Re: BRM Books Raw 1,000 and beyond
A small but important editorial note. Please just assume that until further notice, each show has at least one commercial asking anyone who might have information as to the whereabouts of Husky Harris to please call WWE immediately (I really don't feel like typing this up every time). There is also a banner across the bottom of the WWE website that says the same thing.
I should have everything up to and including Over The Limit up tonight. Hopefully will have Hell in a Cell posted within a week.

Re: BRM Books Raw 1,000 and beyond
WWE.com reports that Brodus Clay & Cameron will not be at Superstars or Smackdown because they are doing charity stuff
Superstars: (9/19/2013)
WADE BARRETT vs. THE MIZ (w/Corey Graves)-
Barrett comes out strong, landing tons of strikes early on. Miz barely gets any offense in and gets nailed with a Barrett Barrage in about three and a half minutes for the pin. Miz walks to the back dejectedly, refusing a reaction interview from Renee Young
ROMAN REIGNS vs. SANTINO MARELLA-
Reigns wins clean in five minutes. Just enough time for Santino to get in his antics before Reigns takes over and beats him.
LUKE HARPER vs. HEATH SLATER-
Harper obliterates Heath in under two minutes, pinning him after a running big boot.
EVAN BOURNE vs. ANTONIO CESARO (w/Aksana)-
Bourne wins clean in twenty minutes. Just let them go out there and go nuts
Seth Rollins is still out healing from the injuries he has suffered at the hands of Dean Ambrose over the past week, but he has sent us some comments which will be aired tonight on Smackdown. Also on tonight’s Smackdown we will see Paige defend her newly-won Divas Title against former champion AJ Bryan, Dolph Ziggler take on Luke Harper in a battle of superstars who have not lost in over a month, and Randy Orton will put his #1 contendership on the line against Wade Barrett!
Smackdown: (9/20/2013)- Cincinnati, OH
HEATH SLATER vs. JINDER MAHAL-
The match goes for about two minutes before an angry Kane comes out and chokeslams both men, causing a double DQ. He angrily calls for Big Show to come out. Show does, and they start to brawl. The locker room quickly empties to try to hold these two behemoths apart. Steph shows up and says that she has an action-packed show planned for tonight and can’t afford to lose time trying to keep these two apart, so she orders them sent home or else they will be suspended.
INTERNATIONAL AIRSTRIKE 2.0 vs. THE USOS-
Airstrike win clean in six fast-paced minutes.
PTP are shown watching the match on a monitor backstage.
Renee Young is backstage with Sandow, Naomi, and Otunga. She asks Naomi who she wants to see win tonight’s Divas Title match. Naomi responds that she doesn’t care who wins tonight’s Divas Title match. All she cares about is finding out when she will get the chance to prove her superiority over the winner. Damien Sandow cuts a promo, saying “speaking of proving one’s superiority, I once again proved my superiority over that lummox Brodus Clay on Raw. All three of them go back and forth making fun of Brodus.
CODY RHODES vs. RYBACK-
Ryback wins clean in eight minutes
EVAN BOURNE vs. THE MIZ (w/Corey Graves)-
Miz comes charging at Bourne, but Bourne avoids all of Miz’s strikes and lands a bunch of dropkicks. Miz charges at Bourne in the corner but Bourne gets the boots up, knocking Miz down, then quickly elevates himself to the top turnbuckle and hits Miz with a Shooting Star press for the win in less than a minute.
Renee Young tries to get a reaction interview from Miz, but he blows her off. As Renee and the cameraman follow Miz, we hear him talking about Orton being right and him needing to take some time off. Corey Graves urges Miz not to listen, saying that it is all Orton playing mind games, just like he did with RVD.
WWE DIVAS TITLE MATCH: Paige(c) (w/Christian) vs. AJ Bryan (w/Daniel Bryan)-
AJ gets shined, then Paige starts cheating to cut her off and start the heat. AJ fights back, though, and manages to work Paige’s neck and arms and lock in the Octopus Stretch. Paige is clearly in trouble, so Christian grabs a chair and goes to hit AJ with it, but Dragon charges into the ring and spears him, saving AJ. AJ keeps the hold locked in and Paige taps, winning the Divas Title back. Dragon and AJ celebrate.
Mark Henry cuts a backstage promo saying that his recent losses have only been minor setbacks, and he won’t stop climbing until he reaches the top and is finally given the respect he deserves.
LUKE HARPER vs. DOLPH ZIGGLER (w/Vickie Guerrero)-
Ziggler does a good job of using his speed to avoid Harpers offense, and becomes the first guy to get some sustained offense against Harper. Dolph calls out that he is going for a missile dropkick and goes out to the apron to climb to the top rope, but CM Punk’s music plays and Punk comes out onto the stage. Ziggler turns and starts yelling at Punk, but this gives Harper time to recover and he charges at Ziggler, hitting him with a running big boot which knocks Dolph off of the apron (I can just imagine the awesome bump Dolph would take). Dolph appears to be pretty much out of it, and despite Vickie’s best efforts to revive him, he is counted out.
Seth Rollins pre-taped promo:
Rollins: Dean Ambrose, you might be suspended, but I know that you’re watching this at home, so pay attention. I’m done playing nice with you. I have spent over a month now putting myself on the line for you. Trying to help you. I hooked you up with William Regal, who taught you one of the most painful submission holds in all of wrestling. I put myself on the line to Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley when I told her to give you another chance. I even put my own career second and lost some matches that I shouldn’t have because I barely had time to prepare for them because I was putting all of my time and effort into helping you.
But no more.
Whatever disease got into your head isn’t my problem now. It’s yours. Because I am going to beat you until you get right in the head again… and if you don’t get right in the head again, I’ll just keeping hitting you.
WINNER BECOMES #1 CONTENDER TO THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE: Wade Barrett vs. Randy Orton (w/Bo Dallas)-
Before the match Orton invites Shemaus to sit at ringside and watch the match. A few minutes into the match, Sheamus shows up and joins the commentary team. Orton wins clean in fifteen minutes, pinning Barrett after an RKO. After the match Orton invites Sheamus into the ring and cuts a short promo to hype up their match at Over The Limit. He finishes his promo by saying “may the best man win” and offers Sheamus a handshake, which Sheamus accepts. Orton turns the handshake into an RKO. Orton stands tall over Sheamus as the show ends.
Brodus Clay sends out a Tout saying that if Sandow, Otunga, & Naomi like making fun of him so much, they should put their money where their mouths are.
Superstars: (9/19/2013)
WADE BARRETT vs. THE MIZ (w/Corey Graves)-

Re: BRM Books Raw 1,000 and beyond
The Miz has requested and been granted some time off for “personal reasons.”
General Manager of Raw and Smackdown Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley has signed three matches for tonight’s Raw. The first will see Alberto Del Rio and the Colons face the team of World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus, the #1 contender to the World Heavyweight Title Randy Orton, and Orton’s protégé Bo Dallas. Also booked for Raw is rematch for the Divas Title, and Damien Sandow, David Otunga, & and Naomi teaming up to take on Brodus Clay, Cameron, and a partner of their choice.
Dean Ambrose, who will be returning from a short suspension for attacking a WWE official last week on Main Event, has asked for some time to address the WWE Universe and his formed friend Seth Rollins.
Two matches have also been signed for Smackdown: Cody Rhodes vs. Mark Henry and CM Punk vs. Luke Harper.
Daniel Bryan puts out a Tout saying that he would like to see Christian actually defend his title fairly and not attack a woman because he knows Dragon will beat him.
Raw: (9/23/2013)- Chicago, IL
THE PRIME TIME PLAYERS vs. MICHAEL MCGILLICUTTY & DREW MCINTYRE-
PTP win clean in seven minutes.
Renee Young asks Sheamus for some thoughts on having to team with Orton tonight after Orton gave him an RKO on Smackdown. Sheamus says that he is not even sure why this match was happening. Orton shows up and tells Sheamus that he suggested the match to Steph. His actions on Smackdown were about sending a message, nothing more. He wants to team with Sheamus tonight to show that there are no hard feelings. Sheamus is very suspicious of Orton.
NAOMI, DAVID OTUNGA, & DAMIEN SANDOW vs. CAMERON, BRODUS CLAY, & JACK SWAGGER-
The babyfaces win clean in nine minutes when Cameron pins Naomi. Swagger joins in Brodus and Cameron’s post-match dancing.
We get a backstage segment with PTP bumping into International Airstrike 2.0 backstage. PTP congratulate Airstrike on their win on Smackdown and Airstrike congratulate PTP on their win here on Raw. Gabriel says “What is that? Twice in eight days now that you have pinned McIntyre & McGilliutty?” Neville then adds in that PTP didn’t actually beat himself and Justin Gabriel at Night of Champions, and that maybe they should have another match. Titus and Darren say that Airstrike is right, and they will get right on that.
RANDY ORTON, BO DALLAS & SHEAMUS vs. ALBERTO DEL RIO & THE COLONS (w/Rosa Mendes)-
Sheamus is clearly hesitant about teaming with Orton. The heels get their heat on Randy, and despite being able to make a hot tag to Sheamus, Orton suffers a leg injury. The babyfaces still get the win, though, when Sheamus catches Primo with a Brogue Kick. Sheamus celebrates the win while Bo helps Orton, who is now limping heavily. Sheamus goes over to check on Orton as well… and eats an RKO. Apparently Bo wasn’t in on the plan, though, as he doesn’t seem very happy about this. The announcers put over Randy Orton as playing mind games with Sheamus, and note that he is a “master of mind games” seemingly having talked both RVD and The Miz into taking time off.
Christian & Paige cut a backstage promo. Paige says that she’ll win the Divas’ Title back from AJ tonight (“I had a short reign, but I’ll make sure that hers will be even shorter”). Christian says he isn’t even sure why he should give Dragon another shot at the title. He says he has already wasted too much time thinking about Daniel Bryan. Now he needs to focus himself the upstart chump he will be facing tonight, Evan Bourne.
LUKE HARPER vs. ANTONIO CESARO (w/Aksana)-
Harper wins clean in twelve minutes, pinning Cesaro with a running big boot.
Dragon promo saying that Christian doesn’t deserves to be champ and that he will screw him in every match and create a long line of challengers to ensure that he loses the belt. “What will it be, Christian? More title defenses than anyone can possibly handle? Or defend the against me like a man, just once?”
RYBACK vs. SIN CARA- Ryback wins clean in six minutes
CM Punk cuts a promo on Dolph Ziggler saying that Ziggler doesn’t get to go around calling himself the “best in the world” when he needed to resort to cheating to beat Punk at Night of Champions. To be the “best in the world” you need to actually be the best. Luke Harper, on the other hand, is looking like he might actually be the best in the world, and Punk wants to test himself against Harper.
CHRISTIAN vs. EVAN BOURNE-
Paige is not at ringside because she is getting ready for her title match tonight. Dragon is commentary for this match. The finish comes when Bourne goes for a sunset flip from the apron into the ring (on the side near the announcers), but Christian sets down on it (think the finish to Bret vs. Davey Boy at Summer Slam 1992, but near the ropes), and grabs the ropes for illegal leverage. Dragon gets up from his chair and manages to knock Christian’s arms off of the ropes before the three-count, allowing Bourne to roll Christian into the sunset flip and pin him for the upset win against the WWE Champion
Renee Young tries to get a reaction promo from Christian. He says that Dragon interfering in his matches isn’t going to convince him to give Dragon a title shot. The only thing it is going to do is ensure that he gets involved in tonight’s Divas Title match.
Cody Rhodes cuts a backstage promo hyping up his match for Smackdown against Mark Henry. He is interrupted by Del Rio who calls him a fool for not cashing in MITB twice in the last few days when Sheamus has been down. When he had MITB took the first opportunity do so, and that is what Cody needs to do if he wants to be a World Champion like Alberto Del Rio was. Cody, very politely thanks Del Rio for his advice, but says that he has his own way of doing things.
MARK HERNY vs. EZEKIEL JACKSON-
Henry wins clean in ten minutes
Wade Barrett cuts a promo saying that his loss to Orton last week was a blow to his confidence, but he won’t let Orton’s mind games beat him like RVD and Miz have.
R-TRUTH vs. TENSAI vs. ROMAN RIEGNS vs. DOLPH ZIGGLER (w/Vickie Guerrero)-
Ziggler wins clean, pinning Reigns
Big Show cuts a backstage promo saying that he is going to get revenge on Kane for tossing him off the stage back in May and costing him four months of his career. He acknowledges that Kane has been on an unstoppable rampage since Wrestlemania, but points out that the only time Kane has ever been put down during that time was last week on Raw when Big Show knocked him out with the WMD.
Kane jumps Big Show from behind, hitting him in the back of the head with a weapon, and continues to beat Show down while asking Show how he likes getting attacked from behind and saying that nothing will ever stop his path of destruction.
Dean Ambrose comes out to the ring and cuts his promo.
Ambrose: Almost six months ago, as I was preparing for my Wresltemania match against Mick Foley, I quoted a famous saying: “He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster himself.” Mick Foley’s hardcore trash has ruined countless lives. He is a monster. And in order to slay that monster, I, too, became a monster. I thought I would be able to control it, but I couldn’t. I even tried to take time away from wrestling, but that didn’t work. This monstrous urge is still inside me, and it always will be. I know that I will never be able to defeat it, and if I can’t win, what’s the purpose of fighting?
You see, I had a revelation. I looked at another monster: The Big Red Monster, Kane. Kane is a monster. He knows this, and will admit it not just readily, but proudly. Kane has embraced the fact that he is a monster, and since Wresltemania, he has been roughshod over the entire WWE.
So I decided to follow Kane’s example. I have these violent, hardcore urges, and they will never go away. I am a monster… and in order to be able to keep my very sanity, I have embraced that fact.
Seth, when I assaulted you, I was just following those urges… but I was doing so to help you, too. I heard what you said about me on Smackdown, and nothing that you said was wrong. You did try to help me, and at the expense of yourself. And I know that you would have kept giving of yourself to help me win a battle that I knew was futile, so I attacked you, and made sure that you stopped helping me. As your friend, I didn’t want to see you waste any more of your time. As your friend, I am sorry that you wasted your time on me and I am sorry that I let you down… but I’m not sorry that I assaulted you, because that is who I am now. I completely understand that you want to fight me, and I am okay with that… but as your friend, I just want to make sure you realize the monster that you are now facing.
Ambrose explanation to Rollins (“I am a monster, now.”- offers match at Over The Limit
DIVAS TITLE MATCH: AJ Bryan(c) vs. Paige-
Before the introductions, Lillian announces that, per the orders of WWE General Manager Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley, both Daniel Bryan and Christian are barred from ringside.
AJ wins the match clean via roll-up in fifteen minutes
WWE.com reports that Seth Rollins sent out the following tweet last night: “Just tell me the place and time, Dean, and I’ll be there to fight you.”
WWE.com announces that International Airstrike will challenge the Prime Time Players for the WWE World Tag Team Titles at Over The Limit
Main Event: (9/25/2013)
ZACK RYDER vs. CHRISTIAN (w/Paige)-
Daniel Bryan distracts Christian, allowing Ryder to roll him up for the win.
RYBACK vs. BRODUS CLAY (w/Cameron)-
Ryback wins clean
INTERNATIONAL AIRSTRIKE 2.0 vs. DAMIEN SANDOW & DAVID OTUNGA (w/Naomi)-
Airstrike win clean in ten minutes
EVAN BOURNE vs. CODY RHODES-
Bourne wins clean in ten minutes with the Shooting Star Press.
Christian puts out a Tout accepting Dragon’s challenge to another WWE Title match… but says that HE will pick the stipulations.
Dragon responds via Tout saying that he will beat Christian in any match Christian chooses.
Superstars: (9/26/2013)
Zack Ryder comes out and says that he pinned the WWE Champion last night on Main Event, so he wants a WWE Title match tonight. Christian comes out and agrees to give Ryder his title shot.
WWE TITLE MATCH: Christian(c) vs. Zack Ryder-
Christian wins clean in twelve minutes
LAYLA EL vs. NAOMI (w/Damien Sandow & David Otunga)-
Naomi wins clean in seven minutes
EVAN BOURNE vs. ALBERTO DEL RIO (w/Ricardo Rodriguez)-
Bourne gets the upset win on Del Rio, pinning him in fifteen minutes
WWE.com reports that WWE General Manager Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley has signed the Big Show to two major matches. In his first match since being thrown off the stage by Kane back in May, Big Show will have a tough test as he face Sheamus in a Wrestlemania rematch in the main event on tonight’s Smackdown. Then, on Raw, he will face the man who threw him off that stage, Kane, in a grudge match for the ages.
Also on this week’s Smackdown, Mark Henry will face Cody Rhodes, CM Punk will face the unstoppable Luke Harper, and Evan Bourne will face R-Truth.
Smackdown will also feature a contract signing between Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose for a match at Over The Limit.
General Manager of Raw and Smackdown Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley has signed three matches for tonight’s Raw.

