Re: BRM Books Raw 1,000 and beyond
WWE.com announces that all of the non-champions male wrestlers on the roster as well as some top names in NXT are being split up into 12 four-way matches, six of which will air on Raw, three on Main Event, and three on Superstars. The winners of the matches will be split into two six-man battle royales which will take place on Smackdown, and the winners of those battle royales will receive a huge opportunity at Survivor Series.
In addition to the two battle royales Smackdown will feature a main event of the six male champions in WWE facing off in a six man tag team match. Tag Team Champions the Prime Time Players will team up with World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus to take on WWE Champion Christian, Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose and US Champion Evan Bourne.
This month is going to be a lot less in-depth than usual.
Raw: (10/28/2013)- Orlando, FL
The Miz tries to fake having the flu to avoid having to face Harper, but Steph makes him wrestle the match anyway.
LUKE HARPER vs. THE MIZ (w/Corey Graves)-
When Harper comes out for the match, he is muttering to himself, saying “I can’t believe I failed. I couldn’t beat him.” It is very clear that Harper is distracted and that his heart really isn’t in it. Miz takes advantage of this and wins quickly by roll-up. The loss doesn’t even seem to phase Harper. He just walks to the back, still muttering about having lost to Sheamus last night at Hell in a Cell.
We get a backstage segment with Punk yelling at Orton that he needs to teach Bo more respect. When a veteran tells you not to interfere in his match, you listen.
We get a bunch of those four way qualifiers. The important points are as follows. The winners are: Big Show, Sandow, Orton, Roman Reigns, RVD, Dragon
Orton pins Cody to win his match.
Bo costs Ziggler his match (Sandow picks up the win)
Kane jumps Sheamus backstage and lays him out.
Miz cuts a promo backstage in which he says that he is a winner and that Cody is a giant loser, especially since winning MITB. He says that Cody was such a loser that he didn’t even get to appear on last night’s PPV.
We get a video package of Layla in a gym, training.
The champions coming out of Hell in a Cell all cut promos about winning/retaining their titles and hyping up the big “match of champions” six man tag team match on Smackdown. While Sheamus is cutting his promo, Kane assaults him and lays him out.
We get a tribute package to Rey. It was announced that Del Rio wasn’t here both because he was recovering from the Hell in a Cell match and because WWE management didn’t want him to ruin this segment.
Main Event: (10/30/2013)-
Miz def. Cody clean
Kane, Punk, and Kofi win the four way battle royale qualifiers.
Superstars: (10/31/2013)-
Ziggler def. Bo clean
Miz, Ryback, and Del Rio win their four way battle royale qualifiers. Harper is once again very distracted durting his qualifier and is still muttering about losing to Sheamus. He taps almost immediately after Del Rio locks him in a corss armbreaker.
WWE.com announces that, due to injuries suffered in Kane’s attack on him on Raw, Sheamus will not be participating in the “Match of Champions” six man tag team match tonight. Instead, NXT Champion Sami Zayn will take his place, teaming with the Prime Time Players.
Smackdown: (11/1/2013)- Tampa- FL
Cody Rhodes cuts a promo saying that The Miz was right. He has been a loser… but no more! He vows that, by the end of the next WWE event here in Tampa, which will be the 21st Anniversary episode of Raw on January 13, 2014, he will leave the city where his father Dusty Rhodes won his first World Heavyweight Title with a World Heavyweight Title of his own!
BATTLE ROYALE #1: Big Show def. Punk, Orton, Dragon, Reigns, and Kofi
Punk and Orton eliminate each other at the same time. Reigns uses his strength to dominantly toss both Kofi and Dragon out of the ring.
We get another video package of Layla training in the gym.
BATTLE ROYALE #2: Sandow def. RVD, Del Rio, Kane, Miz, and Ryback
Kane dominates early on, but Sheamus comes out and eliminates him and they brawl to the back. RVD eliminates Miz. Ryback eliminates Del Rio. Ryback eliminates RVD. Ryback has the match won, but shenanigans by Sandow, Otunga, and Naomi allow Sandow to win.
Steph announces that the two winners, Damien Sandow and the Big Show, will captain two opposing five man teams in a traditional Survivor Series elimination match, with the winning captain receiving a shot at the title of his choice at TLC.
Jack Swagger cuts a promo saying that he wants his US Title rematch from Evan Bourne.
MATCH OF CHAMPIONS: The Prime Time Players & Sami Zayn vs. Dean Ambrose, Evan Bourne, & Christian (w/Paige)-
Ambrose tries to use weapons but all of the others stop him. Zayn and Bourne do some cool high-flying stuff against each other. Eventually Christian pins Zayn after a spear.

Re: BRM Books Raw 1,000 and beyond
Here is the build-up to Survivor Series in summary form:
World Heavyweight Title Picture:
Kane and Sheamus feud, with Kane says that he has been unstoppable since Wrestlemania, putting down guys like Orton, Ryback, Big Show, and Henry. He claims to be the most dominant monster WWE has ever seen. Sheamus says that he has faced one unbeatable challenge after another and has always managed to come out on top. Kane will be no different.
WWE Title Picture:
Because of Sandow and Otunga screwed him out of being a team captain at Survivor Series and possibly earning a title shot, Steph agrees to give Ryback another title shot. Ryback gets some big wins (using “RYBACK IS BACK!” as his catchphrase).
Meanwhile RVD announces that he is back and that his goal will be to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is still capable of being a top guy in the WWE by winning the WWE Title. He picks up a few big wins, as does Alberto Del Rio. Punk and Orton also pick up some wins while trading verbal jabs back and forth. On the big Raw in the UK, there is a five-way match to determine who will face Christian at Survivor Series. Ryback picks up the win, but the decision is very controversial as a series of ref-bumps result in all four other guys getting a visual pinfall on one of the others at some point during the match. On the Smackdown from the UK, Steph announces that the result of the match stands and Ryback will face Christian for the WWE Title at Survivor Series, but the other four (RVD, Del Rio, Punk, and Orton) will face off in a four-way elimination match at Survivor Series, with the winner becoming the #1 contender to the WWE Title at TLC. Christian comes out to complain about having to face Ryback, saying that Ryback really doesn’t deserve to be the #1 contender, so Steph makes a deal with him. If Ryback loses his match on Smackdown, he will no longer be the #1 contender. Christian seems pleased with this… until Steph announces Ryback’s opponent: The WWE Champion Christian himself. Ryback wins their match, pinning Christian cleanly in the middle of the ring after a Shell Shock.
WWE Divas Title Picture:
Layla wins a #1 contendership tournament during the UK shows to earn a shot at the Divas Title at Survivor Series.
WWE Intercontinental Title Picture:
Seth Rollins returns and says that if it wasn’t for his intervention, Ambrose would have retired and wouldn’t be the Hardcore Monster that is running around right now, so it is his responsibility to take Ambrose out. Ambrose is always more than happy to fight. After a few brawls, he and Rollins wind up being booked in a Last Man Standing match for the Intercontinental Title at Survivor Series. Rollins vows that in order to put Ambrose down, he will keep fighting until he can’t stand up anymore.
Traditional Survivor Series match in which the winning captain gets a title shot of his choice at TLC:
Sandow announces that his first pick for his team is the only other man in the WWE who is as smart as he is: his tag team partner David Otunga. They vow that their brains will defeat Big Show’s brawn. Show picks Kofi Kingston and Jack Swagger for his team. Sandow responds by picking Dolph Ziggler because Ziggler has Swsgger's number. Sandow also picks Mark Henry to be their power and Daniel Bryan to be a submission expert.
Sandow brags about picking the perfect team, balancing Henry’s power, Dragon’s submission skills and Ziggler’s athleticism with his and Otunga’s brains. Sandow says that as long as the other three listen to him and Otunga, they will win. Big Show says that while Sandow’s team is great on paper, they don’t have any history of working together and thus they don’t have good chemistry. For this reason, with his final two spots, Big Show picks the WWE World Tag Team Champions, the Prime Time Players.
On the go-home show, Dragon and Ziggler team up to defeat PTP in non-title action.
The Undercard:
11/5 Raw, Miz craps on Cody’s promo from the 11/2 Smackdown, saying that Cody will always be a loser. Cody comes out and Miz runs away from him. Miz brags about beating the unstoppable Luke Harper last week, and challenges Cody to do the same. Cody accepts the challenge, and on the 11/9 Smackdown, he beats Harper. Once again Harper does not seem focused on the match. He spends most of it muttering to himself about how he failed to beat Sheamus.
It seems that Harper’s confidence has been completely shattered by his loss to Sheamus, and he loses all of his matches for the month, muttering to himself about his failure to defeat Sheamus the whole time.
Cody, on the other hand, starts to go on a winning streak. Miz sends Corey Graves to break the winning streak, but Graves fails to do so. Miz says that he will prove that Cody is a loser once and for all by defeating Cody at Survivor Series.
Roman Reigns calls out the new US Champion Evan Bourne, claiming that Bourne would not have won the US Title at Hell in a Cell if it wasn’t for him putting Jack Swagger down for the count. He says that Bourne stole his pin because a small guy like Bourne doesn’t stand a chance against a power-wrestler like he is. Bourne faces Swagger in Swagger’s contractually-obligated rematch on the 11/9 Smackdown. Swagger does use his size advantage to control most of the match, but Bourne manages to get a roll-up out of the Patriot Act and wins the match. Swagger puts Bourne over on the mic after the match, but Reigns comes out and says that Bourne got lucky and that a small high-flyer like Bourne needs a fluke win to beat a power guy. Bourne offers to assemble a team of high-flyers to face a team of power-wrestlers in a traditional Survivor Series elimination match. Bourne picks International Airstrike 2.0, Sin Cara, and NXT Champion Sami Zayn to be his team of high-flyers. Reigns picks Antonio Cesaro, Wade Barrett, Tensai, and Luke Harper to be his team of power wrestlers. Harper tries to talk Reigns out of picking him, but Reigns convinces him that squashing a bunch of little bugs will be exactly what he needs to get his confidence back up.
Re: BRM Books Raw 1,000 and beyond
WWE Survivor Series 2013 (11/24/2013)- Boston, MA
PRE-SHOW MATCH: Cody Rhodes vs. The Miz (w/Corey Graves)-
Miz tries various dirty tricks, including using Graves to distract the referee at key moments, but Cody still pulls out the win with the Corss Rhodes in about eight minutes.
MAIN SHOW:
TRADITIONAL SURVIVOR SERIES ELIMINATION TAG TEAM MATCH: Team High Flyers (Evan Bourne, Sin Cara, Justin Gabriel, Adrian Neville, & Sami Zayn) vs. Team Power Wrestlers (Roman Reigns, Tensai, Wade Barrett, Luke Harper, & Antonio Cesaro) (w/Aksana)-
All of the teams enter together to save time on the entrances.
Harper is once again distracted during his match and muttering about his inability to beat Sheamus at Hell in a Cell. He is quickly eliminated via roll-up by Bourne. The next man out is Sami Zayn, who is eliminated via pop-up European Uppercut by Cesaro because we all know how f*cking awesome those two would make it look.
The next man eliminated is Tensai, after he takes all of the high-flyers high-flying finishers in succession. Soon after that, Roman Reigns catches Sin Cara with a Spear as Cara is coming at him with some sort of Springboard move, pinning him. Reigns next eliminates the US Champion Evan Bourne after the Moment of Silence, beating the champ clean in the middle of the ring.
Reigns is then eliminated after a double-team finisher from International Airstrike 2.0. Both Airstrike guys are then soon eliminated by a Wasteland from Barrett and a Gotch-style Neutralizer from Cesaro, respectively. Total match time should be about twenty minutes.
Survivors: Antonio Cesaro & Wade Barrett (Team Power Wrestlers)
WWE DIVAS TITLE MATCH: Naomi Knight(c) (w/Damien Sandow & Daivd Otunga) vs. Layla El-
Naomi wins in seven minutes, making Layla tap to the Figure 4 Leg Lock while Otunga gives her illegal leverage from the outside.
We get a backstage interview with Team Big Show. They are all clearly on the same page and put over the importance of good chemistry.
LAST MAN STANDING MATCH FOR THE WWE INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE: Dean Ambrose(c) vs. Seth Rollins-
Rollins charges out to start the match (saving us time on his entrance) Ambrose wins in seventeen minutes.
We get a backstage interview with Team Sandow. Sandow insists that Henry, Ziggler, and Dragon (and also AJ and Vickie) all listen to him, Otunga, and Naomi and do whatever they say. Their strategizing worked to help Naomi win her Divas Title match tonight, and it will win tonight’s match for Team Sandow as long as the others do what they are told. The others aren’t buying it, though, and make it clear how unhappy they are with this idea.
FATAL 4 WAY ELIMINATION MATCH FOR A SHOT AT THE WWE TITLE AT TLC 2013: CM Punk vs. Rob Van Dam vs. Randy Orton (w/Bo Dallas) vs. Alberto Del Rio (w/Ricardo Rodriguez)-
RVD eliminates all three men cleanly in the middle of the ring with the Five Star Frog Splash, first pinning Punk at the fifteen minute mark, then Del Rio at about nineteen minutes, then finally Orton at around the twenty-four minute mark.
TRADITIONAL SURVIVOR SERIES ELIMINATION TAG TEAM MATCH IN WHICH THE WINNING CAPTAIN RECEIVES A TITLE SHOT OF HIS CHOICE AT TLC 2013: Team Big Show (Big Show, Kofi Kingston, Jack Swagger, and the Prime Time Players) vs. Team Sandow (Damien Sandow, David Otunga, Mark Henry, Daniel Bryan, & Dolph Ziggler) (w/AJ Bryan, Vickie Guerrero, & Naomi)-
When trying to decide who should start the match, Otunga and Sandow insist that the best strategy would be for Otunga to start. Mark Henry thinks it would be best if he started. Sandow and Otunga order Mark to let Otunga start, but Mark simply tells them to “make me.” Sandow and Otunga back off and let Henry start. Sandow and Otunga both spend the early going of the match barking orders to their teammates, but their teammates don’t listen to them.
Otunga is eliminated first, pinned by Big Show after a WMD at about the six minute mark. Sandow is similarly eliminated a few minutes later. Dragon, Henry, and Ziggler don’t lift a finger to try to break up either pin.
Dragon gets worked over as the babyface in peril for a while, having his leg worked over, but eventually manages to make Kofi tap to the Yes Lock at about the fifteen minute mark. Swagger comes in and immediately locks Dragon in the Patriot Act but Dragon manages to get to the ropes. They tease this a few times, with Dragon either getting to the ropes or reversing it into a Yes Lock only for Swagger to reverse it back into the Patriot Act. Dragon finally manages to break free and tags in Mark Henry, who takes over control of the match for his team. Ziggler soon pins Swagger after a Zig Zag at around the twenty-two minute mark.
PTP the use their teamwork to work over first Ziggler and then Dragon, but Dragon manages to make Darren Young tap out at around the twenty nine minute mark. A few minutes later, Ziggler makes Titus pass out in the Sleeper Hold.
Big Show is now the only man left on his team. Ziggler and Dragon both try their stuff against him, but neither one of them can take him down. They eventually start working together and do make some progress, but even when they manage to get show down, he still powers out of every pin. They make the tag to Mark Henry, though, and after some big-man stuff, Mark hits Show with the World’s Strongest Slam and gets the pin (in around 37 minutes)
Survivors: Daniel Bryan, Mark Henry, and Dolph Ziggler (Team Sandow)
WWE TITLE MATCH: Christian(c) (w/Paige) vs. Ryback-
Ryback dominates the match until Christian uses eye rakes to stop his offense and takes the advantage. Ryback makes his comeback and hits the Shell Shock, but Paige distracts the ref, giving Ryback the visual pin. Christian eventually gets the win after bumping Ryback’s head into an exposed turnbuckle, the pinning him with a school boy with his feet on the ropes for extra leverage. Ryback is furious, but Christian and Paige high-tail it out of there with the belt. Total time is about seventeen minutes.
WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: Sheamus(c) vs. Kane-
They have a knock-down, drag-out big man brawl. They kick out of each other’s finishers a few times. I think I might even have a spot where Kane sits right back up after taking the first Brogue Kick. Sheamus eventually gets the win in about twenty five minutes, pinning Kane clean in the middle of the ring to retain the title (it seems hard to go wrong when you’re putting the Irish guy over in Boston)
Kane-

