TNA No Surrender 2012 (9/9/2012)- Orlando, FL
BOUND FOR GLORY SERIES SEMI-FINAL MATCH: Jeff Hardy vs. Samoa Joe-
7/10
Great opener.
BOUND FOR GLORY SERIES SEMI-FINAL MATCH: James Storm vs. Bully Ray- 4.75/10
Bully's stalling has moved past the point of heel heat is now just actively boring. The third ref bump looked weak and was entirely unnecessary. Why not just have Hebner stay down until after the beer bottle?
TNA KNOCKOUTS' TITLE MATCH: Miss Tessmacher(c) vs. Tara- 4.5/10
I liked what they did here, but I was expecting a much harder heel turn from Tara.
HOGAN HAS ROODE AND STORM BOTH THROWN IN JAIL- not a bad segment, but it was just kind of odd. When was the last time a bayface authority figure has thrown a heel in jail for interfering in a match?
ARIES BRAWLS WITH THE ACES & EIGHTS GUY- Good segment
I understand that wanting to know who Aces & Eights are is helpful, but taking the mask off won’t necessarily help. If they take the mask off and it’s someone no one in TNA can recognize, then it doesn’t help. Shouldn’t Aries be trying to take the guy’s wallet instead? This would have been better if they had revealed that Bully Ray was behind Aces & Eights later in the night (Bubba was one of the last guys out there, and Aces & Eights seemed to decide that it was time to leave after they hurt Jeff.
TNA X-DIVISION TITLE MATCH: Zema Ion(c) vs. Sonjay Dutt- 6/10
Okay. There are cops showing up. We get it. We knew this was going to happen because we heard Hogan say it about forty-three times. You should not be taking the video-feed away from the action in the ring.
MAGNUS PROMO- GREAT!
MAGNUS vs. ROB VAN DAM- 5.5/10
DANIELS & KAZ PROMO- decent
TNA WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: Christopher Daniels & Kazarian(c) vs. Kurt Angle & AJ Styles- 8/10
Awesome match.
HOGAN is briefing the cops? OH COME ON! If this was private security, fine. But not the cops. And the cops are only surrounding the ring for the main event? Yes, it is the most important match on the show, but that doesn’t make the other matches (especially the tag title match) not important!
BULLY RAY PROMO- great
BULLY RAY & HULK HOGAN SEGMENT- not good. Hogan just rambled a lot here.
BOUND FOR GLORY SERIES FINALS: Bully Ray vs. Jeff Hardy- 6/10
Not good enough for a main event.
Overall, an okay show from TNA.

Re: BRM Reviews TNA No Surrender 2012
I turned into a little kid for Jeff in the main event. I love the show of respect between Jeff and Bully Ray at the beginning, I love that Jeff came out to fight despite his shoulder... It made me get even more behind him in this series, and made me actually care whether or not he won (which I'm assuming was the point of it). I'm watching the match as I type this but thus far Jeff is absolutely coming off as the underdog. It's doing everything it needs to do. As a match, it won't be strong because Jeff is injured, obviously, but it tells the story it needs to tell.
Admittedly, I was doing Classics homework for the rest of the PPV, so I can't really say anything about it...

Excellent. That's the way you should feel! Glad you enjoyed the match.Serujuunin wrote:I turned into a little kid for Jeff in the main event. i don't really see why eveyone in the internet is freaking out about jeff winning the bound for glory series, i can see how a lot of people still hate him, but everyone has been crapping on tna again without even knowing where this is going!

I just feel like he was the wrong choce, creatively, for this year's BFG. I think it should have been Joe or Bully Ray, both guys Aries has beaten before he became champ, who will be even meaner this time around.RedSon wrote:i don't really see why eveyone in the internet is freaking out about jeff winning the bound for glory series, i can see how a lot of people still hate him, but everyone has been crapping on tna again without even knowing where this is going!

Re: BRM Reviews TNA No Surrender 2012
yeah i agree, he was the least likely to win, after bully ray resigned with tna i was dead sure he would win it, he's a good heel to face aries and even a good option to be behind aces and eights. i just got annoyed that even when tna is doing good, one little thing that the iwc doesn't like and they send them to hellBig Red Machine wrote:I just feel like he was the wrong choce, creatively, for this year's BFG.