Re: BRM Books Raw 1,000 and beyond
Christian Touts that tonight on Smackdown he will reveal his choice of match type for his WWE Title defense against Daniel Bryan, which will take place at Over The Limit.
Smackdown: (9/27/2013)- Milwaukee, WI
R-TRUTH vs. EVAN BOURNE-
Bourne wins clean in ten minutes. Afterwards he cuts a promo saying that like Zack Ryder did on Main Event, he pinned the WWE Champion Christian on Raw, and like Zack Ryder did on Superstars, he is looking to get the WWE Title match that he earned, and he wants it soon. He says that the main event of Over The Limit might well be Daniel Bryan vs. Evan Bourne instead of Daniel Bryan vs. Christian.
RYBACK vs. ANTONIO CESARO (w/Aksana)-
Ryback wins clean
Randy Orton cuts a backstage promo claiming that the RKO is greatest finisher in the history of wrestling. He can hit it from any position at just a moment’s notice. No one can stop the RKO, and to prove it, he is going to hit Sheamus with an RKO on every show from now until Over The Limit. Then, at Over The Limit, he will hit Sheamus with the RKO and pin him to become the World Heavyweight Champion.
Bo pipes up, saying that Orton’s actions seem a bit heelish, but Randy explains to him that it is just mind games, and mind games are perfectly fair.
THE PRIME TIME PLAYERS & INTERNATIONAL AIRSTRIKE 2.0 vs. THE USOS & TEAM CO-BRO-
PTP and Airstrike win when Neville pins Santino. The announcers put over the fact that they seem to be working very well together despite having a big WWE World Tag Team Title match against each other in nine days at Over The Limit.
Rollins and Ambrose meet for their contract signing. Ambrose says he wants two stipulations added into the contract: He wants it to be a Hardcore match, and he wants the Intercontinental Title to be on the line, otherwise he won’t sign the contract. Rollins agrees and signs the contract. Ambrose then signs the contract… and flings the pen at Rollins’ face!
Rollins cringes back a few steps, and that is all the time Ambrose needs to climb up onto the table and jump off with a flying knee that nails Rollins in the face. Ambrose then picks Rollins up and gives him a powerbomb through the table.
MARK HENRY vs. CODY RHODES-
Henry wins clean in ten minutes via World’s Strongest Slam. As Henry is walking off and Cody is just recovering, Alberto Del Rio rushes down to the ring and assaults Cody (have the announcers cut away from a replay of Henry vs. Cody or something to emphasize the surprise). After a vicious beating, Del Rio “pins” Cody and Ricardo counts the pin.
Renee Young is backstage with Jack Swagger. She says she was surprised that Swagger volunteered to team with Brodus on Raw because they seem like very different people. Swagger says that he respects Brodus Clay, his courage, and his very American art of Funk.
Christian comes out to reveal the stipulations he has chosen for Daniel Bryan’s WWE Title match at Over The Limit:
1) In order for the match to happen, AJ must first agree to give Paige a shot at the Divas Title at Over The Limit.
2) This will be a Last Chance match, so if Dragon loses, he cannot get another shot as long as Christian is champion
3) It will be a ladder match. Christian puts the ladder match over as being “his” match. He claims to have made the ladder match famous and says that Dragon’s inexperience in ladder matches will be his downfall.
BRODUS CLAY (w/Cameron) vs. WADE BARRETT vs. JACK SWAGGER vs. ROMAN REIGNS-
Brodus wins clean, pinning Reigns, but appears to hurt his ankle during the match.
CM PUNK vs. LUKE HARPER-
Harper wins when Ziggler distracts Punk, allowing Harper to hit him with a big boot.
Dragon & AJ cut a backstage promo agreeing to Christian’s demands.
WRESTLEMANIA XXIX REMATCH: Big Show vs. Sheamus-
The match never gets started because Kane jumps Big Show on the ramp. They have a giant brawl, throwing each other around on the stage, destroying the set of the stage. The entire locker room and tons of security empty out to stop them, but they keep fighting, taking guys down left and right. Orton uses the cover of chaos to find Sheamus and drop him with an RKO. Eventually the legions of WWE Superstars are able to get Kane and Show subdued (with tons of the biggest, strongest guys being needed to hold them back), but the entire stage area is totally destroyed.
WWE.com reports that the damage that Kane & Big Show’s brawled did to the stage will cost tens of thousands of dollars to repair, and as a result, Steph has not only fined both men, but suspended them for a few days as well. Their singles match for Raw has been postponed until Over The Limit.