Re: BRM Books Raw 1,000 and beyond
Christian brags on Twitter about beating Ryback, using the hashtag “fair and square”
WWE.com is reporting that tonight’s Raw will see the Prime Time Players defending the WWE World Tag Team Titles against the unlikely team of Dolph Ziggler and Daniel Bryan. The match was made at the Prime Time Players request because not only did Bryan and Ziggler beat them in a non-title match on Smackdown, but because during the traditional Survivor Series match, Bryan eliminated Darren Young while Dolph Ziggler eliminated Titus O’Neil. In order for the Prime Time Players to not be stripped of the Titles under the Thirty Days Rule, the match must take place tonight on Raw. Will Bryan and Ziggler be able to function as a team with so little time to prepare, or are they talented enough to defeat the tag team champions using just their own skills, like they did on Smackdown?
Both Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins are so banged up from their Last Man Standing match at Survivor Series that neither man will be at Raw tonight. Ambrose is expected back on Smackdown, but Rollins suffered a concussion and will be out for at least a few weeks.
Aksana will also not be on WWE programming this week because she is doing a public appearance for WWE in her home country of Lithuania.
Last night at Survivor Series, Roman Reigns’ team of power wrestlers defeat the team of high flyers put together by Evan Bourne. Bourne will have a chance for redemption tonight, as a rematch of sorts has been signed. Luke Harper, Antonio Cesaro, Wade Barrett, & Tensai of the power team will face Evan Bourne, Sin Cara, and two of WWE’s top high flyers who were not on the team at Survivor Series: the Usos, in an eight man tag team match.
Signed for Smackdown this week is a triple threat match between Alberto Del Rio, Jack Swagger, and the WWE United States Champion Evan Bourne, as well as a singles encounter between Wade Barrett and World Heavyweight Title Money in the Bank Briefcase-holder Cody Rhodes
Raw : (11/25/2013)- Long Island, NY
As the opening pyro is going off, Ryback storms to the ring, angry that Christian cheated to beat him and the WWE Title at TLC. He demands a rematch. Steph comes out and says that while the referee’s decision is final, Christian has been rubbing his cheating in everyone’s face backstage and on Twitter, which is not the behavior worthy of a WWE Champion. As a result, she says that Ryback will get another shot at the WWE Title in tonight’s main event. Christian coems out to complain about this, but Ryback charges at him and he runs away.
ANTONIO CESARO, LUKE HARPER, WADE BARRETT, & TENSAI vs. SIN CARA, EVAN BOURNE, & THE USOS-
Roman Reigns comes out early on in the match to do commentary. He brags about the Power team beating the high-flying team last night at Survivor Series and points out that he pinned the US Champion Evan Bourne. He says that he wants a US Title match and that he will beat Bourne to once again prove that power wrestlers are better than high flyers.
The match is competitive for about eight minutes, with all four babyfaces getting into the action, and everyone but Harper getting in on the heel side. When Harper does get the tag, he is totally ineffective, still distracted by his loss to Sheamus at Hell in a Cell. He is pinned the by Usos after a double superkick and then their double splash finisher. The babyfaces celebrate all the way to the back. After the match, all of the other heels (including Reigns) berate Harper for being worthless. Harper slinks off, dejectedly.
CODY RHODES vs. R-TRUTH-
Cody wins clean in eight minutes
We get a backstage segment with Renee Young interviewing Dragon & Ziggler. They say that they will put aside their personal dislike of each other in order to work together and win the tag team titles tonight. Vickie gives AJ and Draogn the stink-eye during the whole promo, though.
COREY GRAVES & THE MIZ vs. JACK SWAGGER & KOFI KINGSTON-
Babyfaces win clean in nine minutes when Kofi pins Graves after a Trouble in Paradise.
Renee Young asks RVD for some thoughts on Steph giving Ryback a rematch even though he is the rightful #1 Contender. RVD just says that he is glad to have to proven his ability to compete at the highest level by winning last night, and that he will go on to win the WWE Title at TLC whether he faces Ryback or Christian.
When Rob is done talking, Randy Orton comes up to him and congratulates him on his win. He says that he was wrong about Rob not having it anymore. RVD tells him not to worry about it, and says that he is glad that Orton said those things because they helped motivate him. Orton insists on apologizing because he was “acting like a young punk.” CM Punk then shows up and says that he and Orton have some unfinished business because Orton’s “young punk” Bo Dallas interfering in Punk’s match with Dolph Ziggler at Hell in a Cell. Orton and Punk agree to have a match on Smackdown.
INTERNATIONAL AIRSTRIKE 2.0 vs. MARK HENRY & ALBERTO DEL RIO (w/Ricardo Rordiguez)-
Heels win mostly cleanly in nine minutes when Mark flattens Gabriel with the World’s Strongest Slam. Airstrike had been doing a good job isolating Del Rio, but when Mark got the tag, he completely took over the match.
Damien Sandow (w/Sandow and Naomi) cuts a promo about how HE earned a shot at a title of his choice at TLC because he picked such a great team. He says that most people would use this opportunity to challenge for the WWE Title or the World Heavyweight Title, but he is smarter than everyone else. He knows he will win the Royal Rumble and win one of those titles at Wresltemania, then win a Money in the Bank match next year and win the other title, so instead he will use this opportunity to team with David Otunga and win the WWE World Tag Team Titles. Then, after wins the Royal Rumble and wins a world title at Wrestlemania and wins an MITB case and wins the other world title, the Brain Trust will have all of the major titles.
WWE WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: The Prime Time Players(c) vs. PTP vs. Daniel Bryan & Dolph Ziggler (w/AJ Bryan & Vickie Guerrero)-
Dragon & Dolph work well together, but eventually a miscue causes them to bump heads and Darren Young rolls Ziggler up for the pin.
Renee Young is interviewing Sheamus backstage. The monitor at the backstage set (where you will sometimes see wrestlers watching the matches) is broken. Before Renee can start the interview, Sheamus asks what happened to the monitor. Renee says that she heard that Big Show got angry and punched it out during the tag team title match and no one has any idea what set him off.
Renee Young asks for a comment on his win against Kane last night, pointing out that Sheamus became the first person to pin Kane in all of 2013, putting an end to a months-long reign of destruction. Sheamus cuts a promo saying that Kane gave him the fight of his life last night, but he still came out on top.
Evan Bourne cuts a promo saying that people told him that Roman Reigns said he wants a shot at the US Title… and Reigns has definitely earned it in his eyes by pinning Bourne, so Bourne will give him that title shot.
WWE TITLE MATCH: Christian(c) (w/Paige) vs. Ryback-
Ryback is dominating but Christian once again pulls of the top turnbuckle pad. Christian gets the advantage works over Ryback’s knee in various ways, using the ringpost, the steps, and even a chair (after a ref bump). He eventually gets Ryback’s knee stretched over the exposed turnbuckle and bashes it with a chair a bunch of times before just hanging from it and pulling down on it with all of his might. He then shoves Ryback onto the floor and starts stabbing the back of his knee with a chair. Despite Ryback’s best efforts, he is too hurt to stand, and when the ref recovers, he judges Ryback too injured to continue. Ryback is helped up the ramp while Christian and Paige celebrate in the ring.
Main Event: (11/27/2013)
ANTONIO CESARO vs. DANIEL BRYAN (w/AJ Bryan)-
Cesaro wins clean in seventeen minutes
RANDY ORTON & BO DALLAS vs. THE USOS vs. THE COLONS (w/Rosa Mendes)-
During the match the Colons work over Randy’s arm and shoulder, including whipping him hard into the ring steps. The Usos pick up the win in either minutes, with Jimmy pinning Epico after their finisher. Randy is favoring his arm and shaking it out on the way to the back.
CODY RHODES vs. DOLPH ZIGGLER (w/Vickie Guerrero)-
Cody wins clean in seventeen minutes.

Re: BRM Books Raw 1,000 and beyond
Randy Orton’s arm was slightly injured during his match last on Main Event, but Orton will not miss any time for the injury. Like a true warrior, Orton has said that he will fight through the injury not just in his match against CM Punk on Smackdown, but also in tonight’s Superstars main event, in which he will team with Bo Dallas to take on the Brain Trust.
WWE Superstar Luke Harper has asked for some personal time off, and has been granted it.
Superstars: (11/28/2013)
WADE BARRETT vs. DANIEL BRYAN (w/AJ Bryan)-
Bryan wins clean in ten minutes, making Wade tap to the Yes Lock.
ANTONIO CESARO vs. ZACK RYDER-
Cesaro wins clean in four minutes
BRODUS CLAY (w/ Cameron) vs. DOLPH ZIGGLER (w/Vickie Guerrero)-
Dolph chokes Brodus out with the Sleeper Hold in seven minutes.
RANDY ORTON & BO DALLAS vs. THE BRAIN TRUST (w/Naomi)-
Sandow & Otunga focus on Orton’s injured arm all match, ramming into the ring post and ring steps and barricade. Sandow eventually makes Orton tap to some sort of arm submission in about fifteen minutes.

