IC Title Match: Good opener. Got a little messy at some points; got a little awesome at some points.
Tag Title Match: Fun match; very entertaining but a sorta sour ending. Hope the Usos are in the title match at Mania still.
Titus v. Young: this match should've happened already. There wasn't enough build for this to really feel like a ppv grudge match. Titus should have gotten as brutal with Darren as he did when he initially turned.
6-Man Tag: 5 STAR MATCH! This was absolutely PERFECT! Everyone got great spots and did great character work. Awesome storytelling, fantastic action, and amazing crowd reaction. I'm gonna go ahead and call this MOTY.
Divas Title Match: pointless other than just to let the crowd settle; NOTHING could follow Shield v. Wyatts.
Del Rio v. Batista: I take back what I just said about the Divas match; it was pointless. They HAD to know the crowd was gonna crap all over ADR v. Batista. They should've had this right after the 6-man Tag, maybe the fans would've still been too exhausted to BOO BATISTA OUT OF THE BUILDING or chant for ANYBODY except the two guys in the ring (coulda swore I heard the crowd try a 'we want Regal' chant). This did NOTHING for Del Rio (which I fear is the point) and just furthered animosity from the crowd that Batista's gonna have to carry. The match went WAAY too long, too. Bad decision here.
Elimination Chamber WWE Title Match: Great showing for Cesaro; great cowardly heel stuff from Orton too. Sheamus reestablished himself here; the Brogue kick through the pod was great. I kinda wish the Wyatts would have come out and attacked Cena when everyone else was still in the match; would've better shown that Cena is the Wyatts next target. But of course, we get another crapfest finish PLUS the commentary and crowd shots at the end didn't help. It seemed like the WWE (not the Authority) was kinda rubbing it in the face of D-Bry fans. This does not make me wanna see a match with Kane v. Bryan. Not a ad match tho.
All in All, decent ppv totally worth watching for the 6-Man Tag alone, plus some other, smaller things.
Side Notes:
1. This was the absolute best use of Barrett's new gimmick I've seen. Good stuff.
2. WWE should get a Superstar an endorsement from Pizza Rolls and have them do a Randy Savage/Slim Jims deal. I'm pulling for Brodus Clay....
BNXL's Elimination Chamber Reactions
Re: BNXL's Elimination Chamber Reactions
you pretty much summed up my feelings for EC here. tho i was happy with the ending of the EC itself, i just don't want a pitty title reign for Dragon.

I can't believe you guys like Shield vs. Wyatts better than the chamber! The chamber was freakin' fantastic.

Re: BNXL's Elimination Chamber Reactions
Chamber was good, but it didn't seem to be going anywhere for a while. Wyatts v. Shield was excellent from top to bottom; no screwjob swerve or bs, just competition. Just two groups of guys going out and doing what they do and seeing which group is best at it.Big Red Machine wrote:I can't believe you guys like Shield vs. Wyatts better than the chamber! The lasting effect I got from the 6 Man tag was: WOW! the Wyatt's just got over as a more dominant unit than the Shield.
The lasting effect I got from the Chamber match was: WM is gonna blow with a main event like Orton v. Batista. The two guys who got the most heat all night long. The Chamber match was okay, but nothing new or fresh or cool happened in it; the 6- Man tag showed sort of a role reversal/catharsis for the Shield. I wanna see what happens with the Shied, but I know what's gonna happen between Batista and Orton: they'll get booed out of the building....

Reigns took the pin! of course i loved it! :pBig Red Machine wrote:I can't believe you guys like Shield vs. Wyatts better than the chamber! The chamber was freakin' fantastic.
I think the EC was a better match itself, but like Badnewz, the lasting effect kinda stays with the 6-Way. EC started out awesome, and then they started eliminating the people i was involved in, by the time we were at Dragon/Orton, i was just concerned that Dragon would get a pitty/cheap pop for the network win

Re: BNXL's Elimination Chamber Reactions
I was hoping for this bc the idea of Orton v. Batista headlining makes me wanna vomit. I don't understand how WWE has decided that Orton is strong enough to headline WM now after being looked past for years now; let alone strong enough to carry the main event with a guy that gets as much legit heat from the fans as Orton himself. It just doesn't seem like a good idea; there has to be some curveball, right? What other match could they put together that could save the WM card?cero2k wrote:Reigns took the pin! of course i loved it! :pBig Red Machine wrote:I can't believe you guys like Shield vs. Wyatts better than the chamber!