Re: BRM Books Raw 1,000 and beyond
Cody Rhodes puts out a Tout saying he will destroy Alberto Del Rio at Raw.
Seth Rollins was injured by the Powerbomb through the table by Dean Ambrose, and will not be at tonight’s Raw.
To make it up to the fans in Biloxi who bought tickets to see the Kane vs. Big Show match that was cancelled because of their suspensions, WWE General Manager Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley has signed another clash of the titans: The World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus vs. The World’s Strongest Man Mark Henry!
Sheamus’ challenger at Over The Limit, Randy Orton, will also be in action on Raw facing NXT upstart Roman Reigns. In other championship-related news, Evan Bourne will get his WWE Title shot against Christian tonight on Raw in the main event!
In another clash of the Titans signed for Raw, Luke Harper will face The Great Khali.
From about 2pm on, we get a bunch of Tweets from talent about how pissed Cody Rhodes is, and about how they would hate to be Alberto Del Rio tonight.
Raw: (9/30/2013)- Biloxi, MS
SHEAMUS vs. MARK HENRY-
They go back and forth for a few minutes before Orton runs in and hits Sheamus with an RKO, causing a DQ. Henry is angry at Orton for costing him the match and shouts at Orton as he retreats up the ramp.
Cody Rhodes cuts an in-ring promo saying that Del Rio’s illness is BS and that Alberto is just being a coward. Ricardo Rodriguez comes out and says that he has a video for Cody from Del Rio. He has the production guys load the video up on the Tron. It is a video of Del Rio sitting in his hotel room bed, with a thermometer in his mouth, an ice back on his head, and a very sore red nose, being tended to by Ricardo. He cuts a promo saying that he is only trying to help Cody. He offered Cody advice on how to use the MITB contract on Raw last week, but Cody ignored his advice, so he decided to physically demonstrate his lesson to Cody. (During the course of the promo, he is sniffling and blowing his nose, always handing the dirty tissues to Ricardo)
The video continues on for a bit, talking about Del Rio’s successful MITB cash-in, and while this is happening, a clearly healthy Alberto Del Rio sneaks through the crowd, hops the barricade, and jumps Cody from behind, beating him up and stealing his MITB Briefcase. He and Ricardo hop into their car and drive off.
Sheamus cuts an angry backstage promo saying that he is sick and tired of Randy’s crap, and now he is going to turn the tables.
Naomi cuts a backstage promo angry that someone is once again cutting in front of her to get a Divas Title match. Steph comes up and tells Naomi to come to her office and they will talk about it.
LUKE HARPER vs. THE GREAT KHALI-
Harper wins clean in six minutes with the running big boot (which will now be renamed the “Steamroller” because of how Harper has been Steamrolling through the competition- I really wish I had thought of this sooner). After the match, Ryback comes out and cuts a promo saying that over the past few months Harper has been dominating the competition the way that Ryback himself did last year. Ryback says that he wants to be the first man to beat Luke Harper and challenges Harper to a match at Over The Limit. Harper accepts.
As a buffer before the commercial, we get a shot of Dragon and AJ walking to towards the entrance area for Dragon’s match, which is next, but a runner shows up and tells AJ that Steph wants to see her in office right now. AJ gives Dragon a kiss for good luck and they go their separate ways.
When we are back from commercial, we get…
DANIEL BRYAN vs. WADE BARRETT-
Dragon wins clean, making Barrett tap to the Yes Lock in ten minutes. As Dragon is about to walk back behind the curtain, Christian charges out and drills him with a ladder. Christian then does the Terry Funk windmill spot, knocking Dragon down a bunch of times, then uses the ladder to beat on Dragon in various ways. Christian then stands over the fallen Dragon, choking him with the ladder, and cuts a promo saying that the ladder match is his match, and that he has the advantage because he is much better at using the ladder as a weapon.
DEAN AMBROSE vs. R-TRUTH-
Ambrose brings a kendo stick to the ring with him, which both Truth and the ref eye suspiciously. It only takes about two minutes for Ambrose to snap, grab the cane, and start attacking R-Truth with it 9casuing a DQ), eventually putting Truth down for the count after a vicious shot to the nuts.
Ambrose then grabs a mic and cuts a promo saying that although he has decided to embrace his inner monster, he hasn’t given up on his dream of making it to the top of the WWE. The problem is that whenever he gives into his monstrous hardcore urges, he gets DQed. For this reason, he explains, he needs to beat Seth Rollins and become the Intercontinental Champion so that he will have the stroke to make all of his matches No DQ’s matches so that he won’t keep losing by DQ and will be able to win matches and climb the ranks of the WWE.
When we get back from commercial, we get a recap of Christian’s assault on Dragon, then we go to a backstage segment with AJ and Dragon in the trainer’s room where Dragon is being stitched up. Dragon tells AJ that maybe Christian has a point. He really doesn’t know much about using a ladder as a weapon. AJ suggests that Dragon watch some tapes and call someone for some advice. Dragon says that he knows just the guy to call.
ROMAN REIGNS vs. RANDY ORTON (w/Bo Dallas)-
The match goes about two minutes before Sheamus charges down the ramp, looking to attack Orton. Both Bo and the ref try to stop him, which allows Orton time to escape into the crowd (Reigns wins by count-out). The frustrated Sheamus then pretty much decapitates Bo with a Brogue Kick.
Cole informs us that the reason that Steph called AJ to her office was to meet with her Naomi, and Paige, and they negotiated a deal to turn the Divas Title match Over The Limit into a Triple Threat Elimination Match.
BRODUS CLAY (w/Cameron) vs. DOLPH ZIGGLER (w/Vickie Guerrero)-
Ziggler goes after Brodus’ injured ankle, doing a lot of damage to it, but Brodus fights through the pain and manages to get the win with the help of a distraction from CM Punk. The Smirking Puink walks backstage as we go to commercial.
When we get back from commercial, Steph is on her way out the ring while Cole and Lawler show us what transpired during the break: Brodus and Cameron start their post-match dancing (Brodus doing so gingerly because of his injured ankle), but Ziggler clips Brodus’ leg, ending the celebration. Ziggler stomps on Brodus’ leg a few times and demands that this loss, as well as his loss to Luke Harper from Smackdown ten days ago be stricken from the record.
When get back to real time, Steph is grabbing a mic and summons Punk down to the ring as well, warning him and Ziggler not to lay a finger on each other or she will suspend them on the spot. Steph says that she is tired of people thinking they can do whatever they want around here, so she is really going to start laying down the law. She mentions her recent suspension of Ambrose for attacking officials and of Kane and Big Show for massive destruction of WWE property. She now announces that she is suspending Del Rio until Over The Limit for feigning an illness in order to skip work and lying to her about it. She says that she would prefer not to have to resort to fines and suspension to settle this issue, too, but she will if she has to.
Steph asks them what it will take to get them to stop interfering in each other’s matches. Ziggler calls Punk a sore loser, Punk responds by calling Ziggler a cheater and says that Ziggler wouldn’t have been able to beat him at Night of Champions without his feet on the ropes for illegal leverage. Steph suggests that they settle this in a rematch at Over The Limit, but this time with two referees, one on the inside and one on the outside. Both sides agree.
Renee Young is interviewing International Airstrike 2.0. She asks them if it was weird to team with the men who they will be challenging for the WWE World Tag Team Titles in just a few days at Over The Limit. Airstrike say that it wasn’t weird at all. They respect PTP a lot, and the fact that they have a title match coming up against them soon isn’t going to change that.
NATALYA NEIDHART vs. PAIGE (w/Christian) vs. AKSANA (w/Antonio Cesaro)-
Paige wins clean in five minutes, making Aksana tap. The announcers note the fact that Nattie is the only one who doesn’t have a guy on the outside, and use this to remind us both that Tyson Kidd is injured, and that he was injured at the hands of Dean Ambrose, and they put over how Dangerous Ambrose is.
We get a clip of Brodus Clay in the trainer’s room, getting his ankle looked at. Jack Swagger shows up and puts Brodus over for bravely fighting through the pain like an American would. He also puts over Brodus’ art of Funk dancing as representing the American spirit of Freedom of Expression (or something corny like that) and says that Brodus is worthy of a US Title shot.
WWE TITLE MATCH: Christian(c) (w/Paige) vs. Evan Bourne-
Christian wins clean (well… mostly clean… at least the finish is clean, but maybe some eye poking and stuff before that) in twenty minutes. The announcers put Bourne over huge for his great effort.
R-Truth puts out an angry Tout daring Ambrose to “try that sort of crap” with him again.
WWE.com reports a lot of news coming out of last night’s major episode of Raw, especially concerning Over The Limit. Three matches were made official as a result of last night’s show, and those matches are Brodu Clay challenging Jack Swagger for the US Title, CM Punk vs. Dolph Ziggler in a match with two referees, and Ryback vs. Luke Harper. Additionally, Naomi has now been added t the Divas Title match, and that match is now a Triple Threat Elimination Match!
Also on Raw, Alberto Del Rio, who stole Cody Rhodes’ Money in the Bank briefcase has been suspended for three days for feigning an illness and lying to WWE management.
In addition to these major news items, some of the events of last night’s raw have led to the shaping of the cards for the rest of this week’s WWE programming.
#1 contender Randy Orton once again attacked World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus on Raw, and put him down with an RKO, but this time, he did it in the middle of a match, causing Sheamus’ opponent, Mark Henry, to lose by DQ. An angry Henry exchanged words with Orton, which has led to them being booked against each other on this week’s edition of Superstars. Later in the night, after Randy Orton escaped Sheamus’ clutches and avoided a Brogue Kick, the angry Irishman took out his frustration on Orton’s protégé, Bo Dallas. Bo and Sheamus will face off this week on WWE’s Main Event.
Dean Ambrose once again intentionally got himself disqualified by using a weapon, and this time the recipient of his beatdown, R-Truth, has demanded a match with Ambrose… and he will get that match on Smackdown.
Additionally, to help himself get back to his dominant form from last year in preparation for his match with Luke Harper, Ryback has asked to face two opponents on this week’s editions of WWE Main Event and WWE Superstars, and WWE General Manager Stephanie McMahon has granted that wish.
Daniel Bryan will not be appearing on Main Event or Superstars because he has asked for some time off to train for his upcoming WWE Title ladder match with Christian. He will be back in action on Smackdown, though.
Main Event: (10/2/2013)
SHEAMUS vs. BO DALLAS (w/Randy Orton)-
Orton often feigns as if he is going to enter the ring, distracting Sheamus and allowing Bo toge the advantage. When Sheamus has Bo up for some sort of power move like a vertical suplex, Orotn does run in from behind to save Bo and hit Sheamus with an RKO.
R-TRUTH vs. HEATH SLATER-
Truth doesn’t rap on the way down to the ring. Instead he is silent, but you can tell that he is seething with rage inside. Truth pulls an Ambrose, grabbing a weapon and beating Heath down with it, getting intentionally DQed.
HANDICAP AMTCH: Hunico & Camacho vs. Ryback-
Ryback wins clean.
MIXED TAG TEAM MATCH: Damien Sandow, David Otunga, & Naomi vs. Layla El Zack Ryder, & Santino Marella-
Naomi pins Layla to win clean in eleven minutes.
Superstars: (10/3/2013)
HANDICAP MATCH: Ryback vs. Heath Slate r& Jinder Mahal-
Ryback squashes them both
NATALYA NEIDHART vs. PAIGE (w/Christian)-
Paige makes Nattie tap clean in seven minutes
MARK HENRY vs. RANDY ORTON (w/Bo Dallas)-
Orton wins clean in twenty minutes with the RKO.
Alberto Del Rio has asked to be interviewed live via satellite on Smackdown. WWE General Manager Stephanie McMahon has decided to allow the suspended Del Rio to appear in video form.
A main event of truly gigantic proportions has been signed for Smackdown! Kane will team with Mark Henry and Luke Harper to face the team of Big Show, Sheamus, and Ryback!
Smackdown: (10/4/2013)-Baton Rouge, LA
Smackdown opens with the Prime Time Players coming out to ringside. They say they want to do commentary for the opening match, which is…
INTERNATIONAL AIRSTRIKE 2.0 vs. TENSAI & ANTONIO CESARO (w/Aksana)-
Airstrike win clean in eight minute, stringing together a bunch of fast moves and pinning Tensai. On commentary PTP put them over and say that they have a lot of respect for Neville and Gabriel. Aft erthe match PTP come into the ring and raise Neville & Gabriel’s hands.
Randy Orton cuts a promo saying that his victory last night over Mark Henry proves what he has been proving to Sheamus for weeks now: the RKO can put anyone down, no matter how big, strong, or tough they are.
CM PUNK, EVAN BOURNE, BRODUS CLAY, & DANIEL BRYAN (w/AJ Bryan & Cameron) vs. DOLPH ZIGGLER, ROMAN REIGNS, DAMIEN SANDOW, & DAVID OTUNGA (w/Vickie Guerrero & Naomi)-
AJ and Naomi get into a brawl which results in them being ejected from ringside. The heels focus their offense on Brodus’ injured ankle, but he is able to make the hot tag to Punk. We get a bit of a schmoz with people taking turns hitting their finishers, on each other, and at one point Punk has Ziggler tapping to the Anaconda Vise, but the ref is distracted by Vickie and doesn’t see it. We get some tags and more schmoziness, more hitting of finishers on each other, and eventually a distraction by Vickie allows Ziggler to hit Punk with a low blow. The legal man on the heel team, Roman Reigns, takes advantage of this and spears Punk, then gets the pin on him to win the match for his team in about fifteen minutes.
After the match, as people are making their way to the back, Christian comes out and again attack Dragon with a ladder, doing the Terry Funk windmill spot to knock down all of Dragon’s teammates before advancing on the challenger himself, but Dragon is able to block it and kick the ladder into Christian’s face. Dragon then uses the ladder to apply some sort of submission hold to Christian. When Dragon releases the hold Christian scampers off, and while he does, Dragon cuts a promo about his newly-learned offensive skills with a ladder, and then introduces the man who taught them to him… the man who really made ladder matches famous: his trainer, Shawn Michaels. HBK comes out and cuts a promo putting Dragon over as the next WWE Champion and the future of the WWE for years to come.
AMBROSE vs. R-TRUTH-
Ambrose comes out first, then Truth. Both men have brought kendo sticks with them, but the ref makes them put them under the ring before allowing them in. Truth once again does not sing his entrance theme, but instead moves silently and with purpose, seething with anger. As Truth is climbing into the ring, Ambrose kicks the middle rope up into Truth’s groin and assaults him, giving him a Headlock DDT onto the apron. Ambrose then takes the ring steps apart and prepares to hit Truth with a Headlock DDT onto the stairs, but Seth Rollins runs out to the ring, swinging a kendo stick to make the save. Rollins manages to land a shot or two on Ambrose, who escapes through the crowd, though Rollins goes to give chase.
Truth receives medical attention, and we are informed that the match has been ruled a No Contest.
We get a backstage segment with Steph calling Vickie into her office. Steph notes how Vickie’s distractions tonight not only prevented the ref from seeing Punk make Ziggler tap, but also prevented the ref from seeing Ziggler hit Punk with a low blow. Steph says she wants the issue between Punk and Ziggler settled at Over The Limit without any controversy, so she bars Vickie from ringside for that match. Vickie protests, but Steph says that her word is final.
Paige cuts a promo saying that Naomi being added to the Divas Title match won’t change the fact that she will walk of out Over The Limit as the Divas Champion.
Alberto Del Rio does an interview via satellite with Michael Cole. Cole asks why Del Rio has been attacking Cody and why he stole MITB. Del Rio says he was just trying to help Cody use it right, because, let’s face it, with as much as he loses, Cody needs all of the help he can get… but Cody has rebuffed Del Rio’s advice and “lessons,” therefore he is unworthy of it, and it would much better serve the WWE if Del Rio had it.
Cody interrupts and says that if Del Rio wants a lesson, Cody will teach him the same one he taught Heath Slater and Antonio Cesaro: “Don’t mess with a Rhodes.” All Del Rio needs to do is stop being a coward and faking an illness and show up in a WWE ring. Del Rio responds that if Cody wants to wrestle him, he should put his MITB on the line against Del Rio at Over The Limit. Cody agrees.
HBK is cutting a backstage promo but gets attacked by Christian.
SHEAMUS, THE BIG SHOW, & RYBACK vs. MARK HENRY, LUKE HARPER, & KANE-
The match goes a while, though the people facing off at the PPV don’t wind up in the ring against each other often. Instead we focus on the match-ups between Sheamus and the three heels as well as Henry and Ryback matching feats of strength against each other by picking the other guys up.
The finish comes when Sheamus is gearing up to hit the Brogue Kick on Harper but Mark Henry comes into the ring, so Sheamus nails him with it instead. Orton then comes out and distracts Sheamus, allowing Harper to take advantage of the distraction and hit the Steamroller on Sheamus to get the pin. The announcers note the similarity between Sheamus and Harper’s finishing moves. After the match, Orton gets in the ring and brings the groggy Sheamus to his feet. He shouts “OVER THE LIMIT!” before hitting Sheamus with the RKO.

