2/1/13...a sad day in wrestling

Post by cero2k » Feb 2nd, '13, 09:33

For those that didn't watch smackdown, Team Rhodes Scholars announced the break up of the team :(

I'm quite sad that they didn't get a run with the titles....

For me, Rhodes Scholars was kind of like that girl you just kind of keep going out with because you don't have a reason not too. It was never supposed to last forever, but it just wasn't ending. Theres nothing wrong with where you're at, but its not where you want to be.

I like Cody, I like Sandow, and while the showed a lot in common, I never felt like they had much chemistry. The break up is more of a relief to me than anything else, as it seemed like neither were in it for the long haul.

A title win wouldn't have been the end of the world, but I don't think they were the guys to dethrone Hell No.

I'm excited to see what they've got for each of them moving forward!

This. I actually like them both a lot better as singles guys. I really don't think that Sandow's worldview will allow him to be friends with too many people, so I always found the paring slightly odd. I just can't see Sandow ever agreeing to come out to Cody's music. Hopefully this means the start of a big push for one or both of them.

i'm with everyone here, but i do think this happened too soon. they lasted less than team hell no's title reign. they were the chosen ones to take the titles away from kane and daniel.

btw, that tag division we were loving 5 months ago...RIP