Re: BRM Books Raw 1,000 and beyond
WWE.com reports that last night's match with the Brain Trust exacerbated the shoulder injury that Randy Orton suffered two night’s ago on Main Event, and as a result, his status for tonight’s scheduled match against CM Punk is doubtful, but it will be a last minute decision made by WWE’s doctors. As a result of this, WWE cannot in good faith advertise CM Punk vs. Randy Orton as tonight’s main event. A suitable replacement main event will be arranged.
Smackdown: (11/29/2013)- Uncasville, CT
Smackdown opens up with Christian and Paige coming to the ring. Paige is walking on crutches (though she is completely healthy). Christian and Paige proceed to use the crutches for a series of jokes making fun of Ryback’s injury. Christian says that he knows that there is still no main event announced for tonight, so he joking offers to defend his WWE Title against Ryback… in a ladder match. A very annoyed Steph comes out and punishes Christian for being an asshole by indeed making him defend his WWE Title tonight in a ladder match… but against Kofi Kingston!
After a commercial break, we get Renee Young interviewing the Prime Time Players. She asks them for their thoughts about the Brain Trust challenging them for the WWE World Tag Team Titles at TLC. They say they have beaten Brain Trust in the past, and they will beat them again. If Brain Trust wants to challenge them, then all they need to do is bring it.
CODY RHODES vs. WADE BARRETT-
As they come out, Cole promises us that we will have a complete rundown of tonight’s card after this match, and apologizes for WWE not having a card set because Randy’s injury threw some things into disarray.
Cody wins clean in six minutes with the Cross Rhodes.
The rest of the card for tonight will be: Cesaro, Reigns & Tensai vs. Santino & International Airstrike 2.0, Del Rio vs. Swagger vs. Bourne (non-title), and our main event of Christian vs. Kofi in a Ladder Match for the WWE Title. Orton vs. Punk is still questionable. If it happens, it happens, if it doesn’t, it doesn’t. In addition to all of this, we will be hearing from both WWE Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose and the #1 contenders to the WWE World Tag Team Titles, the Brain Trust. Now, though, we go backstage to Renee Young who is standing by with Rob Van Dam.
Renee asks RVD to comment on the fact that this is now the second time in a row that Steph has given someone a WWE Title shot before him, even though he won the #1 contendership match at Survivor Series.
RVD says that it doesn’t matter to him who gets title shots before him so long as he gets his title shot soon. He says that he doesn’t care who wins the belt tonight because whoever wins this match will prove who the top guy in the WWE is. Rob wants to prove that he can still be the top guy by winning the WWE Titie, so all this match does for him is tell him who he has to beat at TLC.
TRIPLE THREAT MATCH: Evan Bourne vs. Jack Swagger vs. Alberto Del Rio (w/Ricardo Rodriguez)-
The finish comes in about eight minutes when Swagger hits Del Rio with the Swagger Bomb but Bourne charges in and hits him with a hard dropkick to the side of the head to break up the pin, sending Swagger rolling towards the turnbuckle. Bourne then climbs to the top and goes for Air Bourne, but Del Rio rolls out of the way towards the center of the ring, and Bourne crashes down to the mat, then rolls over, clutching his face and stomach in pain. Del Rio and Swagger both crawl towards him and drape an arm over him, and the ref counts the three. Ricardo jumps into the ring to announce Del Rio as the winner, but the ref runs over to Lillian and has her announce that it was a double-pin.
We get a quick backstage comedy segment with Sheamus and Santino. Sheamus wishes Santino good luck in his match tonight.
Kofi Kingston cuts a promo about wanting to win the WWE Title tonight.
Dolph Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero come out to the ring. They blame Daniel Bryan for their loss in the WWE World Tag Team Title match on Raw, and say that Dolph deserves to get a rematch with a partner of his choice. The Bryans come out and point out that Dolph was the one who got pinned, saying that Dragon should get a rematch with the partner of his choice.
They argue about who got them the title shot in the first place, with both men claiming responsibility. Dolph points out that he pinned made Titus pass out to the Sleeper Hold at Survivor Series while Dragon counter, saying that he made Darren Young tap out earlier in the match. Vickie points out that Dolph got two eliminations in the Survivor Series match, and AJ counters bu pointing out that Dragon also had two eliminations.
Dolph says that the guys Dragon eliminated were chumps and that he could have eliminated them if Dragon wasn’t there. Dolph says that if he were the team captain, he would have picked a bunch of scrubs to be on his team and just eliminated the entire opposing team by himself and gotten himself a world title match. AJ says that Dolph isn’t good enough to beat five guys on his own, but points out that Dragon did just that in a Gauntlet Match on Smackdown last year.
They all continue to argue over who was more valuable to their team at Survivor Series when Mark Henry comes out and says that they are all wrong. HE was the most valuable player on their team because without him, they never would have been able to eliminate the Big Show and thus wouldn’t have been able to win the match. We go to commercial with them all arguing in the ring.
When we come back, we are shown footage of Steph coming out during the break and telling them she will talk to them all in her office.
ANTONIO CESARO, ROMAN REIGNS, & TENSAI vs. INTERNATIONAL AIRSTRIKE 2.0 & SANTINO MARELLA-
Heels win clean in five minutes when Cesaro pins Santino after a Gotch-Style Neutralized. After the match, Cesaro waits for Santino to get up and gives him a bicycle kick.
Dean Ambrose cuts a backstage promo saying that TLC is one of his favorite PPVs of the year because of all of the hardcore action. He says that he will make his mark on that show against whoever is brave enough to face him. He reminds us of all of the pain he inflicted on Seth Rollins and says that if he is willing to do that to someone he considers a friend, what will he do to someone he doesn’t like?
(The announcers remark that Rollins probably doesn’t consider Ambrose a friend anymore after everything Ambrose has done).
CM Punk comes out to the ring for his possible match with Orton. Orton comes out with his arm in a sling and says that the doctors have told him not to wrestle tonight. Bo, who had come out with Orton, says that this whole thing started because of him, so he will take Orton’s place and face Punk tonight. Punk seems to be okay with it, and Cole tells us that he just got word that Steph is okay with it, so the match is on…
CM PUNK vs. BO DALLAS (w/Randy Orton)-
Punk dominates a lot of the match, punishing Bo with hard kicks and chops. Bo shows a lot of heart and a lot of fight, but Punk wins clean in eleven minutes.
The Brain Trust cut a backstage promo saying that PTP’s victory over them at Hell in a Cell was a fluke. They said that they used their brains to identify Randy Orton’s biggest weakness and last night on Superstars, they took him out. They say that they will do the same thing to PTP: figure out where their game is weak, and exploit it to win the titles.
LADDER MATCH FOR THE WWE TITLE: Christian(c) (w/Paige) vs. Kofi Kingston)-
They do ladder stuff. When they are about two thirds of the way in, Dean Ambrose comes out onto the stage with a steel chair, temporarily distracting both men, but rather than interfere, he sets the chair up and sits on stage, enjoying the action.
At a later point, after a big spot on the outside, Kofi appears to have the match won, but Paige grabs his leg as he is trying to climb the ladder. The referee stops this and orders Paige to go to the back, but her interference has given Christian enough time to recover, and as Kofi is about to grab the title, he lunges into the ring and pushes the ladder over, sending Kofi spilling to the floor through some tables or something. Christian then climbs the ladder and retrieves the belt to retain his title.
WWE.com reports that there were two casualties from last night’s Ladder Match for the WWE Title. The first was Kofi Kingston, who was injured during the match and is expected to miss about a month. The second was the backstage monitor, which was once again destroyed by the Big Show during this match. As this is the second such incident this week, WWE COO Triple H and General Manger of Raw and Smackdown Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley have decided to not only fine Big Show for the cost of both monitors, but also to suspended him as well. Mrs. McMahon-Helmsley said that the suspension will last until she, Triple H, and the board of directors all feel that the Big Show will not be a danger to WWE property.

Re: BRM Books Raw 1,000 and beyond
WWE.com reports that The Miz, R-Truth, The Bella Twins, and Cameron will not be on WWE programming this week because they are doing charity stuff.
Raw’s main event will see the #1 Contenders to the tag team titles, the Brian Trust, team up to face Kofi Kingston and the World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus. Also on tonight’s card, Cody Rhodes will face Tensai, CM Punk will face Roman Reigns, Kaitlyn will face Rosa Mendes, and WWE US Champion Evan Bourne will team up with the high-flying Usos to take on Brodus Clay & the WWE World Tag Team Champions, the Prime Time Players.
In addition to all of this action we understand that Dean Ambrose has a big announcement to make, and that General Manager of Raw and Smackdown Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley will address the situation between Mark Henry, Dolph Ziggler, & Daniel Bryan.
Raw: (12/2/2013)- Oklahoma City, OK
Raw opens with Zack Ryder calling out Antonio Cesaro for attacking his good friend Santino Marella on Smackdown. Cesaro answers the challenge, and we get:
ANTONIO CESARO vs. ZACK RYDER-
Cesaro wins clean in four minutes with the Pop-up European Uppercut.
We go backstage to Steph’s office. Steph says she has heard arguments from Mark Henry, Daniel Bryan, and Dolph Ziggler as to why each man thinks he deserves a world title match, and she has come to the decision that none of them have earned a world title match… yet. If they want to earn a world title match, they need to pick up some wins… and what better place to start than right here in Oklahoma City? She has booked them each against mystery opponents so they will have no time to prepare.
KAITLYN vs. ROSA MENDES (w/the Colons)-
Kaitlyn wins clean in four minutes with a spear.
We get a backstage segment with PTP and Brodus Clay hanging out. Maybe they do the Millions of Dollas dance with Brodus or something like that. The point is to show that they are friends.
DANIEL BRYAN (w/AJ Bryan) vs. BO DALLAS-
Bo puts up a great fight, but Dragon manages to make him tap to the Yes Lock in eleven minutes.
After a commercial break, we come back and Jack Swagger comes out to the ring. He does a bit of hometown cheap-pop stuff, then talking about having pinned US Champion Evan Bourne on Smackdown and thus earning a US Title match. He admits that there was some controversry, but he feels he deserves a title match, and as an All-American American, he is eager to once again represent America as the United States Champion.
Alberto Del Rio comes out and says that he, not Swagger, was the one who really pinned Bourne last week. He shows some clearly doctored footage of him making the cover on Bourne before Swagger could get there and accuses Swagger of paying off the referee. Then Roman Reigns comes out and says that he pinned Evan Bourne back at Survivor Series and Bourne had already agreed to give him a US Title match, and unlike RVD, he won’t sit around while Steph gives out HIS title shot to other people.
They have a shoving match which eventually devolves into a brawl. Swagger winds up with the advantage, but Ricardo slides Del Rio a chair and Del Rio hits Swagger with it. He tries to hit Reigns as well, but Reigns flees.
Dean Ambrose cuts a backstage promo in which he says that he loved the hardcore action in Christian and Kofi’s ladder match last week. He didn’t mean to cause a distraction by coming out onto the stage, but when Big Show destroyed the big backstage monitor he was watching it on, he decided to watch the match somewhere where there was no monitor for someone to destroy. He says that the ladder match has inspired him, and at TLC, he wants to one-up them, so he asked Mrs. McMahon-Helmsley if he could be in the TLC match at TLC, and Steph said yes. Ambrose talks about the history of TLC matches and promises to raise the bar even more at TLC.
CM PUNK vs. ROMAN REIGNS-
Punk wins clean in fifteen minutes via backslide. Reigns is very impressive in defeat. After the match, Punk says that earlier in the year, he saw Roman Reigns as just a young punk… because that is exactly what he was. Over the past few months, though, he has seen Reigns mature a lot and learn how the business works, and he says that Reigns will be a big part of the future of the WWE.
He then says that, speaking of “young punks,” he has something to say to Bo Dallas. Bo comes out, and Punk really puts Bo over for stepping up on Smackdown and for giving him such a good fight. He says that Bo has earned his respect, and that Bo, too, will be a big part of the future of the WWE.
MARK HENRY vs. WADE BARRETT-
Henry wins clean in nine minutes
Christian comes out to brag about retaining his WWE Title in a ladder match against Kofi Kingston on Smackdown (“even Dean Ambrose thought it was awesome, and that whack-job is impossible to please”). He claims to be the best ladder match competitor of all time, and as the WWE Champion, he demands to be allowed to defend his WWE Title in the ladder match at TLC. RVD comes out and says that he thinks the ladder match is HIS match, and he will prove it by beating Christian for the WWE Title at TLC and proving once and for all that he can still be the top guy in the WWE.
CODY RHODES vs. TENSAI-
Randy Orton comes out to do commentary for this match (his arm is still in a sling) and buries Cody, saying he doesn’t think Cody has the killer instinct necessary to become a world champion. Cody wins the match clean in six minutes with a roll-up.
We get a backstage segment with Sheamus hanging out with Ryder and a banged up Santino.
DOLPH ZIGGLER (w/Vickie Guerrero) vs. SIN CARA-
Ziggler wins clean in fifteen minutes.
After the match, Dolph cuts a promo saying that he, Dragon, and Henry all won their matches tonight, but he deserves a world title shot because while Dragon beat some green dork and Henry beat a second-rate chump whom he outweighs by about 200 lbs, but he had to beat an international sensation like Sin Cara.
Henry comes out and says that he won his match in the shortest time, while Dragon says that the guy he beat had more momentum than the others. Steph comes out and says that she has a solution. To ensure that everyone faces the same quality of competition, they will have a Run the Field Challenge. Steph has picked three WWE superstars, each with a different style and specialties. Over the next week and a half, Bryan, Dolph, and Henry will each face these three men in singles matches, and the person who has the best record at the end will receive a world title match in the future.
The Brain Trust cut a backstage promo saying that they will use superior strategy to pick up another win in the main event. They also claim to have a secret strategy to beat PTP at TLC.
EVAN BOURNE & THE USOS vs. BRODUS CLAY & THE PRIME TIME PLAYERS-
Bourne & The Usos win clean when Bourne pins Brodus after Brodus eats the Usos double-splash and an Air Bourne.
Antonio Cesaro cuts a backstage promo saying that the fact that someone like Santino Marella gets to be on worldwide TV makes him sick because Santino is a goofball and not a good representative to the world of what a European should be. It also makes him sick that the WWE’s most prominent European, the World Heavyweight Champion, Sheamus, hangs out with goofballs like Santino and Zack Ryder. He says that Sheamus has become Americanized, and that he was absolutely ashamed when WWE went out its tour of Europe last month because the European World Heavyweight Champion was so Americanized.
KOFI KINGSTON & SHEAMUS vs. THE BRAIN TRUST (w/Naomi)-
Brain Trust win (mostly) clean by isolating Kofi, who is still injured from his brutal ladder match three days ago on Smackdown.
I hope to have everything through TLC up by tonight.