Re: BRM Books Raw 1,000 and beyond
WWE Over The Limit 2013: (10/5/2013)- Buffalo, NY
PRE-SHOW:
DREW MCINTYRE & MICHAEL MCGILLICUTTY vs. DAMIEN SANDOW & DAVID OTUNGA (w/Naomi)-
Otunga & Sandow win clean, pinning McIntyre in eight minutes
MAIN SHOW:
WWE WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: The Prime Time Players(c) vs. International Airstrike 2.0 (Justin Gabriel & Adrian Neville)-
PTP subtly play the role of the heels in this match, getting the heat on Airstrike and allowing Airstrike to make a big comeback. Airstrike have a great showing and get some close nearfalls, but PTP pull out the clean win in fifteen minutes (the real goal here is to get the crowd to be going nuts for Airstrike by the end of the match).
WWE UNITED STATES TITLE MATCH: Jack Swagger(c) vs. Brodus Clay (w/Cameron)-
Swagger gets the win making Brodus tap to the Patriot Act in nine minutes.
WINNER GETS THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MONEY IN THE BANK CONTRACT: Cody Rhodes(c) vs. Alberto Del Rio (w/Ricardo Rodriguez)-
Del Rio is in firm control of the match until Cody gets in a hope spot, but that hope spot results in a ref bump, and while Cody goes to check on the ref, Del Rio hits Cody with a low blow. Del Rio grabs the briefcase and lines up to hit Cody with hit, but Rey Mysterio Jr. jumps the barricade, grabs a chair, and creams Del Rio in the back of the head with it. Ricardo comes in, but he gets taken out as well. Rey then turns his attention back to Del Rio and sets up Del Rio’s head on the MITB briefcase, and gives him the equivalent of a one-person con-chair-to multiple times. Just absolutely VICIOUS stuff. Rey finally stops and leaves the arena. Cody crawls over and makes the cover on the now-bloody Del Rio, and when the ref recovers, he counts the pin (total time of about fifteen minutes).
TRIPLE THREAT ELIMINATION MATCH FOR THE WWE DIVAS TITLE: AJ Bryan(c) (w/Daniel Bryan) vs. Paige (w/Christian) vs. Naomi (w/Damien Sandow)-
The first fall comes at 7:09 when AJ makes Paige tap to the Octopus Stretch. Naomi tries to attack AJ from behind but AJ sees it coming and manages to lock Naomi into the Octopus Stretch. On the outside, Christian sneaks up behind Dragon and clips his knee from behind. Christian starts stomping away at Dragon’s knee and Paige gets him a steel chair. Seeing this, AJ releases the hold on Naomi and dives over the top rope onto both Paige and Christian, saving Dragon. AJ checks on Dragon, but she has taken her attention off of Naomi, who hits her with a baseball slide. Naomi brings AJ back into the ring and hits her finisher to win the Divas Title at about the eight minute mark.
LUKE HARPER vs. RYBACK-
Harper wins clean with the Steamroller in about nine minutes.
NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS REMATCH WITH VICKIE GUERRERO BARRED FROM RINGSIDE AND TWO REFEREES TO WATCH THE ACTION: Dolph Ziggler vs. CM Punk-
The outside referee catches Ziggler trying to use the ropes for leverage and also notices Punk's foot being on the ropes when the in-ring ref didn't. The finish comes when Ziggler blocks Punk's knee on the GTS and rolls Punk up with a small package, but Punk rolls it over into a small package of his own and pins Ziggler at about the twenty minute mark.
KANE vs. BIG SHOW-
They do big-man power stuff for about six minutes until Show sees an opening and catches Kane with a WMD, sending Kane down to the mat... and Kane sits right back up.
They fight some more, with Show kicking out of a chokeslam, until finally Show catches Kane with another WMD. Kane staggers, so Show hits him with another, sending Kane sprawling out on the mat. Show goes down to pin Kane, but Kane's hand shoots up and grabs Show by the throat (I love that spot so much!). Kane sits up, then stands up, keeping his grip around Big Show's throat, and hitting him with a chokesleam.
ONE!
TWO!
THRE-NO!
Show kicks out!
The frustrated Kane stands Show up and grabs him by the throat for another chokeslam, but Show swings out with a big right hand and catches Kane with a WMD!
Kane goes down! Show covers him:
ONE!
TWO!
THRE-NO!
Kane kicks out!
Shortly thereafter, Kane catches show with another chokeslam and picks up the pinfall victory at around eleven minutes
HARDCORE MATCH FOR THE WWE INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE: Seth Rollins(c) vs. Dean Ambrose-
Ambrose wins in twenty minutes of hardcore craziness, finishing Rollins off with the Headlock DDT onto the stairs that he tried to do to R-Truth on Smackdown.
WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: Sheamus(c) vs. Randy Orton (w/Bo Dallas)-
Sheamus is clearly focused on defending himself from the RKO, so Orton catches him by surprise when he goes for Sheamus' legs and works them over. Orton's real game plan is to focus on Sheamus' legs so that Sheamus won't be able to move or get up as quickly, opening him up for the big punt to the head. Sheamus manages to avoid Orton's attempts at the punt a few times, but Orton comes closer each time.
Sheamus eventually starts to make his comeback and goes for the Brogue Kick, but his injured legs slow him down and Randy is able to avoid it. Rather than the Brogue Kick, Sheamus starts to go for the High Cross, but Orton twists out of it and catches Sheamus with an RKO (the announcers put over how Orton's strategy had now tricked Sheamus into not thinking about the RKO so he could then hit it out of nowhere).
But it is only a nearfall.
As Sheamus is recovering, Orton goes to the corner to set up for the punt. Orton charges in and it doesn't seem like Sheamus will be able to move out of the way this time... but Sheamus instead lunges forward and catches the charging Orton with a huge spear. Sheamus then hits the Brogue Kick for the pin in about twenty-three minutes.
LAST CHANCE LADDER MATCH FOR THE WWE TITLE: Christian(c) (w/Paige) vs. Daniel Bryan (w/AJ Bryan)-
Paige tries to attack Dragon early on, but AJ comes over and brawls with her, and they brawl away backstage. The damage Christian did to Dragon's leg earlier tonight plays a big factor in the match, and Christian eventually wins in 25 minutes.

Re: BRM Books Raw 1,000 and beyond
Raw: (10/7/2013)- Pittsburgh, PA
Raw opens with Christian (& Paige) coming out and demanding that WWE throw him a party tonight on Raw to celebrate his victory over Daniel Bryan and his fiftieth day as WWE Champion. Steph comes out and tells Christian that she has not changed her mind since earlier today, and she will not be changing it at all (the announcers surmise that this is what his argument with Steph must have been about). Christian starts to make threats and tells Steph that she had better listen to him or she will be sorry. Steph tells Christian that she is his boss, so if he keeps making threats, he will be the one who is sorry. Christian starts to complain again, now complaining that Steph has it out for him. Steph responds o this by booking Christian vs. CM Punk for later tonight.
RANDY ORTON & BO DLLAS vs. JACK SWAGGER & EVAN BOURNE-
Bourne gets the best of Bo in the shine, but Orton manages to use his size advantage to cut Bourne off. Bourne plays the babyface in peril, and Bo and Orton concentrate on using their size advantage against him. Bourne eventually makes a hot tag to Swagger. The finish sees Bourne pinning Bo after an Air Bourne.
Del Rio comes out to the ring and demands that Steph give him a match with Rey Mysterio Jr. Steph tells him that she didn’t know that Rey was ready to return to the ring, so she can’t book Rey for matches until he is medically cleared, but all of the appointments are already set up for this week, and we should know before Smackdown starts if Rey will be cleared to return to the ring. Del Rio says that Rey being medically cleared is irrelevant, because after Del Rio gets his hands on him, he won’t be able to walk ever again.
Roman Reigns cuts a backstage promo on Evan Bourne. He says that Bourne has gotten some nice wins recently, but nothing like what Reigns himself did last week, beating both Randy Orton and CM Punk in the space of just a few days… yet somehow Bourne is the one getting all of the attention. Reigns says that he will prove that he deserves the attention by beating Bourne.
LUKE HARPER vs. DANIEL BRYAN (w/AJ Bryan)-
Harper wins clean in fifteen minutes. Dragon tries to chop the big man down by going after his legs, but Harper still manages to get the win with the Steam Roller.
Renee Young asks AJ and Dragon how they plan to continue pursuing their dream of being champions together now that Dragon is locked out of the WWE Title picture until Christian loses the belt. Renee also notes that they have had several chances at this in the past year and failed each time, aside from Summer Slam, when Christian stole their moment, and they have taken yet another step backwards not that AJ lost the Divas Title at Over The Limit.
AJ and Dragon respond that they are going to focus on one title at a time. AJ is entitled to a rematch with Naomi, which she will gets in three weeks at Hell in a Cell, and they will focus all of their efforts on AJ’s training. Then, once AJ has recaptured the Divas’ Title, they will focus their efforts on Dragon’s training so he can earn another world title shot.
CM PUNK vs. CHRISTIAN (w/Paige)-
After a few minutes, Christian walks out of his match and heads to the parking lot. Renee Young, who had been in place to get a reaction promo, asks Christian why he is walking out on the match. Christian cuts a promo saying he is the champ, so Steph needs to respect him. Until she does, he is taking his ball and going home.
Ryback cuts a backstage promo saying that he really hasn’t been himself over the past few months. He has lost to both Kane and Luke Harper, two dominant forces in the WWE. He, Ryback, was once the most dominant force in the WWE, and he vows to return to being the most dominant force in the WWE.
Ziggler cuts a backstage promo calling Punk’s roll-up victory last night at Over The Limit a fluke.
INTERNATIONAL AIRSTRIKE & THE PRIME TIME PLAYERS vs. HEATH SLATER, JINDER MAHAL, & THE COLONS (w/Rosa Mendes)-
PTP & Airstrike win when Darren Young pins Slater. The announcers put over that even after their tag title match they are still friends, and Airstrike’s disappointment at not winning the titles doesn’t get in the way of that.
Dean Ambrose cuts a promo saying he has no remorse for injuring his former best friend Seth Rollins. He has embraced the monster inside of him and now that he is letting it out, nothing will ever be the same again.
Naomi, Sandow, and Otunga cut a promo saying that now that Naomi has won the Divas Title, the Divas division finally has a champion with enough brains to back up her brawn. Unfortunately the same is not true of the tag team division, but they vow to fix that soon enough.
SHEAMUS, THE BIG SHOW, CODY RHODES & SIN CARA vs. KANE, WADE BARRETT, TENSAI, & ANTONIO CESARO (w/Aksana)-
The heels win clean when Kane pins Cara after a chokeslam.
Steph posts a video on WWE.com saying that she has agreed to give in to Christian’s demands and throw a party celebrating his fiftieth day as WWE Champion. She says that this party will be on Smackdown, and that she will have a number of special guests to congratulate Christian.

