BRM Reviews the 7/15/2012 FCW

Post by Big Red Machine » Jul 31st, '12, 20:21

Dusty Rhodes and JR are calling the action tonight. Dusty accidentally calls William Regal “Steve.” Wrong promotion, Dusty.

FCW TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: Corey Graves & Jake Carter vs. CJ Parker & Mike Dalton- 6/10

NO DISQUALIFICATION MATCH: Audrey Marie vs. Paige- 2/10
The only time the No DQ’s stip was relevant was hen they were fighting over the chair (which never got used). Paige spent the whole match beating the sh*t out of Audrey… then eats one DDT and is down for the count? WTF?!

WILLIAM REGAL vs. DEAN AMBROSE- I honestly have no idea how to rate this. Regal and Ambrose are great but extremely awkward characters, and thus you really don’t know how you are supposed to respond to them. I will give them this, though: They did pay off the angle, with Ambrose putting Regal out.

Overall, not a good episode of FCW.

it was awesome, during Ambrose vs Rollins two weeks ago, Regal was saying he felt that Ambrose was the man that would eventually end his career.

He's been saying that for a good six months now.

That's been the big thing here. That was the angle that they paid off. They way they did it was just so awkward... but somehow so right for Ambrose and Regal.
I don't think that Ambrose looked particularly strong, though. Regal dominated most of the match. I