Re: BRM Books Raw 1,000 and beyond
WWE.com reports that the ladder match for the WWE Title at TLC between Rob Van Dam and Christian has been signed and made official. WWE.com has looked into both men’s ladder match history and has made some interesting discoveries.
While both RVD and Christian are tied for the most ever ladder match wins with six, Christian has lost ten ladder matches while RVD has only lost two. Furthermore, in singles ladder matches, RVD has only lost once… and that was only because of interference by Big Show… and Rob’s only other ladder match loss was an eight-way Money in the Bank ladder match earlier this year. Christian, on the other hand, actually has a losing record (5-8) in singles ladder matches. RVD has also beaten many of the greatest ladder match competitors of all time, including Eddie Guerrero, Jeff Hardy, and even Christian himself.
WWE.com reports that due to the chair shot from Alberto Del Rio on Raw, Jack Swagger’s status for the rest of this week is doubtful.
Main Event: (12/4/2013)
CM PUNK vs. BRODUS CLAY-
Punk wins clean in twelve minutes, managing to get Brodus up for the GTS. After the match, once Punk has gone to the back, The Brain Trust come out and attack Brodus, finishing their attack off by putting him through a table with a double powerbomb.
Sandow & Otunga “send a message that even idiots like PTP can understand” by putting Brodus through a table.
KAITLYN vs. NATALYA-
Kaitlyn wins clean in seven minutes
ANTONIO CESARO (w/Aksana) vs. DEAN AMBROSE-
Cesaro is very aggressive, managing to cut Ambrose off any time he tries to bring a weapon into the match. Cesaro dominates most of the match and pins the IC champion in thirteen minutes after a Gotch-style Neutralizer.
The Brain Trust put out a Tout saying “we sent you a message tonight. Now let’s see if you can figure it out.”
Superstars (12/5/2013):
ROSA MENDES & THE COLONS vs. KAITLYN & THE USOS-
The Colons and Usos show off their high-flying, leaving Kaitlyn & Rosa alone in the ring, where Kaitlyn spears Rosa for the win.
SIN CARA & INTERNATIONAL AIRSTRIKE 2.0 vs. ROMAN REIGNS, TENSAI, & ANTONIO CESARO (w/Aksana)-
Heels win clean when Cesaro pins Sin Cara with the Pop-up European Uppercut.
WADE BARRETT vs. CODY RHODES-
Cody wins clean in fifteen minutes. Randy Orotn comes out on commentary with his arm still in a sling and once again buries Cody for not having a “killer instinct.”
WWE.com reports that when the Brain Trust put Brodus Clay through a table on Main Event, it wasn’t just a painful bump through a table. Brodus suffered a concussion and will be out of action indefinitely.
WWE.com is reporting the that the three competitors that WWE General Manager of Raw and Smackdown Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley has chosen to face Daniel Bryan, Mark Henry and Dolph Ziggler in the “Run the Field Challenge” are William Regal, Kofi Kingston, and WWE Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose. Who will face who when has yet to be determined, but we can announce that the first round of matches will all take place on Smackdown.
Also on Smackdown, the #1 contender to the WWE Title, Rob Van Dam steps into the ring for the first time since winning #1 contendership when he faces Tensai, while the main event will see Antonio Cesaro team up with Wade Barrett to take on two men he criticized on Raw: Santino Marella, and the World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus.
Smackdown: (12/6/2013)- Tulsa, OK
RUN THE FIELD CHALLENGE MATCH #1: Daniel Bryan(0-0) (w/AJ Bryan) vs. Dean Ambrose-
They wrestle for a few minutes before we get a ref bump. Ambrose takes Dragon down with a low blow, then goes to the outside and gets a chair. Gets in the ring with the chair and winds up for a HUGE chairshot to Dragon, but AJ jumps into the ring and grabs the other end of the chair, stopping Ambrose from hitting her husband. Ambrose turns his attention to AJ and yanks very hand, causing AJ to lose her grip on the chair and go tumbling. Ambrose now closes in on AJ with the chair rasied high above his head, but Steph comes out onto the stage and warns Ambrose that if he uses any weapons or gets himself DQed in any way during any of the Challenge matches, not only will she strip him of the Intercontinental Title, but she will take him off of TLC as well.
The Brain Trust cut a promo hyping up their match for tonight and saying that they are curious to see if two Neanderthals like the Prime Time Players were smart to enough to interpret the message they sent them on Main Event.
CM PUNK & CODY RHODES vs. DREW MCINTYRE & MICHAEL MCGILLICUTTY-
Randy Orton is once again on commentary for his match and once again he buries Cody for not having the necessary killer instinct to make it far in the WWE.
RUN THE FIELD CHALLENGE MATCH #2: Mark Henry(0-0) vs. Kofi Kingston-

Cody Rhodes calls out Randy Orton and asks him why Randy has been burying him for the past week. Orton responds that he is calling it like he is seeing it: Cody doesn’t have the killer instinct necessary to become a star in the WWE. He says that he has known this for years. That’s the reason he broke up the Legacy by attacking Rhodes and Dibiase: because neither of them had the killer instinct necessary to succeed. He says that Ted Dibiase Jr. never amounted to anything, and neither will Cody.
Cody responds by saying that he has all of the tools necessary to succeed in the WWE, and asks the fans if they agree with him (they do). Orton responds by saying that if Cody had the killer instinct he needs, he wouldn’t be standing here right now talking, he would be attacking Randy’s injured arm. If he had the killer instinct he needs, he would have cashed in MITB tonight when Cesaro had Sheamus laid out.
Cody says that he didn’t cash in on Sheamus because he wants to do it “the right way.” Orton tells him that doing it the “right” way almost never works. Look at John Cena last year. The only person who has ever succeeded doing it the “right” way was RVD back in 2006… and that was only because of interference by Edge. He says that if Cody plans of doing things the “right” way, he’ll never be world champion by the goal he set for himself: Raw’s 21st Anniversary show on January 13th… and in doing so, would disappoint his father Dusty, because Cody gave his word that he would be champion, and a Rhodes always keeps his word.
Randy says that if Cody wants to do things the “right” way, he might as well give the MITB Briefcase to someone who will use it with the killer instinct necessary to become and remain a world champion… so he is challenging Cody to a match for the briefcase at TLC.
Cody says that he knows what Orton is trying to do and he won’t let Orton get in his head. He’ll wrestle Orton, but not for the briefcase. Orton responds by calling Cody a coward and saying that Cody clearly doesn’t have the necessary confidence in himself to be a WWE Superstar either, and says that Dusty would be very disappointed that the son of the American Dream would back down from a challenge. Cody agrees to the match, “just to shut you up once and for all, Randy.”

Henry wins clean in twelve minutes. Ambrose is mumbling to himself that “it doesn’t matter” on his way to the back. Renee Young tries to get a reaction interview from Ambrose, but he tells her, mumbling, that “it doesn’t matter. The hardcore matches matter. This doesn’t matter. It’s TLC that matter. JACK SWAGGER vs. DAMIEN SANDOW (w/David Otunga & Naomi)-
The match goes for about five minutes until Del Rio comes out and attacks Swagger with a chair, focusing on his arm. The Brain Trust join in the beatdown until the Prime Time Players come out and make the save.

She then asks Bourne to comment on the fact that his challenger at TLC, Roman Reigns, seems to have his number, especially since pinning him in the traditional Survivor Series match fifteen days ago. Bourne says that Reigns does have his number, but that just means that he will have to work extra-hard to find a way to beat him.
The Usos make the comment that it is all about momentum, and Bourne seems to have really started losing his momentum when he got pinned by Reigns at Survivor Series. They mention that they have had a lot of success while teaming with Bourne in the past two weeks, and say that maybe if Bourne had picked them to be on his team of high-flyers instead of International Airstrike 2.0, maybe Bourne wouldn’t have have lost his momentum.

What matters is the hardcore matches and the Intercontinental Title. He then starts yelling that People should have paid attention to what he did to Sin Cara on Main Event because that is only a sample of what he will do to CM Punk at TLC. He then walks off, still mumbling that “it doesn’t matter. Only TLC matters. Only the hardcore matches matter.”
CODY RHODES vs. BO DALLAS (w/Randy Orton)-
Cody wins clean in eight minutes. While Cody celebrates in the ring, Orton slips in behind him, takes of his sling, grabs Cody from behind and hits him with an RKO. As Orton and Bo walk to the back, Orton shouts “Killer instinct, Cody! This is what I’m talking about.”
Renee Young is backstage interviewing the Usos about their recent string of wins. International Airstrike come up to them and ask why the Usos dissed them on Raw. The Usos say that they are simply pointing out the facts. They have won a bunch of matches against power wrestlers while Airstrike keep losing to power wrestlers, so the Survivor Series match might have ended differently if they had been on the high flyers team instead of Airstrike. Airstrike challenge them to a match at TLC to find out who is the better team. The Usos accept.
RUN THE FIELD CHALLENGE MATCH #3: Daniel Bryan (2-0) (w/AJ Bryan) vs. Kofi Kingston-

Punk responds by talking about his experience in hardcore situations, pointing out his wins at TLC 2011, Extreme Rules 2012, Money in the Bank 2012, Summer Slam 2009, and the MITB matches at both Wrestlemania XXIV and Wrestlemania XXV. Ambrose jumps Punk from behind with a Kendo stick and they brawl around, using weapons, weapons, with Punk actually getting the better of Ambrose.

Cameron charges down to the ring and goes to give Noami a clothesline, but Naomi ducks it and gives Cameron a drop toe-hold. Naomi proceeds to ride Cameron, paintbrush her, and overall completely out-wrestle her, culminating in doing that spot where you tie your opponents body up around the bottom rope. Naomi laughs at Cameron and once again calls her a joke. Kaitlyn comes out and unties Cameron, who slinks off shamefully to the back. Kaitlyn says that she will accept Naomi’s open challenge, and we get…
WWE DIVAS TITLE MATCH: Naomi(c) vs. Kaitlyn-
Naomi wins clean in six minutes.
The ring is all set up for Sheamus and Cesaro’s contract signing. Before they come out, though, Steph announces that because the Run the Field Challenge ended with everyone at 3-0, she has signed a triple threat match for TLC in which the winner will get a future world title match.
Steph calls out Sheamus and Cesaro. Before signing the contract, Cesaro says that Sheamus is a disgrace to the entire continent of Europe. The last time he took on a disgrace to Europe, it was Santino Marella back at Summer Slam 2012 and he took Santino’s title from him… and at TLC, he will do the same to Sheamus!
Cesaro signs the contract, then shoves it over at Sheamus.
Sheamus: It might be true that the last time you took on someone you thought was a disgrace to Europe that you beat him... but it won’t happen this time. You say you’re going to take my title? Well the last guy who said that was Kane… and I beat him. And before him it was Luke Harper… and I beat him, too. And Randy Orton and Mark Henry and CM Punk and Wade Barrett and Dolph Ziggler and Big Show and Ryback and Christian and Jack Swagger and Daniel Bryan and Alberto Del Rio and Chris Jericho and all of the top names in the WWE! And I beat them… and I’m gonna beat you, too, fella.
Sheamus signs the contract and throws it down on the table. He and Cesaro have a staredown before Cesaro says “may the best European win” and offers a handshake. Sheamus accepts the handshake…
And Cesaro hits him with a big European Uppercut! He pushes the table out of the way, runs at Sheamus and his him with another! Then he runs back, grabs the World Heavyweight Title belt from the table and hits Sheamus with it, laying him out with his own belt. Cesaro poses with the belt held high above his head.

