an entirely pointless segment

JAMES STORM PROMO- great

# 1 CONTENDERSHIP MATCH: Jeff Hardy vs. James Storm- 7/10. I liked the finish, too. Thankfully this was great because, aside from the X-Division segment, nothing else was.

Overall, a crappy episode of Impact with a shinning gem of an X-Division segment in the middle of this cow-pie.