Re: BRM Books Raw 1,000 and beyond
WWE.com reports that Rey Mysterio Jr. has been cleared for action and will be at Smackdown tonight!... and his first opponent will be one of the men who helped to put him out of action, Primo Colon.
Right before the show, a bunch of wrestlers tweet about Rey and Del Rio getting into a brawl backstage
Smackdown: (10/11/2013)- Columbus, OH
Smackdown open with an angry Rey Mysterio making his way to the ring. He cuts a promo saying that every time he tries to come back, Del Rio tries to end his career, but he keeps coming back, and he will always keep coming back. He then talks about how he will repay Del Rio for all of the pain Del Rio has put him through over the last few years. Del Rio rushes out to the ring and they have another brawl, which is quickly broken up most of the locker room
Ziggler cuts a backstage promo in which he once again calls Punk’s victory at Over The Limit a fluke. All that happened is that Punk got lucky, just like Punk got lucky that Christian decided to walk out on their match on Raw. He says that Punk doesn’t have enough talent to beat Christian and he certainly doesn’t have enough talent to beat Ziggler.
EVAN BOURE vs. ROMAN REIGNS-
The announcers push this as a battle of the two big up-and-coming stars. Reigns wins clean in ten minutes, using his size advantage.
REY MYSTERIO JR. vs. PRIMO COLON (w/Rosa Mendes & Epico Colon)-
They brawl for a few minutes until Del Rio comes out and attacks Rey, causing a DQ. The locker room once again comes out to pull them apart. While they are being held back, Del Rio challenges Rey to another Hell in a Cell match, and says that this time he will do it right and really end Rey’s career for good.
LUKE HARPER vs. MARK HENRY-
Harper wins clean in ten minutes after a Steam Roller.
PTP cut a backstage promo saying that they respect International Airstrike a lot and that they wish them lots of success, but they are done with them until they earn another title shot. Renee asks them about Sandow and Otunga’s comments from Raw. Titus says that if Sandow & Otunga want a title shot, PTP will give them the opportunity to prove themselves on Raw.
DAMIEN SANDOW & DAVID OTUNGA (w/Naomi) vs. JACK SWAGGER & ZACK RYDER-
Sandow & Otunga win clean in six minutes, pinning Ryder.
ALBERTO DEL RIO (w/Ricardo Rodriguez) vs. SIN CARA-
The match ends by DQ when Del Rio hits Cara with a blatant low blow. He orders Ricardo to get him a chair and uses the chair to apply the cross armbreaker, breaking Cara’s arm.
CODY RHODES vs. DEAN AMBROSE-They wrestle for about two minutes before Ambrose deliberately gets himself DQed by attacking Cody with the belt. After beating Cody down, Ambrose grabs a mic and demands as Intercontinental Champion and as the hardcore monster of the WWE, that all of his matches be hardcore matches.
Punk cuts an in-ring promo saying that calling his roll-up win a fluke is just Ziggler making excuses. Punk didn’t get lucky. Luck is for losers. Punk beat him fair and square and Ziggler needs to acknowledge that. After a few moments Ziggler comes out and says that maybe Punk is right and that it wasn’t a fluke and that he should just admit that Punk was the better man that night and shake his hand.
Ziggler extends his hand, and Punk accepts the handshake.
LOW BLOW BY ZIGGL- NO! PUNK CAUGHT IT! Ziggler takes a swing at Punk with the mic, but Punk pulls Ziggler’s leg up, causing Dolph to lose his balance and fall flat on his back. Ziggler gets up and charges at Punk for a clothesline, but Punk ducks it and pulls the top rope down, and Ziggler’s momentum sends him tumbling to the floor. A furious, frustrated Dolph storms off, pulling his hair out and shouting “FLUKE!” upset at being made a complete and total fool of by CM Punk.
RYBACK vs. RANDY ORTON (w/Bo Dallas)-
Ryback wins clean in fifteen minutes. After getting the win, Ryback grabs the mic and declares that “RYBACK IS BACK!”
Renee Young is interviewing Alberto Del Rio. She gives us a medical update on Sin Cara, saying that Del Rio broke his arm, and asks Del Rio why he did it. Del Rio said he broke Cara’s arm because Cara is Rey’s friend. Rey jumps Del Rio from behind and they have another pull-apart brawl.
A CELEBRATION OF CHRISTIAN AS THE WWE CHAMPION-
Steph has the ring decked out with red carpet and all of that jazz. She stands on the stage and introduces Christian, who arrogantly struts down to the ring. She then says that she tried to get some of his former tag team partners to show up, but none of them did. They did, however, send in taped messages, which Steph plays:
We get pre-taped promos from Lance Storm, Chris Jericho, and finally Edge, all insulting Christian.
Steph then says that there was one former partner of Christian’s who didn’t refuse to show up tonight… Kofi Kingston’s music hits and he charges down to the ring, brawls with Christian, and takes him out with Trouble in Paradise. Smackdown ends with Kofi standing tall over the fallen Christian, and holding up the WWE Title.

Re: BRM Books Raw 1,000 and beyond
Tonight’s main event will be the Wrestlemania rematch originally scheduled for the 9/27 Smackdown: World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus vs. The Big Show!
Stephanie McMahon puts out a Tout declaring that she is sick and tired of these backstage brawls. She says that Rey and Del Rio cannot touch each other unless it is in the confines of an official match.
Raw: (10/14/2013)- St. Louis, MO
Christian cuts a promo accusing Steph of setting him up, and using the pretense of the celebration for him to make him look bad and to sick Kofi Kingston on him. Steph comes out and says that Christian is damn right that she set him up. He might be the WWE Champion, but she is a McMahon, dammit, and no one coerces or pushes a McMahon around without consequences! Because Christian walked out of his match against CM Punk last week, it means that Punk got a count-out victory over the WWE Champion, and a victory over the WWE Champion is a great way to get a title shot, so Punk and Christian will face off again tonight, but this time it will be for the WWE Title… and if Christian walks out of the match or gets himself intentionally DQed, Steph will strip him of the title. And that match is next!
WWE TITLE MATCH: Christian(c) (w/Paige) vs. CM Punk-
Punk appears to have the match won, but heel shenanigans allow Ziggler to interfere undetected and cost Punk the match.
REY MYSTERIO JR. vs. HEATH SLATER-
Rey wins clean in four minutes, hitting all of his signature spots. The announcers point out Rey’s family & his trainer at ringside to support him for his first match back (if you want to kayfabe Rey Jr. and Rey Sr. as father and son, do that).
Renee Young asks Kofi why he is going after his former tag team partner Christian. Kofi cuts a promo saying that when Kane assaulted Christian back on the 6/17 Raw, Kofi came out to help him, but one week later, when Kane was destroying Kofi, Christian just left him for dead. He says that he won’t beat Christian up and leave him for dead, because that wouldn’t be enough punishment. Instead, he is going to take the thing that Christian values most: his WWE Title.
ROMAN REIGNS vs. BRODUS CLAY (w/Cameron)-
Reigns wins clean in eight minutes
Del Rio comes out to the ring and says the fact that Rey kept coming back last week has reminded him that Rey ALWAYS keeps coming back. Like the little dog that he is, it doesn’t matter how many times Del Rio kicks him. Rey just keeps on coming back to Del Rio and costing him chances at titles. Therefore Del Rio has realized that the only way to ensure that Rey stays away forever is with a retirement stipulation. He demands that Rey put his career on the line… and he will break Rey Mysterio Sr.’s arm if Rey doesn’t. Del Rio drags Rey Mysterio Sr. over the barricade and locks him in the cross armbreaker. This forces Rey to come out and attack Del Rio, thus violating the “they can’t touch each other rule.” Ricardo hits Rey with a chair, then pulls some handcuffs out of his jacket and handcuffs Rey to the ropes while Del Rio puts Rey Sr. back into the cross armbreaker until Rey agrees to put his career on the line in Hell in a Cell
DEAN AMBROSE vs. ZACK RYDER-
Ambrose attacks Ryder with his Intercontinental Title belt right off the bat. He grabs a chair and continues to beat Ryder down. Cody Rhodes charges out with a steel chair of his own and makes the save, actually getting the better of Ambrose in their weapons brawl.
THE PRIME TIME PLAYERS vs. DAVID OTUNGA & DAMIEN SANDOW (w/Naomi)-
Before the match, Titus gets on the mic and says that if Sandow & Otunga can beat them they will get a title shot.
Sandow & Otunga win via Eddie Guerrero chair shenanigans, getting PTP DQed.
Renee Young is interviewing Randy Orton (& Bo Dallas) about Randy’s match tonight, in his hometown, against Dolph Ziggler. Randy starts to talk, but someone rushes up and interrupts, telling Bo that the hotline number which is shown at the beginning of every WWE broadcast and is on the WWE website has just gotten a tip from someone claiming to have seen Bo’s missing cousin, Husky Harris. Bo rushes off with this person.
RANDY ORTON vs. DOLPH ZIGGLER (w/Vickie Guerrero)-
Vickie distracts the ref, allowing Ziggler to use heel tactics to take control of the match. At one point when this is happening, Punk comes out and gives Ziggler a kick in the head, setting him up for the RKO, giving Orton the win.
After the match, Steph comes out and says that she is so sick and tired of this BS between Punk and Ziggler, so she is going to have them settle their feud this week on Main Event in a 2-out-of-3 falls match!
Renee Young asks Mark Henry for a comment on his loss to Luke Harper on Smackdown. Henry says that he was in a good mood until Renee reminded him of his loss, but now he is angry and needs to go work off some frustration
EVAN BOURNE vs. WADE BARRETT-
Bourne wins clean in eight minutes. Barrett controls the beginning of the match with his size advantage, but Bourne starts to use his speed to take over. Jack Swagger was on commentary for this match, putting over both men as potential challengers to the US Title.
We get a quick video package of AJ and Dragon training. Cole and Lawler start talking about it a bit, but are quickly interrupted when Cole gets news of an incident going on in the back. We cut a camera running towards something. It rounds the corner, and we see Mark Henry standing over a fallen Kane. Mark shouts his catchphrase: “THAT’S WHAT I DO!”
RYBACK vs. THE GREAT KHALI-
Ryback wins clean in seven minutes
WRESTLEMANIA XXIX REMATCH: Sheamus vs. The Big Show-
Sheamus wins clean with the Brogue Kick in seventeen minutes. After the match, Luke Harper comes down to ringside and knocks Sheamus out with the Steam Roller.
Steph puts out a Tout saying that she will deal with the Rey-Del Rio situation on Smackdown.
WWE.com hypes this week’s WWE Main Event as possibly the most must-see episode of the show in its year-long history. First we will see Kofi Kingston return to action for the first time in four months. Kofi says he is coming after the WWE Title, but how will he fare after having been away from the ring for so long? He will face a major test in the form of the World Heavyweight Title Money in the Bank Contract Holder Cody Rhodes.
Another superstar returning to WWE Television on Main Event will be former Divas’ Champion AJ Bryan. She and her husband Daniel have spent the last eight days training rigorously for AJ’s rematch for the Divas Title at Hell in a Cell. Will this training have paid off, or will the Bryans need to go back to the drawing board? We’ll find out when AJ faces Layla El.
And the main event of Main Event will truly one for the ages: CM Punk and Dolph Ziggler have spent months arguing over who is the “best in the world.” Each man has beaten the other once, though Ziggler insists that Punk’s roll-up victory at Over The Limit was a fluke. On Main Event, a fluke will not be enough to ensure victory as they face off in a two-out-of three falls match!
Main Event: (10/16/2013)
KOFI KINGSTON vs. CODY RHODES-
Kofi wins clean in nine minutes
AJ BRYAN (w/Daniel Bryan) vs. LAYLA EL-
AJ completely dominates the match. Not in the squash kind of way, but she just plain out-wrestles and out-quicks Layla all match before getting the quick win via Shining Wizard in about three minutes
2 OUT OF 3 FALLS MATCH: CM Punk vs. Dolph Ziggler-
They get the rest of the time left on the show, which should be a bit over twenty-five minutes. Punk wins the first fall by roll-up, Ziggler wins the second fall by a different type of roll-up. As the match goes longer and longer, the announcers emphasize how important endurance and conditioning are. The third fall is a double-count after Punk hits a dive onto Ziggler and both men are just too exhausted to make it back to the ring.
Superstars: (10/17/2013)
Ambrose promo: He says Cody got the best of him in a hardcore situation and that is not okay with him. He wants a hardcore match against Cody on Smackdown.
EVAN BOURNE vs. THE BIG SHOW-
Bourne fights as hard as he can, but he just can’t overcome the size disadvantage. He flits around the ring as quickly as he can, trying to tire Big Show out, but Big Show manages to catch him with a WMD for the pin in about ten minutes
KOFI KINGSTON vs. ANTONIO CESARO (w/Aksana)-
Kofi wins clean in twenty minutes