The #1 contendership match for the US Title between Jack Swagger and Alberto Del Rio has now been made a chairs match.
Main Event: (12/11/2013)-
THE GREAT KHALI vs. ANTONIO CESARO (w/Aksana)-
Cesaro wins clean in eight minutes.
DEAN AMBROSE vs. SIN CARA-
Ambrose intentionally gets himself DQed by grabbing weapons and just beats the sh*t out of Cara with them while screaming “SEE WHAT I CAN DO?! DO YOU SEE WHAT I CAN DO?!”
INTERNATIONAL AIRSTRIKE 2.0 vs. CO-BRO vs. DREW MCINTYRE & MICHAEL MCGILLICUTTY vs. THE COLONS (w/Rosa Mendes)-
Airstrike wins clean in fifteen minutes when Gabriel pins Ryder.
Superstars: (12/12/2013)-
CM PUNK vs. THE MIZ (w/Corey Graves )-
Punks wins clean in ten minutes with the GTS
KAITLYN vs. PAIGE -
Kaitlyn wins clean in eight minutes. Christian is on commentary for the match. He puts over his mastery of the ladder match and says there is no way RVD will ever beat him in one. He also puts over Paige because they are buddies.
CODY RHODES vs. ALBERTO DEL RIO (w/Ricardo Rodriguez)-
Cody wins clean in twenty minutes
WWE.com reports that, after talking extensively with General Manger of Raw and Smackdown Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley and WWE COO Triple H, the Big Show’s suspension has been lifted, and he will be at Smackdown tonight.
Also for tonight’s Smackdown, Jack Swagger will team with the Prime Time Players to face Alberto Del Rio and the Brain Trust, while Sheamus and Antonio Cesaro will have the official contract signing for their World Heavyweight Title match. In other championship-related news, Naomi will be making an open challenge tonight for the Divas Title.
Smackdown: (12/13/2013)- Portland, OR
RUN THE FIELD CHALLENGE MATCH #1: Mark Henry (2-0) vs. William Regal-
Henry wins clean in six minutes
Roman Reigns cuts a backstage promo saying that TLC he will beat that pipsqueak Evan Bourne and win his first main roster championship.
ROB VAN DAM vs. EVAN BOURNE-
The match goes about four minutes before Christian interferes. He knocks Bourne out with a ladder, then tries to hit RVD with the ladder, but RVD dropkicks the ladder into him, does a Rolling Thunder onto the ladder, and finally a Frog Splash.
Big Show cuts a backstage promo apologizing for his actions recently on Raw and Smackdown. He acknowledges that he acted in appropriately, and promises to control himself in the future.
RUN THE FIELD CHALLENGE MATCH #2: Dolph Ziggler(2-0) (w/Vickie Guerrero) vs. Dean Ambrose-
Ziggler wins clean in nine minutes. Renee Young once again tries to get a reaction interview form Ambrose, who once again mumbles that “it doesn’t matter.” Renee points out that he is on a bit of a losing streak now, but Ambrose mumbles that “it doesn’t matter.
Kofi Kingston-
Dragon wins clean in eight minutes. The announcers point out that all three guys won all three of their “Run the Field Challenge” matches and wonder who Steph will give a title shot to.
Renee Young is interviewing CM Punk. She asks Punk about Ambrose’s comments from earlier. She points out that Ambrose takes pride in being a hardcore specialist while Punk is more of a traditional wrestler and striker. She wonders if Punk might be in over his head facing Ambrose in a TLC match.
Naomi comes out to the ring to make her open challenge. She says it is open to anyone but Cameron. Cameron comes out and demands to know why this is. Naomi shows the reply of her beating Cameron is less than thirty seconds on Raw and says that Cameron isn’t qualified for this open challenge for the Divas Title because Cameron is a joke.
JACK SWAGGER & THE PRIME TIME PLAYERS vs. ALBERTO DEL RIO & THE BRIAN TRUST (w/Ricardo Rodriguez & Naomi)-
The match ends in a DQ when Del Rio hits all of the babyfaces with a chair. Del Rio smashes Swagger’s arm with a chair while Sandow & Otunga but Titus & Darren through tables. Ricardo announces to the world that this is a preview of what will happen at TLC.
WWE.com reports that the Usos vs. International Airstrike match has been made official, and will take place on the pre-show. In other TLC related news, due to Paige’s interference in Kofi Kingsotn’s ladder match for the WWE Title two weeks ago on Smackdown, Mrs. McMahon-Helmsley has decided to preemptively bar Paige from ringside for Christian’s ladder match against Rob Van Dam at TLC!

Re: BRM Books Raw 1,000 and beyond
WWE TLC 2013: (12/15/2013)- Houston, TX
PRE-SHOW MATCH: The Usos vs. International Airstrike 2.0-
After about ten minutes of high-flying action, Justin Gabriel counters a Samoan Drop with a Crucifix pin and gets the win for Airstrike
The Brain Trust cut a promo saying that they have outsmarted the Prime Time Players by maneuvering them into a tables match because they have a strategy that is so unbeatable that any chance of PTP retaining is as big of a joke as Cameron is.
MAIN SHOW:
WWE UNITED STATES TITLE MATCH: Evan Bourne(c) vs. Roman Reigns-
Reigns uses his power to dominate the match, but Bourne puts together a short comeback and goes for a Shooting Star Press but Reigns rolls out of the way. Reigns sets Bourne up for a Spear, but Bourne sidesteps it and Reigns bumps his head on the turnbuckles, allowing Bourne school boy him for the win in about ten minutes.
TABLES MATCH FOR THE WWE WORLD TAG TEAM TITLES: The Prime Time Players(c) vs. The Brain Trust (w/Naomi)-
The Brain Trust's grand strategy is to take advantage of Naomi's presence at ringside. Whenever PTP are about to put Sandow or Otunga through a table, Naomi will run in and move the table out of the way.
The finish comes when PTP are about to put Otunga through a table on the stage. When Naomi comes over to try to move the table, Cameron comes out to intercept her with a big spear, allowing PTP to but Otunga through a table and retain their titles in about ten minutes.
CHAIRS MATCH FOR #1 CONTENDERSHIP FOR THE WWE UNITED STATES TITLE: Jack Swagger vs. Alberto Del Rio (w/Ricardo Rodriguez)-
Both guys use the same general strategy, which is go after their target limb of choice with the chair, then try to finish their opponent off via submission. Del Rio wins up getting the win in about thirteen minutes
After the match, Renee Young tries to get a reaction interview from Swagger. Swagger says that he is disappointed that he lost, but it's not that big a deal. He'll work his way up the ranks again and try to earn another title opportunity.
We hear a primal scream of rage from off to the side, and an enraged Big Show charges into the scene, taking Swagger down with a huge spear. Show starts pummeling Swagger while dragging him through the Gorilla Position and out onto the stage, the whole time screaming that "IT'S NOT JUST A TITLE OPPORTUNITY!" He fights off all of the security guys who try to stop him with big knockout punches. Swagger starts showing some signs of life and try to fight back a bit, but Big Show cuts him off with the WMD, then picks him up high over his head, screams "IT WAS MY TITLE OPPORTUNITY!" and then throws Swagger from the stage all the way down to the floor!
Medical personnel leap into action, attending to Swagger, while Hunter, Steph, and the road agents all come out to try to calm Big Show down. They eventually get Big Show calm and get him to leave the arena. Meanwhile, Jack Swagger is being stretchered into an ambulance, which speeds away towards the hospital.
WINNER GETS THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE CONTRACT MONEY IN THE BANK BRIEFCASE: Cody Rhodes(c) vs. Randy Orton (w/Bo Dallas)-
Cody wins clean, pinning Randy in fifteen minutes with the Cross Rhodes.
TLC MATCH FOR THE WWE INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE: Dean Ambrose(c) vs. CM Punk-
As booker, I would try to have them emphasize both the violence level and as many new, innovative (or at least new to WWE) spots as they can in order to try to spin is as being on a different level than any other TLC match. Punk wins after 25 minutes of crazy, grueling hardcore action to become the new WWE Intercontinental Champion
WINNER GETS A WORLD TITLE SHOT IN THE FUTURE: Mark Henry vs. Daniel Bryan(w/AJ Bryan) vs. Dolph Ziggler (w/Vickie Guerrero)-
Henry dominates the match in the beginning, but Dragon and Dolph soon realize that they need to work together to take Mark out if either of them is ever going to have a chance of winning. They start to team together and manage to do a lot of damage to various parts of Mark's body. They eventually maneuver Mark onto the apron (I guess they would have to knock him down and then roll him under the ropes) and when Mark starts to get back to his feet, they both take a running start, bound off the opposite ropes and drill Mark right in the head with a tandem dropkick that sends Mark flying from the apron to the floor for a big bump (you can set up special mats with extra before the show to make the bump easier on Mark. Come to think of it, with this being TLC and people probably taking crazy bumps all night, you should probably set up mats with extra-strength padding all around the ring anyway).
Mark seems to be out, but Ziggler wants to make sure. He tells Dragon that they should each go to one of the turnbuckles and hit simultaneous double stomps on Mark to make sure that stays down for the rest of the match. Dragon agrees to the plan, but as they both start to go to a corner, Dolph quickly changes direction and jumps Dragon from behind. Dolph gets the heat on Dragon, but Dragon eventually makes comeback, and gets Dolph in the Yes Lock.
Dolph looks like he is ready to tap, but Vickie pulls the ref out of the ring. The ref yells at Vickie, but this causes him to miss the fact that Dolph has now started tapping. Vickie sees this over the ref's shoulder, though, so she thinks quickly and hits the ref with a DDT. AJ comes over and takes Vickie out, then tries to revive the ref, but it is no use. Dragon releases the hold to find out why the ref hasn't called for the bell yet, but this allows Dolph time to recover, and when Dragon turns his attention back to Dolph, hits him with a low blow.
Dolph goes on offense until the ref wakes back up, at which point Dolph locks in the sleeper hold. Dragon tires to fight it, but Dolph takes him down in the middle of the ring until they are in a grounded sleeper position. The ref goes to check on Dragon.
His arm drops once.
His arm drops twice.
While all of this has been going on, Mark Henry has recovered, and he is now back in the ring, charging at them. Mark jumps into the air, looking to crush both of his opponents at the same time, but Dolph sees him coming and manages to quickly release the hold and roll out of the way. Dragon is not so lucky, and Mark squashes him like a pancake. Mark starts to get up, but the quick-thinking Ziggler charges and hits him right in the side of the head with a dropkick. Dolph then locks the sleeper hold on Mark.
Mark struggles to get up while lock in the sleeper, but eventually actually manages to get back to his feet, with Dolph hanging on the whole way. Mark tries to shake Dolph off, but Dolph holds on tight, and Mark soon fades out, going back down to the mat. The ref checks him:
His arm drops once.
His arm drops twice.
His arm drops a third time.
Ziggler wins in about fifteen minutes, earning himself a future world title match.
WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: Sheamus(c) vs. Antonio Cesaro (w/Aksana)-
Sheamus def. Cesaro clean with the Brogue Kick in twenty-five minutes.
LADDER MATCH FOR THE WWE TITLE WITH PAIGE BARRED FROM RINGSIDE: Christian(c) vs. Rob Van Dam-
RVD wins in 25-30 minutes, winning his second WWE Title and proving that even at almost age 43, he still has what it takes to be the top dog in the WWE!

Re: BRM Books Raw 1,000 and beyond
There is lots of major news coming out of TLC, the most important of which is that Rob Van Dam defeated Christian to win the WWE Title. In the other major title change at TLC, CM Punk beat Dean Ambrose at Ambrose’s own game in a TLC match to win the Intercontinental Title. We will hear from both new champions tonight on Raw.
Also coming out of TLC, both The Big Show and Vickie Guerrero have been suspended indefinitely. Vickie was suspended for assaulting a WWE official and Big Show was suspended for his heinous assault on Jack Swagger. Swagger is still in the hospital, having sustained major injuries to his back and ribs. We do not know how long he will be out of action for, but we know it will be at least a matter of months. Everyone in the WWE family sends Jack their best wishes for a full and speedy recovery.
WWE.com can also report some of the matches signed for WWE TV this week. One man in particular, the World Heavyweight Champion, Sheamus, is in for a very difficult week. In tonight’s main event on Raw he will face Randy Orton and Mark Henry in a Triple Threat match. On Main Event he will team with Cody Rhodes and the Usos to take on Antonio Cesaro, the Colons, and Alberto Del Rio, on Superstars he will be in a six way match against RVD, Dolph Ziggler, Christian, Bo Dallas, and Roman Reigns, and on Smackdown he will go one-on-one with Daniel Bryan. When you add in his grueling World Heavyweight Title defense last night against Cesaro, Sheamus might be facing one of the most difficult weeks anyone has ever faced in WWE history!
Also announced for this week, Corey Graves will take on Bo Dallas on Main Event, Heath Slater vs. Santino Marella on Raw, AJ Bryan will take on Cameron on Superstars, the Colons vs. The Usos on Smackdown, a Divas Fatal Four Way on Raw featuring AJ Bryan, Natalya, Alicia Fox, & Kaitlyn, and on Smackdown, Kofi Kingston vs. Cody Rhodes.

