WWE Royal Rumble Discussion w/Live Updates!

Tonight is honestly my favorite PPV of the year, the Royal Rumble. On the card tonight we have 2 world title matches, a regular match and of course the Royal Rumble.

CM Punk will defend his WWE Championship against Dolph Ziggler with John Laurinaitus acting as the special guest referee. 2 weeks ago, Laurinaitus claimed he would screw Punk out of the title but this past week showed a possible change of heart when told that he was going to be under review due to his questionable proclamation. He will get his review on the RAW following the Rumble by Triple H.

Daniel Bryan will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against the Big Show & Mark Henry inside a Steel Cage. It will be interesting to see whether or not this match will be changed due a legit injury Mark Henry suffered this past week on SmackDown.

John Cena will finally get his match with Kane after weeks and weeks of Kane telling Cena to embrace the hate. In that time, Kane has attacked both Cena & Zack Ryder. This past week he chokeslammed Ryder through the stage during their falls count anywhere match on RAW. After the match, Eve who overacted her nice a** off blamed Cena for what Kane did to Ryder. After which, Josh Matthews attempted to interview Cena only to have Cena smack the microphone out of his hand and put on a constipated face which they're passing off as him being angry. We'll see how that plays into the match.

Last but certainly not least, we have the Royal Rumble. We knew a few names who are going to be in it. The Miz, R-Truth, Sheamus, Wade Barrett & Mick Foley. We don't know the order except for The Miz who after losing to R-Truth this past week on RAW, will start at #1. Chris Jericho claimed that tonight, it will be the end of the world as we know it. Don't know if that means he's in the Rumble or whether he'll mess with another match on the card. Either way i'm very interested in watching this PPV.

Results

Daniel Bryan defeated The Big Show & Mark Henry in a Triple Threat Steel Cage Match to retain the World Heavyweight Championship.
-Bryan won by escaping the Steel Cage.

Beth Phoenix, Natalya and The Bella Twins defeated Kelly Kelly, Eve, Alicia Fox & Tamina.
-Phoenix pinned Kelly after a Glam Slam.

John Cena vs. Kane was a Double Count Out.
-Cena & Kane were fighting on the outside of the ring and were both counted out.

Brodus Clay defeated Drew McIntyre.

CM Punk defeated Dolph Ziggler w/John Laurianitus as the Special Guest Referee to retain the WWE Championship.
-Punk pinned Ziggler after the Go 2 Sleep.

Sheamus wins the 30 Man Royal Rumble Match.
-Sheamus last eliminated Jericho.
-Because he won, Sheamus gets to choose which champion he wants to face at WrestleMania 28.

I'm gonna skip out on this. I could have gone to my trainer's house for a viewing party but I'm just SO exhausted. Had a really rough party last night and I only got like three hours of sleep (on the floor). I'm ready to pass out now and I'll just download the show tomorrow when I get home. So I won't be on till tomorrow at least to stay as spoiler free as I can. Have fun.

World Heavyweight Championship match is the first match tonight.

Big Show got Mark Henry in between the ropes & the cage then splashes him a few times. Daniel Bryan tried to escape but Show saw him and pulled him back down.

I lol'd at Mark Henry, Daniel Bryan almost escapes through the door and as he's dragging Bryan back in the ring, Henry yells for the ref to close the door.

Daniel Bryan is almost escaping the top of the cage while Big Show holds on. Now Bryan is dangling on the outside as Big Show holds on him from the top and eventually Daniel Bryan drops to the floor outside the ring. Daniel Bryan retains his title.