Re: BRM Books Raw 1,000 and beyond
R-Truth puts out a Tout saying that he is coming for Ambrose, and everyone had better stay out of his way.
Several big matches have been signed for tonight’s Smackdown. First, Daniel Bryan will return to action after taking a week and a half off to help his wife AJ train for her Divas Title match against Naomi at Hell in a Cell. He will face another man who recently returned to action… Kofi Kingston.
Another big match signed is a hardcore match between Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose and World Heavyweight Title Money in the Bank Contract Holder Cody Rhodes. Ambrose made the challenge last night on Superstars and Cody wasted no time going to WWE General Manager Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley and accepting it.
Smackdown: (10/18/2013)- Kansas City, MO
Steph announces that Del Rio has been suspended for a week and a half for attacking a fan, with the suspension retroactively going back to Tuesday, since he wasn’t booked on Tuesday night’s live event or Main Event or Superstars.
As for Rey, she understands his actions, but she has to put her foot down a bit, so Rey has received a heavy fine for his actions and will not be wrestling on tonight’s show. That being said, she will allow Rey to come out and address the status of the challenge Del Rio made on Raw. Following tonight, though, to keep them apart until this entire feud dies down, Rey will only be appearing on Raw and Del Rio will only be appearing on Smackown.
Rey comes out and says that despite the fact that he was under duress when agreed to put his career on the line in a Hell in a Cell match against Alberto Del Rio, he will go through with it anyway. He says that if he can’t effectively protect those closest to him from someone like Del Rio, then he doesn’t deserve to be in the WWE. He vows to pay Del Rio back tenfold for all of the pain he has caused him since he debuted in WWE three years ago.
Renee Young asks Sheamus if he knows why Luke Harper attacked him on Raw. Sheamus says he really doesn’t care. If Harper is looking for a fight, he’s game.
HARDCORE MATCH: Cody Rhodes vs. Dean Ambrose-
They fight. Ambrose gains an advantage, but Truth comes out and attacks Ambrose. Ambrose is on the run from the babyfaces, but at one point ducks a shot from one of them which almost hits the other. The babyfaces argue, allowing Ambrose to grab the IC Title and hit Cody in the back of the head with it. Truth goes after Ambrose, but Ambrose kicks him in the nuts and whips him hard into the stairs. Ambrose pins Cody for the win.
Otunga & Sanodw cut a promo about how they used their smarts to defeat the tag champs on Raw and say that if PTP are men of their word, they will give them a WWE World Tag Team Title match at Hell in a Cell.
RYBACK vs. EZEKIEL JACKSON-
Ryback wins clean in three minutes. After the match, he lets out his “RYBACK IS BACK!” battlecry.
Renee Young is interviewing the Bryans. Dragon talks about his return to the ring tonight against Kofi, putting Kofi over as being a tough challenge and a guy who is ready to break into the main event scene. Renee then complements AJ on her absolutely dominating win against Layla on Main Event and asks her about her new finisher. AJ says it is one more move she has added to her repertoire. Layla comes up to them and puts over AJ’s hard work. She jokingly says “I guess I need to put more work in, too, if I’m ever going to win the Divas Title again.
MARK HENRY vs. EVAN BOURNE-
Bourne does his best to overcome Henry’s size and power advantage, but he can’t prevent Henry from throwing him around like a rag doll. Bourne tries to use the ropes to get more momentum behind his moves, but Henry he is still having trouble budging Henry. At one point Henry catches Bourne and throws him across the ring, accidentally hitting the referee. Bourne and Henry just ignore the ref bump and keep on wrestling. After Bourne finally manages to get Henry to budge and stumble backwards a few steps, Henry cuts him off by locking on the world’s strongest bearhug and just squeezes the life out of Bourne. Kane comes out with a steel pipe and hits Henry in the back of the head with it, causing him to drop Bourne. Kane now hits Henry full-on in the face with the pipe, knocking him out and causing him to fall flat on his back. Kane then grabs the limp Bourne, picks him up, and chokeslams him onto Henry before leaving. The ref recovers and, seeing Bourne on top of Henry, counts the pinfall.
Renee Young is interviewing CM Punk about the inconclusive finish to his 2 out of 3 falls match on Main Event with Dolph Ziggler. Punk says that it was a draw. Sometimes that’s just the way things go… though he does point out that if it was a normal match, he would have won because he got the first fall, but it wasn’t so he is just going to have to wait for Steph to sign a rematch. He says that in the mean time, he’ll find something else to concentrate on… like the WWE Title.
Ziggler shows up and gets in Punk’s face, saying that his roll-up pinfall was another fluke. Punk points out that Ziggler, too, won his fall by roll-up, but Ziggler insists that his was all skill, which is something Punk wouldn’t know anything about. He suggests that Punk watch his match tonight and maybe he will learn something.
INTERNATIONAL AIRSTRIKE vs. DOLPH ZIGGLER & CHRISTIAN (w/Vickie Guerrero & Paige)-
Ziggler & Christian win mostly clean in eleven minutes, though Air Strike get to show off their cool high-flying moves.
Evan Bourne cuts a backstage promo saying that he was disappointed with the way his match with mark Henry tonight went and says that he didn’t deserve the win. Jack Swagger comes up to him and says that he did the best he could and didn’t give up, despite unfathomable odds, and that is a very American thing to do, so Swagger will talk to Steph about getting Bourne a US Title match at Hell in a Cell.
SHEAMUS & ANTONIO CESARO (w/Aksana) vs. THE BIG SHOW & RANDY ORTON (w/Bo Dallas)-
Before the match, Bo cuts a promo informing us that he spent two days with a WWE crew chasing down the lead WWE was given about a sighting of his missing cousin, Husky Harris, but it turned out to be a false lead. He says that he isn’t going to give up hope and urges anyone with any info about Husky’s whereabouts to call the hotline right away.
The announcers use the fact that two Europeans are teaming together to promote the upcoming UK tour. The match goes about eight minutes. Big Show pins Cesaro after a WMD. Ryback watches from the ramp, and smiles and nods his head after the finish.
Luke Harper cuts a promo talking about how dominant a champion Sheamus has been. He says that while Sheamus has been one of the most dominant champions in history, he hasn’t been anywhere near as dominant as Harper has in the WWE. He has never been pinned. Never been made to submit. Never even been counted out or disqualified. He has beaten just about every big name WWE has to offer, including many former world champions. He is taller than Sheamus, heavier than Sheamus, faster than Sheamus, and Younger than Sheamus. His Steam Roller is more effective than Sheamus’ Brogue Kick. He is a bigger, better Sheamus, and he is going to prove it by being the man to finally take the World Heavyweight Title from Sheamus.
KOFI KINGSTON vs. DANIEL BRYAN (w/AJ Bryan)-
Kofi wins clean in twenty minutes
Christian is on commentary for this match, and he tries to downplay Kofi’s victories since returning, especially this win over Dragon, who Christian points out that he has already beaten multiple times. After the match, Steph comes out and announces that she is giving Kofi a WWE Title match against Christian at Hell in a Cell.
WWE.com posts exclusive footage from backstage after Smackdown of Christian and Steph arguing. Christian says it is ridiculous to give Kofi a WWE Title match because he has only beaten three guys. Christian says there are other guys out there who deserve it more. Steph suggests CM Punk, noting how Ziggler screwed Punk out of the WWE Title on Raw. Christian counters by saying that Ziggler deserves a WWE Title shot. Steph says that she will humor Christian here, and makes a match for Raw: Ziggler vs. Kofi, with the winner getting a WWE Title match at Hell in a Cell… but Steph warns Christian that even if Ziggler wins, Kofi will be getting a match against Christian at some point.
WWE.com reports that the US Title match between Jack Swagger and Evan Bourne has been made official and has been added to the card for Hell in a Cell. There will be a contract signing for that match live tonight on Raw.
Also signed for tonight’s Raw is a hardcore grudge match between R-Truth and the man who put him out of action at the beginning of the month, Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose.
Bo Dallas will not be on Raw tonight because he is doing charity stuff somewhere.
Because this might be Rey Mysterio Jr’s last ever Raw, WWE General Manager Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley has allowed Rey to pick the opponent of his choice for tonight’s main event. Rey has said that to he prepare for his upcoming Hell in a Cell match against Alberto Del Rio, he needs someone who will put him through hell in the ring… and there is no one who can bring the fight like the Viper, Randy Orton! Rey has also asked that this be a No Disqualification match and Orton has agreed.
Steph tweets that Vickie will be barred from ringside during tonight’s #1 contendership match.
Raw: (10/21/2013)- Memphis, TN
RYBACK vs. WADE BARRETT-
Ryback wins clean in seven minutes. After the match, he shouts “RYBACK IS BACK!”
Renee Young interviews Vickie Guerrero. She asks her how she thinks Dolph will fare in tonight’s #1 contendership match without Vickie out there with him. Vickie says that she has full confidence that Dolph will win tonight because Dolph is better than every other WWE superstar in every conceivable way. She says that Dolph is a better mat technician than Dragon, stronger than Mark Henry, faster than Evan Bourne, a better high-flyer than Adrian Neville and Justin Gabriel, and more resilient than John Cena. If he wanted to, he could be a better Sheamus than Sheamus and Luke Harper put together. He is more dashing than Cody Rhodes ever was and is so much smarter than anyone else there is no comparison.
I mean… can you believe that some superstars are dumb enough to let Randy Orton talk them into taking time off when they could be getting paid? And that some people are dumb enough to challenge a hardcore monster to hardcore match? Dolph Ziggler would never do that! And he certainly isn’t dumb enough to go leave someone alone at ringside because someone gave a fake tip to a hotline!
In fact, the only category that someone has Dolph beat in is luck. CM Punk is luckier than Dolph is, which is the only reason Punk ever got a pinfall on Dolph, but sooner or later Punk’s luck will run out and Dolph will prove his superiority over Punk, too. This #1 contendership match is just the first step in Dolph taking his rightful place at the top of the WWE as the WWE Champion!
US TITLE MATCH CONTRACT SIGNING- Both Bourne and Swagger are ready to sign the contract, but first Swagger asks to say a few words about Evan Bourne. He puts Bourne over for having the never-say-die attitude and hard work ethic of a true American and someone who is worthy to hold this title, and that is why Swagger asked Steph to give Bourne this title shot.
At this point Randy Orton comes out to ringside and says “isn’t it strange how Jack Swagger always gets to pick the challengers for his US Title… and how he always does so after carefully observing them and determining their weaknesses so he can go after them?
With Cody Rhodes at Night of Champions it was an amalgamation of injuries. Then with Brodus Clay at Over The Limit it was his injured knee. Now, with Evan Bourne, he has noticed what a lot of us have noticed; Mr. Bourne has great difficulty overcoming his size disadvantage. How much do you want to bet that, at Hell in a Cell, Jack Swagger drops his usual submission game starts tossing Bourne around like a rag doll?
Swagger says that he has been giving title shots to people he thinks have shown the American spirit, etc. etc. but he is a fighting champion, and if it will shut up Randy’s BS accusations, he will let Randy in on the match, too… if it is okay with Bourne. Bourne says that Randy is just another challenge to overcome, and it is okay with him. Steph says that she will have new contracts drawn up for a Triple Threat match instead.
Henry assaults Kane backstage and beats him down with weapons. Henry shouts “THAT’S WHAT I DO!” and walks away. As the segment ends and we go to commercial, we hear Kane scream “you will SUFFER for this!”
We get a video package with Rey talking up his career and his feud with Del Rio to hype up their Hell in a Cell match with Rey’s career on the line. Rey says that he isn’t done wrestling yet.
WINNER GETS A WWE TITLE MATCH AT HELL IN A CELL: Kofi Kingston vs. Dolph Ziggler (w/Vickie Guerrero)-
Christian interferes and tries to screw Kofi, but Punk comes out to counter this interference and they brawl. Kofi eventually picks up the win.
Cody Rhodes cuts a backstage promo saying that he and Ambrose aren’t finished and he is coming for Ambrose tonight. R-Truth comes up and tells Cody to stay out of his match with Ambrose tonight. Cody says that might be a hard favor for him to grant, seeing as how he would have beaten Ambrose and earned an Intercontinental Title match if Truth had kept his nose out of Cody’s business on Smackdown.
AJ BRYAN (w/Daniel Bryan) vs. CAMERON (w/Brodus Clay)-
AJ wins clean in two minutes with the Shinning Wizard.
Punk cuts a promo saying that he only interfered in the #1 Contendership match to even the odds, but says that he is glad that Kofi won because Ziggler’s inability to be a man and accept that Punk pinned him clean makes him unworthy for a WWE Title shot.
BIG SHOW vs. TENSAI-
Show wins clean in six minutes. Ryback comes out to watch the match from the stage. After the match he tells Big Show that he is on a quest to once again become the most dominant force in the WWE… and he can think of no better way to do that than to face the biggest challenge he can find. He challenges Big Show to a match at Hell in a Cell, and Big Show accepts.
We rush backstage to where Kane has apparently assaulted Mark Henry from behind with some weapons and taken him down. Kane laughs and walks away.
CM PUNK vs. ROMAN REIGNS-
Ziggler comes out and distracts Punk, allowing Reigns to spear him and get the win. Steph comes out and says that she is sick and tired of them interfering in each other’s matches and complaining about win’s being flukes or referees missing calls, so she has devised a way to end this once and for all. At Hell in a Cell, Punk and Ziggler will face off in a match where “fluke” roll-ups or missed calls won’t prevent the better man from eventually coming out on top: a 30 minute Iron Man match.
We cut backstage to Steph’s office where she announces that because Kane and Mark Henry seem to like fighting each other backstage so much, they will have a Falls Count Anywhere match at Hell in a Cell
HARDCORE MATCH: Dean Ambrose vs. R-Truth-
Cody tries to attack Ambrose during the match and it turns into a three-way brawl. While Truth and Cody are fighting, Ambrose takes the time to recover. He pulls a ladder out from under the ring and takes both men out with it Terry Funk windmill style, then pins Truth to win the match.
PTP cut a promo saying that even though Sandow & Otunga’s win was BS, they are men of their word, so they will give them a title match at Hell in a Cell. They point out that Sandow & Otunga won’t be able to win the titles with a phony DQ; only with hard work… and working hard is what The Real Deal & Mr. No Days Off have built their careers around.
LUKE HARPER vs. ANTONIO CESARO (w/Aksana)-
Harper wins clean in eight minutes
Sheamus cuts a promo saying that if Harper wanted a World Heavyweight Title match, all he had to do was ask. As for being a “bigger, better Sheamus,” though… that’s a load of bull. Sheamus says that no one can beat him at his own game. Harper might be bigger and stronger and maybe even faster, but no one is a better brawler because no one is tougher than Sheamus.
INTERNATIONAL AIRSTRIKE 2.0, THE USOS, & SANTINO MARELLA vs. JINDER MAHAL, MICHAEL MCGILLICUTTY, DREW MCINTYRE, & THE COLONS (w/Rosa Mendes)-