Re: BRM Books Raw 1,000 and beyond
Raw (12/16/2013)- Dallas, TX
Raw opens up with RVD cutting a promo about how hard his journey back to the top of the WWE has been, but he says that winning the WWE Title and getting to celebrate with the fans has made it all worth it. He says that the fans’ faith in him inspired him to believe in himself when he was feeling down, and that he could never have done this without them.
Christian comes out and warns Rob not to get too attached to the title because he still has his return match, and when he cashes it in, he will knock Rob right back down to the bottom of the ladder. RVD offers to have the match right now, but Christian says that he will tell Rob when he is good and ready.
JINDER MAHAL vs. DANIEL BRYAN (w/AJ Bryan)-
Dragon wins clean, making Jinder tap to the Yes Lock in five minutes.
Cameron cuts a backstage promo saying that last night she proved to everyone, including Naomi, that she is not a joke.
R-TRUTH & ZACK RYDER vs. WADE BARRETT & ANTONIO CESARO (w/Aksana)-
Wade & Cesaro win clean in seven minutes
Dean Ambrose cuts a rambling semi-coherent promo. We are able to pick out certain words and phrases like “rematch,” “hardcore monster,” “regain my title,” and “regain my crown.”
THE PRIME TIME PLAYERS vs. COREY GRAVES & THE MIZ-
PTP win clean in seven minutes, pinning Graves after their double team finisher.
Byron Saxton is interviewing Santino in the locker room. Santino is still getting dressed for his match, but is willing to cut a promo anyway. He says some generic stuff about how happy he is to be in Dallas, but he is jumped from behind by Heath Slater. Heath grabs Santino’s boots off of the bench Santino had been using and hits Santino with them (think goofy windmill chops, but while swinging the boots), then runs off with Santino’s boots, and Raw cuts to a commercial.
When we come back from the commercial, Slater is in the ring, still holding Santino’s boots, but also holding a mic. Heath informs everyone of his brilliant plan to win tonight’s match by forfeit because without his boots, Santino won’t be able to compete because you would have to be a complete and total idiot to wrestle barefoot.
Santino comes out and their match commences, with Santino wrestling barefoot. They go for about two minutes until Santino gets the Cobra out. He tries to strike with the Cobra, but Heath catches his arm with both hands, pushing back hard and preventing the Cobra from striking. With both of Heath’s arms occupied blocking the Cobra, Santino reaches out with his other arm and applies the Von Erich Claw for the submission victory to pop the crowd.
FATAL FOUR WAY MATCH: Natalya vs. Alicia Fox vs. Kaitlyn vs. AJ Bryan (w/Daniel Bryan)-
AJ wins clean in six minutes, pinning Fox after a Shining Wizard.
Renee Young tries to get a reaction interview from AJ and Dragon. As they walk up, we hear them chattering excitedly about how a few more big wins like that and AJ will definitely be in contention for the Divas Title and about how Dragon has a chance to earn a World Heavyweight Title match if he beats Sheamus on Smackdown. They tell Renee that things are looking up in the Bryan household, and they are going to be champions together very soon.
Roman Reigns cuts a backstage promo saying that as much as he hates to admit it, Evan Bourne was the better man last night. Bourne walks up and says that Reigns has nothing to be ashamed of. He says that Reigns almost had him last night, and that if Reigns picks up a few victories, he will definitely lobby Hunter and Steph to give him another title shot. They shake hands.
Cody Rhodes cuts a backstage promo saying that last night at TLC he proved Randy Orton wrong, and he will go on proving everyone who doesn’t think he has what it takes be a world champion wrong.
SIN CARA & INTERNATIONAL AIRSTRIKE 2.0 vs. ALBERTO DEL RIO & THE COLONS (w/Rosa Mendes & Ricardo Rodriguez)-
Babyfaces win clean when Cara pins Primo.
The Brian Trust cut a backstage promo saying that Cameron was not supposed to be at ringside for their tables match last night with the Prime Time Players and thus her attacking Naomi should invalidate the results of the match and entitle them to another shot at the WWE World Tag Team Titles.
DOLPH ZIGGLER vs. KOFI KINGSTON-
The announcers put over the fact that this is Dolph’s first match without Vickie managing him in a long time and wonder how he will fare. Dolph wins clean in twelve minutes with the sleeper hold.
CM Punk cuts a backstage promo talking about how happy is to have won the IC Title. He says that he is still banged up from his match with Ambrose last night. He tells us that Ambrose’s string of losses in the last few weeks while he was still champ means that Punk has a long line of challengers waiting for him, including Daniel Bryan, Antonio Cesaro, Dolph Ziggler, Mark Henry, and Ambrose himself. Punk says that he welcomes these challenges and will bring the IC Title to new heights while once again showing everyone exactly why he is the “best in the world.”
We get a segment replaying big Show throwing Swagger off the stage last night and rundown of Swagger’s injuries.
The Usos cut a backstage promo saying that their match with International Airstrike 2.0 was so close last night and that they would like a rematch.
SHEAMUS vs. MARK HENRY vs. RANDY ORTON (w/Bo Dallas)-
Sheamus wins clean in twenty five minutes, pinning Orton after a Brogue Kick.

Re: BRM Books Raw 1,000 and beyond
On Tuesday, WWE.com posts two features. The first focuses on Sheamus' week. Josh Matthews asks Sheamus about it. Sheamus says he is glad for the challenge.
The second features focuses on the main event of this week's episode of Superstars. It talks up both Bo Dallas and Roman Reigns as two guys management has pegged as the future of the WWE and talks about what a huge challenge it will be for them to step into the ring against the World Heavyweight Champion, the WWE Champion, the former WWE Champion, and the #1 contender all at the same time.
WWE.com has also learned that Dean Ambrose's return match for the WWE Intercontinental Title will be on tomorrow night's WWE Main Event.
Smackdown will feature both the in-ring return of Luke Harper as well as an appearance by WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels!
Main Event: (12/18/2013)
SHEAMUS, THE USOS, & CODY RHODES vs. THE COLONS, ALBERTO DEL RIO, & ANTONIO CESARO (w/Rosa Mendes, Ricardo Rodrgiuez, & Aksana)-
Babyfaces win clean in fourteen minutes when Cody pins Cesaro.
COREY GRAVES (w/The Miz) vs. BO DALLAS (w/Randy Orton)-
Graves wins clean in five minutes with a small package
WWE INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH: CM Punk(c) vs. Dean Ambrose-
They go for about ten minutes, with Punk dominating most of the match. Ambrose is clearly not in a good state of mind, and seems very unstable. At about the ten minute mark we get a ref bump, and while Punk goes to check on the referee, Ambrose comes up behind him and gives him a low blow.
Ambrose goes to get a steel chair, and once he has the chair in his hands, Ambrose’s demeanor changes. He looks a lot more confident in himself now. He taunts the crowd a bit while Punk struggles to pull himself up in the corner. Ambrose gets back into the ring as Punk tentatively steps out of the corner. Ambrose charges at Punk and swings the chair full force, but Punk ducks under it and before Ambrose can turn around, Punk dropkicks him hard in the back. Ambrose is stent stumbling forward hard to towards the turnbuckle and he smacks his head on the chair.
The announcers play it like Ambrose is pretty much knocked out. Punk moves the chair out of the ring, then drags Ambrose towards the middle of the ring. Punk climbs to the top and hits the Randy Savage Elbow Drop. The ref, now mostly recovered, crawls over and counts the pin, giving Punk the victory.
Superstars (12/19/2013)
INTERNATIONAL AIRSTRIKE 2.0 vs. THE COLONS (w/Rosa Mendes)-
Airstrike wins clean in ten minutes
CAMERON vs. AJ BRYAN (w/Daniel Bryan)-
AJ wins clean in nine minutes, putting Cameron down with the Shining Wizard. The announcers put over both AJ’s win and the fact that Cameron lasted a lot longer than she usually does.
SHEAMUS vs. ROB VAN DAM vs. DOLPH ZIGGLER vs. ROMAN REIGNS vs. CHRISTIAN (w/Paige) vs. BO DALLAS (w/Randy Orton)-
They go for about fifteen minutes, and Reigns and Bo both get time in the ring with all of the big stars. Reigns definitely proves himself against them by holding his own, but Bo doesn’t do so well. He doesn’t embarrass himself or anything, but he winds up on the losing end of the exchange more often than not. The finish comes when Rob takes Sheamus down with a big dropkick in the corner. Reigns then comes up behind Rob and starts attacking him. Rob fights back and manages to get Reigns onto the apron. Christian takes the opportunity to charge at Rob from behind, but Rob sees him coming and sidesteps the spear, causing Christian to spear Reigns off the apron to the floor. Ziggler then comes in and tries to jump Rob from behind but Rob gets the better of him as well and sends Dolph soaring over the top rope and onto both Christian and Reigns. Rob then decides to dive onto the pile as well. Bo then gets into the ring and charges off the ropes for some momentum in order to dive onto the pile himself, but Sheamus pops up and intercepts him with a HUGE Brogue Kick, then gets the pin.

Re: BRM Books Raw 1,000 and beyond
Sorry this is taking so long to get out. I have most everything through the Rumble mapped out. I'm just finding it hard to sit down and write things out and fill in the blanks on the cards.
Smackdown: (12/20/2013)- San Antonio, TX
The show opens with Shawn Michaels coming out to the ring. He does some standard hometown babyface stuff. He then says that the Royal Rumble holds a very special place in his heart because of how it helped launch him into the main event spotlight, and because of that, he decided to drop by today to talk to his good friend WWE COO Triple H about this awesome idea he had for the Royal Rumble, but the real reason he came out here was to talk to a certain student of his: Daniel Bryan. Dragon comes out and HBK congratulates Dragon on all of his success in the WWE so far and says that he knows that Dragon has what it takes to beat Sheamus tonight, earn a shot at the World Heavyweight Title, and then beat Sheamus to win the title.
THE USOS vs. THE BRAIN TRUST-
The match never happens because the Brain Trust come out on the ramp and cut a promo saying that they are refusing to wrestle any more until they are given another shot at the tag titles because Cameron’s interference should invalidate the results of their match at TLC.
The Usos say that they came here to wrestle and make an open challenge for any tag team to face them. Co-Bro come out and we get…
CO-BRO vs. THE USOS-
Usos win clean in four minutes, pinning Santino.
LUKE HARPER vs. JINDER MAHAL-
Harper completely squashes Jinder. He seems to be back to his old dominant form. The announcers say that Harper seems to have put his confidence issues behind him.
International Airstrike cut a backstage promo accepting the Usos’ challenge for a rematch.
ROB VAN DAM vs. R-TRUTH-
RVD wins clean in six minutes. Christian is on commentary. Cole asks him when he will ask for his return match. Christian says he have his return match against RVD when he decides the time is right.
Renee Young interviews Dolph about having both a world title match and an IC Title match coming up. Dolph says he will win both belts. Renee asks him which world title he will challenge for. Dolph says he hasn’t made up his mind yet, but he knows that he wants his world title match at the Royal Rumble.
AJ BRYAN (w/Daniel Bryan) vs. ROSA MENDES (w/The Colons)-
AJ pretty much squashes Rosa in two minutes.
DEAN AMBROSE vs. COREY GRAVES (w/The Miz)-
Graves gets the best of Ambrose early on until Ambrose snaps, gets some weapons, and starts beating the crap out of Graves. Miz thinks about helping, but runs off instead. Ambrose declares that his loss against Punk in his return match for the IC Title shouldn’t count because he lost the belt in a match with hardcore rules so their rematch should be in a match with hardcore rules. Ambrose asserts (very strongly) that Punk’s victory over him in a hardcore match was just a fluke and he will prove it if Punk has the balls to face him again.
CODY RHODES vs. KOFI KINGSTON-
Cody wins clean in ten minutes
Renee Young asks CM Punk for a response to Ambrose’s challenge. Punk says he he’ll take on any challenge.
MARK HENRY vs. ROMAN REIGNS vs. SIN CARA-
Reigns wins clean, pinning Car after a spear. Evan Bourne is on commentary and puts Reigns over as having the heart of a champion. He goes to shake Reigns’ hand after the match but Alberto Del Rio angrily storms out to the ring and accuses Bourne of trying to set Reigns up as a challenger because Bourne knows he can beat him but that he can’t beat Del Rio, the rightful #1 contender to the US Title. Del Rio says that he won’t allow himself to be cheated out of his title match. He wants his shot at the US Title on Raw. Bourne accepts.
Backstage, Orton and Bo are watching tape of Bo’s two losses on Main Event and Superstars. Orton lectures Bo for not seizing a major opportunity granted to him. Bo admits that he was distracted thinking about his cousin Husky Harris’ disappearance. Orton tells him that he has to let the police do their job and handle the missing person case. He tells Bo that they need to find a goal for Bo to focus on to help him be able to put Husky’s disappearance out of his mind while he is wrestling.
SHEAMUS vs. DANIEL BRYAN (w/AJ Bryan)-
HBK is on commentary for this match. The announcers ask what his idea for the Royal Rumble was, but HBK says he isn’t at liberty to discuss it. HBK puts Dragon over on commentary, but Sheamus winds up winning clean in thirteen minutes.

Re: BRM Books Raw 1,000 and beyond
WWE.com reports that both the Evan Bourne vs. Alberto Del Rio US Title match and the CM Punk vs. Dean Ambrose Hardcore match for the Intercontinental Title have been officially signed for tonight's Raw. In addition to these two title matches, we will also see a rubber match between the Usos and International Airstrike 2.0 in what is sure to be a high-flying battle that you don't want to miss!
The Big Show has asked for time to address the WWE Universe regarding his suspension from WWE for his heinous assault on Jack Swagger at TLC. Show has been granted this time, but, for the safety of all WWE employees, he will only appear live via satellite.
Despite our inquiries, sources within the highest levels of WWE management have been very tight-lipped about what Shawn Michaels revolutionary idea for the Royal Rumble is. At this point we don't even know if it will be implemented at all.

