That would tie up the loose ends well (although I think TNA should have learned through their failed experiments that turning Sting heel never works).e-moose wrote:OK BRM, you insist that there must be a much bigger motive for the A&8s than merely putting the title on Bully Ray. You also insist that all the initial focus the group put on Hogan iz not satisfied. So I've thought of a mind blowing scenario for you.![]()
We begin to hear the odd rumblingz among the A&8s mentioning some sort of "supreme leader". We find out Brooke iz pregnant (I can just smell that coming regardless of any of the rest). Hogan, already right f'd up by the whole Bully Ray deceit, now completely lozez hiz mind. He sayz he needz some time off from hiz dutiez az GM. Now he haz to find a temporary replacement. After much deliberation, he decidez to hand over the reignz to who else? Hiz best buddy Sting.
You know... Sting... The Insane Icon... the first guy who went to bat for Bully Ray, and played such a big role in convincing Hogan to trust him. Sting... later revealed az the "supreme leader". Maybe hiz official title will be "Icon" of the A&8s.
So now the group not only haz the title but runz the show, plus they've put the screwz to Hogan & TNA fully. Would that satisfy your concernz? ...or doez this just open a whole other can of wormz?

He has seen the man snap, so why torture him and risk him going all Abyss on their asses in their clubhouse, then escaping and revealing everything?
7. Of course it was! If anyone found out that he was working with a group of outsiders who were orchestrating attacks on TNA employees, TNA has every reason to fire him!
8. Doesn't fit in with the storyline, though. Why would Anderson join them after they beat him up? "Just to be an asshole" doesn't cut it. His stated reason was that Sting didn't trust him or didn't think he was tough or whatever. There are plenty of other ways for Anderson to prove his toughness or get back at Sting that are much more in character than joining a motorcycle gang whose sole purpose is to put the TNA World Heavyweight Title on Bully Ray.

(3) But you have to earn the title shot, the way things have been working for the last year or so is that Hogan decides who's the No 1 contender for any title, it's like there's no more No 1 contenders matches, only matches to please Hogan so he can later choose his own son in law. Plus this wasn't only about fooling Hogan and Sting, Ray also wanted to fool the fans.
(4) Sometimes we like to live dangerously, you worry too much about taking risks
(7) if Taz, Anderson, Briscoe, or Garrett didn't get fired, why would D'lo? Hogan can't fire D'lo, he is under Dixie's jurisdiction.
(8) maybe you're right about just being an asshole is not a good enough reason to join the club, but if he's trying to get back at Sting, this is one likely answers, especially after Anderson was approached by them, he wasn't the one who went looking for them. Maybe he will end up being a spy for Sting.

7. With Taz it was explained that he had some stip in his contract that prevented him from being fired or hurt (which makes TNA look like morons for signing someone to a contract like that). As for Garrett, Anderson, and Briscoe... that's a damn good question why TNA hasn't fired them. My assumption is that they figured that firing them wouldn't matter because they are still entitled to access to the Impact Zone because of the stips from BFG, but they really should have been clarified on the air (along with why they were allowed to show up on the UK tour, as that wasn't the Impact Zone).
8. Possible... but let's be honest. This is TNA here.

7. these are the little things i usually look past, otherwise why wouldn't you ever expect GMs to fire the people they don't like or that are doing bad stuff.
8. i'm confident that someone will eventually leave Aces and Eights now that they have control (I'm also expecting for DOC and Knox to capture the tag titles soon) and the perfect choice is Anderson who can really work the babyface side, he was the last to enter the group, they could easily play out that Sting and him had an agreement that Anderson would infiltrate the team.

Re: !!!THAT IMPACT ENDING!!!!
7. Normally I would agree with you, but these are extenuating circumstances. This group has been viciously attacking company executives and putting wrestlers out for weeks or even months at a time. Furthermore, aside from Devon, Bully, and Anderson, there is no real reason that TNA would want to keep them. What do they care if Mike Knox or Luke Gallows or Wes brisco or Garrett Bishcoff go wrestle for someone else? They're not names that TNA would want to keep from falling into the competition's hands.cero2k wrote:4. that wimp would likely faint at the sight of carnageBig Red Machine wrote:

8. If Anderson is a spy, why didn't he tip Sting & co off to both Bully's roll in the club and to the plan tonight? The only way it makes sense for him to be a spy and not do so is if there is some greater plan that it is more important to thwart and blowing his cover here would prevent him form being able to do so.

Re: !!!THAT IMPACT ENDING!!!!
Gotta put my 2 cents in on 7 & 8.
7. In 1998 Stone Cold Steve Austin week after week did everything he could to disrupt the company and the boss. Why wuz he not fired right from the start? It really didn't make sense (and I wuz actually thinking that at the time it wuz happening). There will alwayz be thingz in wrestling that make no sense. This particular nonsensical scenario became the biggest selling feud in wrestling history.
If everything has to make sense, your best bet is to stop watching wrestling. It's never going to make sense. Don't bother switching to watching the newz either. I tried that. Theze dayz the newz media make az much sense az wrestling. I suggest giving up televizion entirely. There'z barely anything offered there that makes sense. Maybe cooking showz or local sports? The Discovery Channel?
8. Misterrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr... Annnnnndersonnnnnnnnnnnnnn... Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnndersooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn, I believe, iz infiltrating the group privately (hiz own mission) with nobody else knowing. This does suit hiz character. He may be doing it for personal gain, or he may be doing it for TNA, or both, but either way, he'z working entirely in secret.

Re: !!!THAT IMPACT ENDING!!!!
7. I addressed this and you even answered the question yourself. Austin was popular with the fans. He was a huge draw and an extremely talented wrestler who Vince wanted on his roster because he would make money. Making money is also a kayfabe goal for a promotion. Wes Brisco and Garrett Bischoff are not the type of guys who TNA would give a rats ass if they went to WWE or ROH.e-moose wrote:Gotta put my 2 cents in on 7 & 8.

Tons of shows on TV's make sense (for the record, only dramas really need to make sense. Comedy is a whole different thing. Not even comedy in wrestling really has to make much sense).
8. Could be possible.