Renee Young is interviewing Sandow, Otunga,& Naomi. She asks Naomi for some thoughts on AJ’s new focus and deadly new finisher. Naomi says that she isn’t scared and that she will use her brains to retain the Divas Title. NO DISQUALIFICATION MATCH: Randy Orton vs. Rey Mysterio Jr.-
Rey wins in twenty minutes.
Dragon puts out a Tout saying that Vickie can run her mouth and say that Dolph is a better technician than he is, but he would like to see Dolph prove it.

WWE.com reports puts out an article saying that Dolph Ziggler might wind up regretting Vickie Guerrero’s praises of him on Raw. As seen in his Tout, Daniel Bryan wants the show-off to prove that Ziggler is a better technical wrestler than he is… and Ziggler will get the chance to do that on Main Event. Bryan wasn’t the only WWE superstar who wants Ziggler to prove the brags that his manager Vickie Guerrero made this week on Raw, though, and Ziggler will face Adrian Neville this week on Superstars.
Also signed for Main Event is Antonio Cesaro vs. Ryback and R-Truth vs. Curt Hawkins.
Other matches signed for Superstars include Cody Rhodes vs. Tensai, Evan Bourne vs. Justin Gabriel, Roman Reigns vs. Santino Marella, and a big six diva main event tag team match pitting the Chickbusters & Natalya again Alicia Fox, Paige, & the Divas Champion, Naomi.

They wrestle for about two minutes before Bo Dallas comes out and attacks Dolph, causing a DQ. Dolph manages to run away from the enraged Bo and hightails it out of the arena.
Dragon says that he still wants to wrestle tonight, so he makes an open challenge to anyone in the back. It is answered by CM Punk.
CM PUNK vs. DANIEL BRYAN (w/AJ Bryan)-
Punk wins clean in sixteen minutes, pinning Dragon after a GTS

RYBACK vs. ANTONIO CESARO (w/Aksana)-
Ryback wins clean in ten minutes. After the match, he shouts “RYBACK IS BACK!”
Bo puts out a tweet saying that calling in a false top to the Have You Seen Husky Harris hotline just to get him away from ringside for Dolph’s match against Orton on Raw last week is WAY over the line, and he will make Ziggler pay!
Superstars: (10/24/2013)
EVAN BOURNE vs. JUSTIN GABRIEL (w/Adrian Neville)
Bourne wins clean in seven minutes
CODY RHODES vs. TENSAI-
Cody wins clean in eight minutes. After the match, Cody grabs the mic and says that he wants to face Ambrose for the IC Title at Hell in a Cell.
DOLPH ZIGGLER (w/Vickie Guerrero) vs. ADRIAN NEVILLE (w/Justin Gabriel)
They wrestle for about a minute before Bo Dallas comes out and attacks Dolph, causing a DQ. Dolph once again manages to escape Bo and runs away through the crowd.
ROMAN REIGNS vs. SANTINO MARELLA-
Reigns squashes Santino in two minutes
NATALYA NEIDHART & THE CHICKBUSTERS (w/Daniel Bryan) vs. ALICIA FOX, PAIGE, & NAOMI (w/Damien Sandow, David Otunga, & Christian)-
The story of the match is AJ trying to hit Naomi with the Shining Wizard, but Naomi is always saved at the last second, either by one of her teammates coming in illegally or Sandow or Otunga reaching into the ring and pulling her out of the way. Naomi decides she has had enough and walks off. Soon after that, AJ hits Alicia with the Shining Wizard and gets the pin.
WWE.com announces that R-Truth will face Cody Rhodes in a #1 contendership match tonight on Smackdown and the winner will face Dean Ambrose for the Intercontinental Title at Hell in a Cell in a hardcore match.
Meant to get everything through the PPV done tonight but didn't have the chance. I should have everything through Survivor Series 2013 up by tomorrow night.

Sandow and Otunga says that they will do the same to win the WWE World Tag Team Titles on Sunday because brains wins out over brawn every time.