Re: BRM Books Raw 1,000 and beyond
WWE.com reports that The Miz’s protégé Corey Graves was injured by Dean Ambrose on Smackdown and will be out of action indefinitely.
Just announced for tonight’s Raw is a blockbuster ten man tag team main event that will see the World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus team up Kofi Kingston, Sin Cara, Randy Orton, and Orton’s protégé Bo Dallas take on WWE World Tag Team Champions the Prime Time Players, World Heavyweight Title Money in the Bank Contract Holder Cody Rhodes, R-Truth, and the returning Seth Rollins!
Raw: (12/23/2013)- Austin, TX
DANIEL BRYAN (w/AJ Bryan) vs. ANTONIO CESARO (w/Aksana)-
Cesaro wins clean in fifteen minutes. The announcers put over Dragon’s recent failures to earn a world title match, but also point out that both of these men are due for IC Title shots soon as a result of beating former champ Dean Ambrose in non-title matches before Ambrose lost the belt.
LUKE HARPER vs. HEATH SLATER-
Squash
Renee Young interviews the Miz about Ambrose’s attack on Corey Graves and asks him about Graves’ condition. Miz says Graves will be out for a while, and says he is so distraught by the attack that he doesn’t want to talk about it. Instead he will just focus on his tag team match tonight with Roman Reigns against Ryder and Santino.
Cole and Lawler question the sincerity of Miz’s emotions, and wonder how much he actually cares about Graves.
The announcers recap the situation with Big Show and his actions at TLC, then Steph comes out to the ring to interview Big Show, live via satellite. Big Show shows remorse for his actions, saying that he wishes he hadn’t acted the way that he did and he wishes Jack Swagger a speedy recovery. Steph says she will take Big Show’s remorse into account when she reviews his appeal this week, but she says that she is afraid that he is still a danger to others and tells him not to expect to be back any time soon. Show gets angry and tells Steph that it is a bit ridiculous to suspend him for jumping someone backstage. I mean come on! This is pro wrestling! That sort of thing happens all the time. Steph responds by acknowledging backstage assaults happen all too often in pro wrestling, and says that here in the WWE, she is trying to crack down on it, giving various examples from the fall of her suspending people for backstage assaults. Show gets angry and declares the interview to be over.
THE USOS vs. INTERNATIONAL AIRSTRIKE 2.0-
Usos win clean in ten minutes of high-flying action after their double diving splash finisher
CAMERON vs. ROSA MENDES (w/the Colons)-
Cameron wins clean in five minutes
ROB VAN DAM vs. WADE BARRETT-
RVD wins clean in twelve minutes with the Frog Splash
Renee Young quickly recaps the Rollins-Ambrose saga, then interviews Seth Rollins about returning to action tonight after the injuries he sustained at the hands of former friend Dean Ambrose. Rollins says that he won’t interfere in the IC Title match tonight. He won’t be looking for revenge on Ambrose because at this point, he doesn’t care what happens to Ambrose. Dean is beyond help. He tried to help him and got burned for it. Dean has always been unstable, and everyone just needs to accept that this is who Dean is.
ROMAN REIGNS & THE MIZ vs. CO-BRO-
Miz & Reigns win clean in five minutes when Reigns pins Santino after a spear.
THE GREAT KHALI vs. CHRISTIAN (w/Paige)-
Christian wins clean in eight minutes, taking Khali down after multiple spears, the climbing to the top rope, mocking RVD’s pose, and hitting a Frog Splash for the pin.
MARK HENRY vs. JTG-
Mark squashes JTG
WWE UNITED STATES TITLE MATCH: Evan Bourne(c) vs. Alberto Del Rio (w/Ricardo Rodriguez)-
Del Rio comes out before the match and cuts a heel promo on the crowd, talking about how sad being in Texas makes him because he knows that Mexico is so close, but instead of a beautiful place like Mexico, he is stuck in a craphole like Texas. Bourne comes out for their match with some babyface fire and they go for about twelve minutes until Bourne is setting up for the Air Bourne but Del Rio distracts the ref, allowing Ricardo to shove Bourne off the top rope and send him crashing into the announce table. Bourne does not answer the ten count, and Del Rio is awarded the count-out victory, but Bourne still retains the title.
THE CHICKBUSTERS (w/ Daniel Bryan) vs. BRIE BELLA & NAOMI (w/Nikki Bella & the Brain Trust)-
Otunga does commentary for this match, and Cole asks him how he and Sandow can possibly be upset that Cameron interfered in a tables match, which has no disqualifications, and especially when Cameron only came out to stop Naomi from interfering. Otunga says that the difference is that Naomi has a manager’s license and thus is allowed to be at ringside, while Cameron does not, and thus WWE officials should have prevented Cameron from even entering the ringside area. Cole asks if Sandow and Otunga have manager’s licenses to be out here for this match, and Otunga replies “of course we do. We would never break a rule” and promptly pulls his manager’s license out of his wallet to show Cole.
The match goes six minutes and ends when Naomi pins AJ clean with the split-legged moonsault. Byron Saxton tries to get a reaction interview from AJ and Dragon about their losses to the champions recently. They are very disappointed and yell at Byron to go away.
HARDCORE MATCH FOR THE WWE INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE: CM Punk(c) vs. Dean Ambrose-
Punk wins in twenty minutes. After the match we go to a commercial, and when we return, we see Ambrose having a breakdown and just smashing things while WWE security tries (and eventually succeeds) in calming him down and getting him to leave the ringside area peacefully. Cole, Lawler, and JBL explain to us that when Ambrose recovered from the finish and the realization set in on him that he had lost another hardcore match, he snapped.
DOLPH ZIGGLER vs. JINDER MAHAL-
Dolph squashes Jinder
SHEAMUS, RANDY ORTON, BO DALLAS, KOFI KINGSTON, & SIN CARA vs. THE PRIME TIME PLAYERS, SETH ROLLINS, CODY RHODES, & R-TRUTH-
Cody seems to be entirely focused on Sheamus, always wanting to face him. Orton and Bo seem similarly fixated on PTP, but to a lesser degree. The announcers explain Cody’s fixation on Sheamus as being because Cody’s self-imposed deadline for winning the World Heavyweight Title, WWE’s return to Tampa for Raw’s 21st Anniversary Show, is now just a mere three weeks away, and he is doing everything he can to earn a title shot, and pinning Sheamus is the surest way to do that. The explain Orton & Bo’s fixation on the tag champs as being Orton setting a goal for himself and Bo to help stop Bo from dwelling on Husky Harris’ disappearance (if you have seen this man, please call the WWE hotline immediately) and thus getting distracted during matches.
Rollins looks great in his return, doing lots of athletic things and having several very cool sequences with Kofi that end in stalemates. The match winds up going about 25 minutes completely cleanly, ending when Cody pins Sin Cara. Everybody raises everybody else’s hand afterwards and we get a big respectful babyface celebration to end the show.
WWE.com reports that as a result of injuries sustained in last night’s title defense against Alberto Del Rio, WWE United States Champion Evan Bourne will be out of action for about a week.
General Manager of Raw and Smackdown Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley and her husband, WWE COO Triple H seem to have some big announcement coming up, but are being very tight-lipped about them.
After their performance against each other in last night’s big tag team main event, Seth Rollins and Kofi Kingston have requested a singles match against each other, and that match has been signed for this week’s Superstars. If you saw Raw’s main event, you know that this is not a match you want to miss.
Main Event: (12/25/2013)
DEAN AMBROSE vs. ROMAN REIGNS-
Ambrose gets frustrated very easily and seems to always be on the verge of snapping. Reigns out-wrestles him in the beginning, but Ambrose takes over with his brawling ability and hits a Cactus Clothesline, sending them both to the outside. Ambrose goes for an Irish Whip into the steps but Reigns reverses it, sending Ambrose into the steps instead. This seems to make Ambrose lose all of his confidence, and he is pinned soon after when Reigns hits him with a spear.
Ambrose has a minor meltdown afterwards, during the commercial, but is talked down by security as we come back from commercial.
Renee Young is interviewing CM Punk. She asks him how he is feeling after so many grueling matches recently, including a TLC match with Ambrose ten days ago and a Hardcore match with Ambrose less than 48 hours ago. Punk says he is banged up, but he is determined to keep on fighting. He talks about admiring various IC Champs as a kid and talks about wanting to be a fighting champion and raise the prestige of the belt, etc. etc.
Cesaro comes by and says that he is owed an IC Title match, and that if Punk really wants to be the fighting champion he claims to be, he’ll put the belt on the line against Cesaro right now! Punk accepts and they head to the ring. Michael Cole informs us that Steph has just told him that this match is official.
WWE INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH: CM Punk(c) vs. Antonio Cesaro-
Punk wins clean in twenty minutes, despite being banged up. During the match, both Dolph Ziggler and Mark Henry came out to complain about Cesaro leapfrogging to the front of the line when they, too, have IC Title shots coming up.
TENSAI & THE MIZ vs. THE USOS-
Usos win clean in eight minutes, pinning Tensai after their double splash finisher. After the match, International Airstrike 2.0 come out and say “well now we’re 1-1, so I guess we need a rubber match.” The Usos respond “you’re on.”
WWE.com reports that Mark Henry and Dolph Ziggler were both upset about Cesaro leapfrogging to the front of the line for an Intercontinental Title match. When asked for comment, Daniel Bryan, who is also due a shot at that title, said that he has no claim to getting a title shot before Cesaro because Cesaro defeated him on Raw, but he is still hungry for his title shot. WWE General Manager of Raw and Smackdown Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley has spent all day today meeting with all three wrestlers and hopes to be able to announce an official schedule for those title shots soon.
Del Rio puts out a Tout saying that while there might be controversy of the who the #1 contneder to the IC Title is, there is no controversy at all over who the #1 contender to the US Title is. He says that Bourne was lucky to retain his title by count-out, and that as soon as Bourne is healthy again, he will take the US Title from him.
Superstars: (12/26/2013)
CODY RHODES vs. ANTONIO CESARO (w/Aksana)-
Cody wins clean in twelve minutes
CHRISTIAN (w/Paige) vs. HUNICO-
Christian wins clean in four minutes after a Frog Splash, doing RVD’s pose before hitting the move.
KOFI KINGSTON vs. SETH ROLLINS-
They go for eighteen minutes with no winner. The match ends in a double count-out on the outside after a big dive when both men slide back into the ring, but JUST miss beating the count.
WWE.com reports that the rubber match between the Usos and International Airstrike 2.0 has been made official… but with one small twist. To thank the fans of Texas for two great weeks, WWE has made this match a Texas Tornado match!
Also signed for Smackdown will be a big tag team main event that will see the #1 contender to the WWE Title, Christian, team with the #1 contender to the US Title, Alberto Del Rio to take on WWE Champion Rob Van Dam and WWE Intercontinental Champion CM Punk.

Re: BRM Books Raw 1,000 and beyond
Smackdown: (12/27/2013)- Corpus Christie, TX
TEXAS TORNADO MATCH: The Usos vs. International Airstrike 2.0-
Airstrike win clean in fifteen minutes. The Usos show them respect with a post-match handshake.
After the match ends, we go to Steph’s office, where Steph has a whole bunch of announcements to make. She first puts over the Usos vs. Airstrike match and says that that is exactly the type of exciting tag team wrestling you can expect from the WWE in the future… the VERY near future, in fact, because she is proud to announce the Blind Draw Tag Team Tournament. This will be an eight team tournament whose official rules will be revealed on Monday’s Raw. What she will say at this time is that this tournament is open to the first eight teams who sign up, that’s its final match will be contested on the big Raw 21st Anniversary Show in Tampa, FL in two weeks, and the winning team will receive a WWE World Tag Team Title match at the Royal Rumble!
The next announcement concerns the order of the challengers for the WWE Intercontinental Title. After speaking with Daniel Bryan, Mark Henry, and Dolph Ziggler, Steph has decided to use the results of their match at TLC to determine the order of the title shots. Ziggler, who won the match, will receive his title shot first, and that match will take place in three days on Raw. Bryan, who did not win the match, but did not take the fall, either, will receive his title shot the next week on the first Raw of 2014. Mark Henry who submitted in that match, will get his title shot the following week at the Raw 21st Anniversary Show.
Finally, Steph has reviewed the suspension appeals for Vickie Guerrero and the Big Show. Vickie, who was suspended indefinitely for assaulting a referee at TLC, will remain suspended until the end of 2013. Big Show, who was suspended in definitely for assaulting Jack Swagger and throwing him off of a stage, causing substantial injuries, will remain suspended indefinitely, and she will review the case again at a later date.
Roman Reigns cuts a backstage promo talking about having the heart of a champion and saying that he wants to prove it to the world by winning his first big-league championship in WWE. From off camera, someone starts to give him a mocking slow-clap. Miz walks up and Reigns gets in his face, but Miz tells Reigns that he thinks that Reigns has what it takes to be a champion in the WWE… he just needs a mentor to help him along the way… and what better mentor could he possibly have than a former WWE Champion like Miz himself?
Reigns is suspicious, but Miz tells him that they made a good tag team on Raw and thinks they can win the Blind Draw Tag Team Tournament together and beat the Prime Time Players. Reigns agrees to team with Miz and Miz says he will go to Steph and sign them up right away, telling Reigns “Rule #1: never pass up a big opportunity.”
CODY RHODES vs. DEAN AMBROSE-
Cody completely outwrestles Ambrose and pins him in about seven minutes. Ambrose has another post-match breakdown and is talked down by security, but quicker than last time.
Renee Young is interviewing Kofi Kingston and Seth Rollins about their inconclusive finish last night on Superstars. Renee asks if there are any plans for a rematch. They tell her that they were actually thinking about teaming up and joining the Blind Draw Tag Team Tournament.
CAMERON vs. KAITLYN
Cameron wins clean in five minutes with a diving crossbody
Randy Orton cuts a backstage promo announcing that he has entered himself and Bo Dallas into the Blind Draw Tag Team Tournament, saying that this tournament will give Bo something to focus on during his matches so that his mind doesn’t dwell to thoughts of his missing cousin, Husky Harris (but if you have seen Husky Harris, please call the WWE Hotline right away).
LUKE HARPER vs. TENSAI-
Harper wins clean in six minutes with the Steamroller
Dragon and AJ cut a promo about how just a week ago things seemed to be going perfectly for them, but now they are both all but out of contention for a world or Divas’ title, but they will persevere because they know their story will have a happy ending. Their delivery is very subdued, though, and from their facial expressions, you can tell that they don’t quite 100% believe what they are saying.
HEATH SLATER & JINDER MAHAL vs. WADE BARRETT & ANTONIO CESARO (w/Aksana)-
Wade & Cesaro squash Heath & Jinder. After the match, Cesaro and Barrett cut a promo informing everyone that they have entered themselves into the Blind Draw Tag Team Tournament and saying that they will beat all of the other teams just as easily as they beat Heath and Jinder here tonight.
The Brain Trust come out to the ring to cut a promo. Sandow says that everyone is now talking about the Blind Destiny Tag Team Tournament and talking about who is getting an Intercontinental Title shot at which show, but no one is talking about the fact that they deserve a rematch for the tag team titles more than anyone. They demand to know when they will get a rematch under fair circumstances. The Prime Time Players come out and Titus says that they are sick of the Brain Trust’s whining, so they have contracts right here for a WWE World Tag Team Title match next week on Raw, complete with a stipulation that only authorized personnel will be allowed at ringside during the match. Sandow says that he doesn’t trust PTP so he wants Otunga to look over the contracts. PTP say that is fine with them, and if everything is to Brain Trust’s liking, they will see them on Raw.
SHEAMUS & SIN CARA vs. THE COLONS (w/Rosa Mendes)-
Sheamus & Cara win clean in nine minutes when Sheamus pins Primo.
We get a backstage comedy segment with Co-Bro deciding that they will sign up for the Blind Draw Tag Team Tournament.
MARK HENRY vs. R-TRUTH-
Henry wins clean in six minutes.
We get a quick video update on the conditions of Evan Bourne, Corey Graves, and Jack Swagger. All three are recovering well. Bourne should be back in about a week. There is still no timetable for Graves or Swagger’s return.
CM PUNK & ROB VAN DAM vs. ALBERTO DEL RIO & CHRISTIAN (w/Ricardo Rodriguez & Paige)-
Dolph Ziggler comes out to do guest commentary for this match and discusses both facing Punk for the IC Title on Raw and the possibility of facing either RVD or Christian for the WWE Title at a later date with the title shot he won at TLC.
The match goes about fifteen minutes until Christian grabs a chair and blatantly attacks RVD’s leg. Punk tries to make the save but Del Rio tops him and Christian hits Punk with the chair a few times, too, before going back to working over RVD’s leg. Ziggler goes to the ring and he and Christian have a brief staredown until Ziggler convinces Christian that he is only here to beat on Punk. Dolph beats on Punk while Christian tells RVD that he wants his rematch in three days on Raw!
TEXAS TORNADO MATCH: The Usos vs. International Airstrike 2.0-
Airstrike win clean in fifteen minutes. The Usos show them respect with a post-match handshake.

