For tonight, John Laurinaitis has the reigns over SmackDown just like Teddy Long did for RAW. Laurinaitis teased putting Aksana in a match against Kane but i think Kane has a match against Randy Orton. A steel cage match was also teased by Laurinaitis on twitter between Swagger & Santino for the US title.

Results:

Santino Marella defeated Jack Swagger w/Vickie Guerrero & Dolph Ziggler to retain the United States Championship in a Steel Cage Match.
-Santino escaped the cage.

Drew McIntyre defeated Hornswoggle.

Mark Henry defeated Ezekiel Jackson.

Teddy Long defeated John Laurinaitis.

R-Truth & Kofi Kingston defeated Primo & Epico w/Rosa Mendes.

Sheamus, Randy Orton & Big Show defeated Cody Rhodes, Daniel Bryan & The Miz.

I really didn't like the "shut up, AJ" line. It is WAY too soon to pull the trigger for starting AJ's face turn. I think it would have worked better if they had Dragon say it in a gentler, but also more dismissive way. I'm not exactly sure what the verbiage should have been, but something less harsh. Not something like "quiet honey, men are talking, but something that has that sort of dismissiveness in it, without being as harsh as "shut up." This almost requires the start of a turn.

We start with Otunga & Laurinaitus in the ring and a steel cage is being lowered down to the ring.

First match of the night is the cage match for the United States Championship, Santino vs Swagger.

I wouldn't say Santino's win was a miracle so much as it was just lucky. Much like every non Beth Phoenix divas match thats won with a rollup.

Just noticed this, Swagger's hair is much different then usual. It lacks it's usual spikeyness.

Swagger catches Santino who jumps off the cage and rams him like a lawn dart into the cage.

Santino is bringing out the Cobra sock. Dolph climbs up on the cage from the outside and Santino gives him a Cobra. Swagger picks up Santino and i think got the Cobra too and drops Santino. Both are down.

Referee ejected Ziggler from the looks of it.

Swagger takes off the Cobra sock and tosses it near the edge of the cage. They tease the same finish from RAW but Swagger kicks out this time.

Swagger beings to climb and Santino runs into the ropes so Swagger gets crotched.

Now Santino is climbing and has his arms over but his torso and legs are still inside but Swagger grabs him.

Santino does a move on Swagger and calls for the door to be opened. Swagger grabs him before he leaves and puts on the ankle lock. Vickie gets in the referees face and tries to close the door. She ends up slamming the door on Swagger's head and Santino escapes for the win.

Teddy Long shows up and hugs Santino.

Sometime tonight, Cole will interview Sheamus & Daniel Bryan.

6 Man tag also announced: Show, Sheamus & Orton vs. Miz, Bryan & Rhodes.

We're back with Otunga & Laurinaitus, Teddy shows up. Laurinaitus is again teasing putting Aksana against Kane. He's made Teddy apologize.

Laurinaitus has made a match between himself and Teddy. If Teddy wins then the match will be made between Aksana & Kane. Don't know what will happen if he loses.

Drew McIntyre is here for a match it looks like, i guess Laurinaitus re-hired him.

McIntyre says Laurinaitus will re-hire him if he defeats a mystery opponent who is.....The Great Khali.

Before the match starts, Otunga comes out and tells Khali he's not in this match. His replacement is....Hornswoggle. I knew it!!!

McIntyre slams Hornswoggle and breaks up the count twice now to do more.

Referee calls for the ball because Hornswoggle is out. McIntyre is declared the winner.
