ROH Death Before Dishonor VIII Review:
Opening Segment: Up In Smoke (Cheech and Cloudy) come out for the opener against ANX but El Generico runs right past them into the ring and demands he faces Kevin Steen in the opener rather than wait till later by screaming STEEN... NOW!!!!! Then Steve Corino comes out and tells Generico that Steen is a main event player and would never wrestle the opener so Generico screams again STEEN ... NOW!!!! so Steve says it won't happen and he should enjoy the time he has now because Corino is wearing black for Generico's funeral tonight then Generico again screams NOW!!! then Kevin Steen comes out and faces Generico against Corino's wishes and Steen says STEVE IT'S FINE THIS ENDS ... NOW!. Great segment to put over Generico not being able to hold his desire to fight Steen anymore and wanting to fight Steen immediately and not wait
Kevin Steen vs El Generico: ***1/2 Great opener that really put over the hatred between Steen and Generico without making it impossible for the other matches to top it and leaving the fans wanting more for when they would have there blow off

Up In Smoke (Cheech and Cloudy) vs All Night Xpress (Kenny King and Rhett Titus): **3/4 Fun match but aside from a few fun spots there wasn't really much to get into altho this was 1 of the few times Kenny King got a "YOU F**KED UP" chant in ROH
ANX and Austin Aries Promo: ANX announce they are now being managed by Austin Aries and will be future champs then announce Austin Aries for his match who says now that he has the mic every penny they paid to see the show on IPPV and live is officially worth it and says he tried to apologize to Delirious for crossing the line and injuring his throat he "even tried to apologize to that bony little slut Daizee Haze" (Great line) but he wouldn't have he insisted on revenge so he'll beat him even more leading to

Delirious vs Austin Aries: **1/2 There was some nicce storytelling in here but there were a few things I hated about this such as while Delirious misting Aries is fair after what Aries did to him it's still grounds for DQ and the ref never called for the bell and they said ANX had been banned from the match then came out and interfered anyway and got no repercussions
Post Match: ANX attacks Delirious Rhett Titus is mocking Delirious so he headbutts Rhett in the mid section pantses him (Which made Rhett start thrusting which I thought wasa nice touch) and kicks him low then Delirious dives to the outside on King and Aries but Aries gets out of the way and Delirious only nails King

Toronto Gauntlet Eddie Edwards vs Tyson Dux vs Shawn Daivari vs Colt Cabana vs Steve Corino vs Roderick Strong: **1/2 The 1st 3 Falls I didn't like the 1st 1 due to WHO THE HELL BOOKS TYSON DUX TO GO OVER EDDIE EDWARDS!!! the 2nd due to I'm not a big fan of Shawn Daivari or Tyson Dux in the ring all that much and the 3rd due to it was 30 seconds long but the last 2 were good I enjoyed the Corino/Cabana feud and they did well furthering there feud (I also have to mention I loved it when Bobby Cruise would always take a shot at Corino by announcing him as being 100-150 LBS heavier than he is) and the final fall helped put over Roderick's new heel persona and his new manager Truth Martini as well

Intermission: El Generico attacks Steen they brawl around ringside Corino attacks Generico Cabana evens the odds and Generico ends it with hitting his Brainbuster then choking Steen out with Bobby Cruise's tie (This was the same week Daniel Bryan got fired from WWE for choking the announcer out with his tie so that made it awesome for me)

Jim Cornette Promo: Cornette says ROH is the best wrestling in the world and that's due to the fans and says with how much history wrestling has in Toronto they are the mecca of Pro Wrestling in North America (personally I'd have put NYC Philly and Chicago over Toronto myself) and promises the 2nd half will be better than the 1st (he was 100000000% right)

Pick 6 Series Match Christopher Daniels (2) vs Kenny Omega: ***3/4 Great match usually ROH's fast style is very fast paced and spot heavy but this match was more scientific it was still pretty fast paced but it was more scientific and storytelling where they made there big moves count than doing every move they can so while I do love the ROH style it was a nice change of pace from the stuff they usually do

KOW Promo: Bobby Cruise announces the Briscoe's didn't make it in time and have forfeited the match Claudio mocks the Briscoe's by thanking the Canadians for not allowing the Briscoe's into the country while Hero says he's disappointed they can't beat The Briscoes and prove they are the best then while he's saying that The briscoe's just came in and attack them mid promo
No DQ ROH World Tag Team Title Match Kings Of Wrestling (Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli) vs The Briscoe Brothers (Jay and Mark): ****1/4 This was very hate filled and violent not many weapon spots but when they did use weapons they used them well and it felt like they really wanted to kill each other

ROH World Title Match Davey Richards vs Tyler Black: ****3/4 THIS WAS F**KING AWESOME!!! WHEN THIS MATCH ENDED YOU KNEW WHO THE BETTER MAN WAS AND GIVEN THE FACT THAT (ACCORDING TO THE ANNOUNCER) IT WAS OVER 100 DEGREES AND THEY WENT 35 MINUTES THIS WAS 1 OF THE BEST MATCHES I'VE SEEN IN THE PAST 5 YEARS!!!!

Overall Rating: 9/10 THIS SHOW WAS AWESOME!!! The opener and the entire 2nd half are worth going out of your way to see and the rest was at least decent HUGE recommendation

Wow. I liked the undercard here a lot more than you did (actually I liked everything on this show more than you did, but it really shows in the first five matches.