Re: BRM Books Raw 1,000 and beyond
WWE.com reports that all eight spots in the Blind Draw Tag Team Tournament have been filled, but in order to preserve the "blind draw" the teams will not be revealed until Raw... and what a Raw it will be as WWE closes out the year with "Championship Monday."
In addition to the start of the Blind Draw Tag Team Tournament, which will determine who will challenge for the WWE World Tag Team Titles at Royal Rumble, there will be three other big title matches:
CM Punk defends the Intercontinental Title against Dolph Ziggler
The Prime Time Players defend the WWE World Tag Team Titles against the Brain Trust
Rob Van Dam makes his first defense of the WWE Title against former champion Christian.

Re: BRM Books Raw 1,000 and beyond
Raw: (12/30/2013)- Richmond, VA- Championship Monday
WWE INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH: CM Punk(c) vs. Dolph Ziggler-
The match goes about six seven minutes before the Big Show jumps the barricade. Ziggler, who had gone to the outside to regroup, is the closest to the Big Show, and thus is the first to feel his wrath: A big knockout punch (Ziggler wins by DQ). Punk dives onto Big Show in an attempt to slow him down a bit, but Show also KO’s him. Security pours out from both backstage and from other areas of the arena. Show starts to plow through them, so Triple H comes out, followed by many of the larger members of the locker room: Sheamus, Mark Henry, Luke Harper, Khali, Tensai, Cesaro, Barrett, Roman Reigns, Ezekiel Jackson, Mason Ryan… eventually they are able to subdue the Big Show, though not without some casualties, as both Ryan and Zeke get KOed with the WMD. They, along with the security guys, get handcuffs on Big Show, and Hunter orders Tensai, Henry, and Khali to help the cops make sure Big Show gets to the police station, and we go to a commercial.
DEAN AMBROSE vs. R-TRUTH-
Truth out-wrestles Ambrose for a few minutes. Ambrose gets frustrated and snaps. He grabs a trash can from under the ring. The ref tries to stop him, but Ambrose shoves the ref, getting himself DQed. He charges at Truth with the trash can, but Truth hits a drop toe-hold, sending Ambrose face first into the trash can. At this point Ambrose breaks down crying. Everyone leaves the ring… which is fortunate because Ambrose soon transitions into a rage, grabbing the trash can and smashing it on everything in sight. Security come out to try to stop him, but he hits a few of them with the trash can to.
Hitting security with the trash can seems to have calmed Ambrose down, but he breaks down once again into a half-crying, half-mumbling state. Byron Saxton tries to ask Ambrose some questions about his mental state, but Ambrose just stares blankly at him. Luke Harper walks over, put a big arm around Ambrose’s shoulders in a comforting manner and says “come with me, my friend, and I will introduce to a most amazing man. A man who can help you. A man who can change your life.” Harper steers Ambrose towards the parking lot, the two of them get into a car and leave.
Evan Bourne cuts a quick backstage promo telling us that the doctors say he should be returning to action very shortly, possibly as soon as Main Event or Superstars, and that he will almost certainly be wrestling on Smackdown.
SHEAMUS vs. SIN CARA-
The Bryans came out to ringside for this match. Dragon sat down in a chair at ringside and was taking copious notes on a note pad. AJ went over to the commentary booth and explained that Dragon wants to be 100% ready the next time a world title opportunity comes his way, so they spent the whole weekend watching tapes of not only Sheamus and RVD, but also RVD’s challenger tonight, Christian, and Cody Rhodes, who holds the World Heavyweight Title Money in the Bank contract, and Dolph Ziggler, who has a world title match coming up at some point in the future.
She explains that they weren’t out here for Ziggler’s match because they watched that one from the monitor, but now Dragon has decided that he wants a closer look.
AJ puts over how difficult it is to prepare for so many different opponents which such different styles all at the same time. From her tone we can tell that perhaps Dragon is getting a bit obsessive in his preparations, but AJ will support him unconditionally so that they can achieve their dream of being champions together.
Sheamus wins clean in fifteen minutes when he counters one of Cara’s Lucha tilt-a-whirl moves into White Noise, then hit the Brogue Kick.
MARK HENRY vs. CODY RHODES-
Dragon remains at ringside for this match, taking notes. Rather than do commentary, AJ joins him with a notepad of her own, occasionally nudging him and pointing something out.
Cody uses a hit-and-run strategy and gets Mark tired out before managing to hop on his back and choke him out with a sleeper hold. Total match time is about sixteen minutes.
The Brian Trust cut a promo saying that now that Cameron won’t be able to stick her nose in their business, they will win the WWE World Tag Team Titles tonight.
When we return from a commercial, Steph is in the ring to introduce the Blind Draw Tag Team Tournament. She explains that the way this will work is that this will be a single elimination tournament, but the brackets will be chosen at random and will be hidden, so you will not know who your opponents will be or even when the match will be (until the final pairing of each round, at which point the process of elimination obviously kicks in, but let’s just ignore that). She now introduces the teams, one by one:
CO-BRO!
INTERNATIONAL AIRSTRIKE 2.0!
SETH ROLLINS & KOFI KINGSTON!
ANTONIO CESARO & WADE BARRETT- THE EUROPEAN UNION!
DREW MCINTYRE & MICHAEL MCGILLICUTTY!
THE USOS!
RANDY ORTON & BO DALLAS!
And last but not least…
THE MIZ & ALBERTO DEL RIO!
The announcers are very confused by this last team because last week on Smackdown we saw Miz say he would team with Roman Reigns. Indeed, Reigns quickly comes out and starts screaming at Miz. Reigns shoves Miz, so Miz goes to hit Reigns but the rest of the wrestlers in the ring quickly pull them apart before anything can happen. Steph orders Reigns to go to the back, and he, after staring a hole through the Miz, he tells Miz “this isn’t over” and heads to the back.
Getting back to business, Steph says that the first match in the Blind Draw Tag Team Tournament will be right now! A randomized program reveals the names of two teams on the Titan-Tron: Drew McIntyre & Michael McGillicutty… and Randy Orton & Bo Dallas. Steph orders everyone else to the back as we go to commercial, and when we return, we get…
BLIND DRAW TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT FIRST ROUND MATCH: Randy Orton & Bo Dallas vs. Drew McIntyre & Michael McGillicutty-
Bo & Randy win clean in about twelve minutes when Orton pins Drew. During the match the announcers alert us about some sort of disturbance backstage and promise that we will have some footage of it after this match.
FOOTAGE OF THE BACKSTAGE DISTURBANCE- We see an already-in-progress between Reigns and Miz. They are pulled apart by security.
THE COLONS (w/Rosa Mendes) vs. HEATH SLATER & JINDER MAHAL-
Colons win clean in six minutes.
The Miz cuts a backstage promo which he specifically addresses to Roman Reigns. He says that while he was on his way to Steph’s office to sign them up for the Blind Draw Tag Team Tournament, he bumped into Del Rio. Del Rio asked him if he would like to tag with him, so Miz said yes. Miz tells Reigns that it is nothing personal, and that Reigns should view this as a chance to learn. Miz’s rule for success #1 was “never pass up a big opportunity.” Rule for success #2 is “always ensure that you have the best possible chance to win.” Del Rio is a better wrestler than Reigns, therefore Miz is more likely to win the tournament and get a tag team title shot if he teams with Del Rio instead.
Santino & Ryder are involved in a wacky comedy skit in which a turban and robe wearing Santino looks into his crystal ball, goes into a violent, shaking trance (think Trelawny from Harry Potter), and then declares that he has seen the future… and Team Co-Bro will win the Blind Draw Tag Team Title Tournament and get a WWE World Tag Team Title match at the Royal Rumble! Ryder asks him who they will be facing at the rumble. Santino claims to “not remember that part.”
The Brian Trust come out for the tag team title match, bragging about how they will win. Then the Prime Time Players make their entrance, and Cameron comes out with them. The Brain Trust immediately start to object to her presence, as the contract specifically stated that only people who were licensed to be at ringside could be at ringside for the match. In response, Cameron reaches into her pocket, pulls out her wallet, and then pulls out a shiny new manager’s license! The Brain Trust, of course, get all angry about this, the ref tells them that everything checks out and there is nothing they can do.
WWE WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: The Prime Time Players(c) (w/Cameron) vs. The Brain Trust (w/Naomi)-
PTP win clean in twenty minutes. Cameron plays a big role in the match, neutralizing Naomi whenever she tries to interfere or distract the referee.
CM Punk cuts a promo saying that he doesn’t want any blemishes on his record as IC Champion, so if Dolph want a rematch, all he has to do is name a place and a time.
WWE TITLE MATCH: Rob Van Dam(c) vs. Christian (w/Paige)-
Dragon & AJ are once again at ringside taking notes. Christian works over the leg of RVD’s that he injured on Smackdown, but RVD eventually makes a comeback and gets the win in about twenty-five minutes.
Re: BRM Books Raw 1,000 and beyond
Cesaro & Barrett Tout about Drew being an embarrassment to Europe for losing to Americans. They also call him dumb for picking an American partner. McIntyre & McGillicutty respond on Twitter by challenging Cesaro & Barrett to a match on Superstars. (WWE.com covers this story to make sure that no one misses it, and also to announce that the match has been made official).
WWE also hypes up Dragon making an appearance on NXT.
Main Event: (1/1/2014)
Sheamus opens the show by saying that he was disappointed that he didn’t get to defend the World Heavyweight Title on Championship Monday, so he decided that the best way to start off the new year would be to issue an open challenge for the World Heavyweight Title. The challenge is answered by Roman Reigns, and with word from Steph that this is official, we get…
WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: Sheamus(c) vs. Roman Reigns-
AJ comes out to do commentary. She explains that with Dragon on NXT tonight, he has asked her to scout any matches of guys he might have to beat for a world title. She seems kind of unhappy that she is here doing this instead of being with her husband.
Reigns puts up a great fight, but loses clean in fifteen minutes. Sheamus shows him a lot of respect after the match.
CAMERON vs. BRIE BELLA (w/Nikki Bella)-
Cameron wins clean in four minutes.
BLIND DRAW TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT FIRST ROUND MATCH: The Usos vs. International Airstrike 2.0-
When the match is revealed, the announcers mark out and say that this will be another match in the phenomenal series these two young teams have been having. The two teams back up the announcers’ words, going almost twenty minutes, with the Usos winning cleanly to advance in the tournament. Randy Orton & Bo Dallas watch from the ramp.