Re: BRM Books Raw 1,000 and beyond
WWE.com announces that R-Truth will face Cody Rhodes in a #1 contendership match tonight on Smackdown and the winner will face Dean Ambrose for the Intercontinental Title at Hell in a Cell in a hardcore match.
The main event of Smackdown will be a tag team match pitting Dolph Ziggler and the WWE Champion, Christian against CM Punk and the #1 contender to the WWE Title, Kofi Kingston. Other matches signed include AJ Bryan vs. Aksana, the Prime Time Players vs. The Usos, Kane facing the #1 contender to the World Heavyweight Title, Luke Harper.
Smackdown: (10/25/2013)- Birmingham, AL
THE PRIME TIME PLAYERS vs. THE USOS-
PTP win clean in seven minutes, but the Usos get in some spots that show off their crazy diving ability and hangtime.
Renee Young is backstage interview Dolph Ziggler. She asks Dolph if Bo’s claim about him calling in a false tip to the Have You Seen Husky Harris hotline last week on Raw is true or not. Ziggler admits that it is true, but says that the real reason that Bo is attacking him is that Bo is just angry that he fell for it. Bo charges towards them and attacks Ziggler, and they have a short brawl that ends with Ziggler getting his hands on a steel pipe and leaving Bo bloody. He says that he and Christian will do the same thing to Punk and Kofi tonight in the main event.
We are about to have a new contract signing for the US Title match when Roman Reigns comes out and says that he has recently beaten both challengers (Orton on the 9/30 Raw and Bourne on the 10/11 Smackdown) so he deserves a US Title shot, too. Bourne, Swagger, and Orton are all okay with this, so Steph now makes the match a fatal four way.
Dean Ambrose cuts a promo saying that it doesn’t matter who wins tonight’s #1 contendership match. The match at Hell in a Cell will be a hardcore match, and no one can beat the hardcore monster in a hardcore match.
LUKE HARPER vs. KANE- the two titans face off for a few minutes before Mark Henry interferes, attacking Kane and causing a DQ. Kane and Henry brawl away through the crowd as we go to commercial.
When we come back from commercial, Harper is in the ring with a mic. He says that people don’t understand what he means when he says he is a bigger, better, Sheamus, so he will show them. He says that when he first signed his WWE contract in early 2012 and he saw how dominant Sheamus was, he decided to mold his style after Sheamus’ because he was bigger and faster than Sheamus, and if it worked for Sheamus, it would almost certainly work for him.
So he started adopting Sheamus’ style and steamrolled through everyone on NXT and then he got called up to WWE and he has steamrolled through everyone in WWE, just like Sheamus has… but he has done it even faster and even more dominantly. He has been preparing for this match since the day he signed with the WWE and nothing will stop him from being the man to finally defeat Sheamus and win the World Heavyweight Title.
Sheamus comes out and says that he is flattered that Harper thought highly enough of him to mold his style after him, but there is only one Sheamus. Harper might be taller and heavier and maybe even faster, but no one is tougher than Sheamus.
Harper says he will prove Sheamus wrong about that right now. They start to brawl and each throw similar big, clubbing punches. Sheamus gets the advantage and goes for the Brogue Kick but Harper blocks it. He then hits Sheamus with a huge discuss clothesline, and as Sheamus recovers, Harper lays him out with the Steamroller.
Sandow & Otunga cut a promo saying that they will use their smarts to win the tag titles.
We get a video package of Del Rio talking about his feud with Rey and how much he hates Rey. He tells the WWE Universe that he will do everything in his power to ensure that Hell in a Cell will be the last time they will ever see Rey Mysterio again. Throwing him off the roof of the cell last year didn’t do the trick… so this year Del Rio will throw Rey off the roof of the cage twice… and if Rey still gets up, he’ll do it a third time. And a fourth. And however many times it takes to finally rid the WWE of Rey Mysterio Jr. once and for all.
AJ BRYAN (w/Daniel Bryan) vs. AKSANA (w/Antonio Cesaro)-
Naomi is on commentary for this match. She denies being afraid of AJ’s new finisher, and claims that walking out of the match last night on Superstars was a “strategic decision” that people who aren’t as smart as her, Sandow, and Otunga won’t be able to comprehend. Dragon and Cesaro get into an argument at ringside, so the ref sends them both to the back. AJ wins clean in four minutes with the Shining Wizard. As she is celebrating, Naomi tries to attack her from behind with the Divas Title belt, but AJ ducks it, hits Naomi with a dropkick, then lays her out with the Shining Wizard. We go to commercial with the visual of AJ holding up the Divas Title.
Ryback & Big Show do a joint interview with Renee Young. Ryback says that a huge win against Big Show is something that will really prove that Ryback is back. Big Show says that he hasn’t been doing so well recently and maybe a big win over Ryabck is just what he needs to get himself back on track. They shake hands and wish each other good luck.
WINNER FACES DEAN AMBROSE IN A HARDCORE MATCH FOR THE INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE AT HELL IN A CELL: R-Truth vs. Cody Rhodes-
Truth wins clean in ten minutes, pinning Cody after the What’s Up.
We get a pre-taped message from The Miz announcing that he is ready to come back from his time off and he is eager to overcome the obstacle he couldn’t overcome before: Luke Harper. He challenges Harper to a match on Raw and says that he looks forward to beating the new World Heavyweight Champion.
The announcers speculate that Miz chose this time to come back so he could ensure that he gets the first shot at the World Heavyweight Title if Harper defeats Sheamus for it this Sunday at Hell in a Cell.
CM PUNK & KOFI KINGSTON vs. DOLPH ZIGGLER & CHRISTIAN (w/Vickie Guerrero & Paige)-
The story of the match sees Ziggler not wanting to tag in so he can conserve his energy for the Iron Man match at Hell in a Cell. This means Christian has to carry the workload for his team, which both frustrates him and tires him out more than Punk and Kofi, who are making quick tags. Kofi winds up pinning Christian after a Trouble in Paradise.
Punk and Kofi celebrate in the ring, but the heels attack them from behind. Ziggler takes out Punk’s knee, while Christian viciously beats Kofi with a chair, leaving him a bloody mess. Christian tells Kofi that he didn’t leave him for dead back in June. THIS is leaving him for dead.

Re: BRM Books Raw 1,000 and beyond
Hell in a Cell 2013 (10/27/2013)- Miami, FL
Pre-show:
Dolph Ziggler cuts a backstage promo saying he is going to beat Punk and prove once in for all that he is the best in the world. As he is cutting his promo, Bo Dallas comes up to him and they start to brawl, but it is very quickly broken up by security.
WWE DIVAS TITLE MATCH: Naomi Knight(c) (w/Damien Sandow & David Otunga) vs. AJ Bryan (w/Daniel Bryan)-
The match is built around AJ trying to hit Naomi with the Shining Wizard. AJ dominates the match early, and almost hits it but Otunga reachs in and pulls her out of the way of the move. Naomi rolls to the outside to break AJ’s momentum. The Brain Trust huddle up to strategize, and we get a comedy spot with Dragon trying to eavesdrop.
Naomi gets back in the ring and starts working over AJ’s leg. AJ makes her comeback and gets Naomi down in the corner. Sandow jumps up on the apron, distracting AJ, and both Dragon and the ref come over to yell at him. While this is happening, Otunga rips the padding off of the middle turnbuckle behind Naomi. Sandow refuses to get off of the apron, so Dragon pulls him down and knocks him out with a big roundhouse kick to the head. AJ turns back to Naomi and charges at her to hit the Shining Wizard in the corner but Naomi, now recovered, rolls out of the way and AJ’s knee slams into the exposed turnbuckle. Naomi works AJ’s leg over some more and makes her tap to the figure four leg lock.
We get a video package airing announcing that RVD will be returning tomorrow night on Raw.
We get a backstage segment with Punk telling Bo “I understand why you are going after Dolph and I would do the same thing in your position, but please don’t interfere in my match tonight because I don’t want Dolph to have any excuses when I beat him.” Bo doesn’t answer him.
MAIN SHOW:
HARDCORE MATCH FOR THE WWE INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE: Dean Ambrose(c) vs. R-Truth-
Ambrose wins a competitive match in about fourteen minutes.
WWE WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: The Prime Time Players(c) vs. The Brain Trust (Damien Sandow & David Otunga) (w/Naomi)-
PTP win clean in twelve minutes.
THE BIG SHOW vs. RYBACK-
Ryback wins clean in eleven minutes
FATAL FOUR WAY MATCH FOR THE WWE UNITED STATES TITLE: Jack Swagger(c) vs. Evan Bourne vs. Roman Reigns vs. Randy Orton (w/Bo Dallas)-
Everyone gets time to shine. The finish comes when Reigns hits his finisher on Swagger and has Swagger pinned but Bourne breaks it up with a Shooting Star Press, then pins Swagger to win his first singles title in the WWE. Total time about fifteen minutes
30 MINUTE IRON MAN MATCH: CM Punk vs. Dolph Ziggler (w/Vickie Guerrero)-
Punk gets the first pinfall. Punk keeps in control of the match for a bit after that until Bo comes out to beat on Ziggler. Punk slides out of the ring to block him. Bo takes a swing at Punk but Punk ducks it and hits Bo with a GTS, taking him out. This allows Ziggler to nail Punk with a baseball slide and take the advantage. Ziggler winds up going up 2-1 but Punk comes back to win 3-2 in the final moments.
FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE MATCH: Mark Henry vs. Kane-
They brawl on the ramp and fight around the ringside area, going for some pinfalls. Mark gets the advantage and sets Kane up on the Spanish announcers’ table. Mark climbs up onto the security barricade to do a diving splash and squash Kane like a bug, but Kane gets up and chokeslams Mark off of the barricade, through the table and gets the pin. Total match time is about eight or nine minutes. (These two probably can’t do much more than that without together without it getting boring, anyway).
WWE TITLE MATCH: Christian(c) (w/Paige) vs. Kofi Kingston-
Christian wins in twenty minutes
WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH:
Sheamus(c) vs. Luke Harper-
Sheamus wins clean in seventeen minutes, kicking out of the Steamroller. Harper is in total shock at his loss and just slinks off muttering “I lost. He beat me. I couldn’t do it. I lost.” Over and over again on his way up the ramp.
HELL IN A CELL MATCH WITH REY MYSTEIRO’S CAREER ON THE LINE: Rey Mysterio Jr. vs. Alberto Del Rio (w/Ricardo Rodriguez)-
Give them as long as they need to make this an epic match. Like, 30-40 minutes if they need it. I’d have them do a spot where Rey is dominating Del Rio in the cell so Ricardo gets some bolt cutters and cuts his way in to the cell to attack Rey. The heels use the numbers advantage until Rey fights back (or you even have Rey Sr. do a run in to take out Ricardo).
Let them get in all of Rey’s spots and do whatever they want. Build the match around the fact that there is no way that Rey will tap is career away, so Del Rio has to switch strategies in the middle of the match and go to the concussions angle from back in the spring and have Del Rio pretty much cave in Rey’s skull to ensure that he stays down. Del Rio wins and Rey Mysterio Jr. must retire for ever (and hopefully the MONTHS AND MONTHS AND MONTHS of waiting and stalling and having Rey come back for two seconds only for Del Rio to put him out again just so I could do this blow off on PPV in a city with a HUGE Hispanic population will have been worth it)

Re: BRM Books Raw 1,000 and beyond
Nope. I had Del Rio rip his mask off a few times but kept his face unseen. he never lost a Mask vs. X match, though. The objective was to get Rey out because his health is very questionable and he can be used for other purposes. His mask is who he is, and losing it would hurt him a lot, especially in terms of merch, IMO.cero2k wrote:i've missed some shows, but if you retired Rey rey, i really hope you took his mask off before in a hair vs mask match
As for doing Hair vs. Mask... I actually hadn't considered putting Del Rio's hair on the line just because he's not one of those guys like Edge or Jericho or Foley for whom the hair was an integral part of the look and he didn't have the sort of long hair that usually gets put on the line in this matches... but the more I think about it, losing his hair would probably make Del Rio less handsome, which would make him very mad.
Hmm... an idea to consider.

i just figured that if he is to retire, might as well do this and get some huge heat on someone for unmasking himBig Red Machine wrote:Nope. Re: BRM Books Raw 1,000 and beyond
I think that if you do them too close together (like, within two or three years), you lose the heat from one of them. Rey is so old/injury prone (he has missed most of the past three years) that you won't get to do both effectively, and if you don't get to do both effectively, I'd rather just retire him so you can keep selling the masks.cero2k wrote:i just figured that if he is to retire, might as well do this and get some huge heat on someone for unmasking himBig Red Machine wrote:Nope. Also, I think that (at least in WWE) Rey is so connected with both his mask and masks in general that losing it would be the end of him. He was pretty much the only guy wearing a mask for about seven or eight years. In WWE masks ARE Rey. If Rey isn't wearing his mask then there is no one cool wearing a mask (well... I guess I have Kane wearing one, but that is just because I forgot to have him take it off), and if no one cool is wearing a mask, it becomes harder for the next guy to get cool while wearing a mask. If Rey is going to lose his mask, they should wait until they have another cool masked guy already hot.
